  I have just re skinned a friends site and I have a problem with the drop down menu on this page here:

  As you can see the 'description' field is set too far toward the bottom of the page and should be just below the title area "description."

  You must listen to the update and then change the order of objects.  Seems odd that RIM does not perform this themselves because it is a problem long been known.  A few other controls have similar problems.

• Problem of menu drop-down submenu

  I have a simple horizontal navigation with a few drop-down submenus. I made the bounding for the main elements of nav intentionally big so I could include an ideolocator above the words with the appropriate room. Given that the framework encompassing is large, the submenu down the bottom of the bounding box that is well below where I really want to fall down. I can move individual submenu plu top, however when I change any other submenus that that I just moved back to its original position. I see no work around, I almost tried everything.

  I think it is a problem with Muse because the submenu will look like it is the right place, then I change something else and it will immediately where she was. Someone at - it similar problems?

  * edit: I think the real problem here is that you cannot change the submenu separately from the nav element. even if you get the bounding around her box, you can only size differently, no option to move it around

  To determine if a user selects an item in a drop-down list, use the selectedOptionSet property.

  To work with values, you can use dropDownName.selectedOption.text.length to get the length of the selected text or dropDownName.selectedOption.value.toString () .length to get the length of the of the selected value.

• Problem of menu drop-down mobile

  I created the flyout by following the instructions available on this forum.  The behavior is almost perfect.

  When the flyout menu on the right side, the menu buttons are sitting behind the text on the page. How can I get the menu buttons, drag over the text on the page? I created the flyout using the widget of blank publication and it has been created on the master page.

  I did a system restore, after seeing some other problems with my computer. Now, it seems to work correctly. I think that refreshing Firefox may not have worked until I did the restore, because he tried to open my previous session, even after rebooting.   When I type in an address, the drop down menu no longer contains the same list of addresses as always. Instead, there is a list of locations (less actual addresses www.com beneath each) in bold and some places are repeated in the menu drop down but take me to a different site. Its a game guessing where Im going when I click on one. Next to each entry, there is a magnifying glass icon which was not there before. I was search playback for almost 3 hours trying to trouble shoot the issue and Ive tried to restore default with no luck. It's really annoying me... Any suggestions?

  Is the mouse a PS2 or USB one? Try to unplug and plug in then. If it's a USB then try another port as well and check.

  Problem with mouse:

  The problem I see here is that getUserSelectDrop is a function, not a variable, and so he needs parenthesis after it else Qt will stop execution of JavaScript as soon as he's trying to run it.

  Try this:

  if ( theOptions[count].value == settings.getUserSelectDrop() )

  The other thing I would say is that getUserSelectDrop() reads the value of the settings file every time through the loop, who has a bit of a drop in performance. I recommend to save the value of a local variable only once before the loop, then use for comparisons instead:
