  This design, and you don't have to worry about this. It's normal.

  As JJ said going back, it sounds like you were using the marquee tool.  If this is the case, after dragging on the first rectangle, hold down the SHIFT key and add others.  When you are ready go Edit > STROKE and caress the spirit selections the color of your choice, and you will get a result as in JJ post #2

  I'm going to search for this, but thought I would jump start here in case someone can give me a link or point me in the right direction on how to do while I'm looking.  It is an area of Flex, I've not hit on yet.

  Basically, I need to have my flex (AIR Application) application opens a new window, allows the user to draw a rectangle in this new window and then move the info from the box (X and Y, Width and Height) return to the main window.

  I've never done any of this and I'll try to find out how, but if someone could point me here until I find it online, it would help a lot, kind of in a lack of time... Thank you.

  1. create a MXML component based on the window. (I think that the canvas is by default...)

  2. in your main application ( for example..) import the component in my case:

  3. instantiate the component and open it in a new window:

• Unable to draw rectangles

  I have a trial of Illustrator CC on my Surface Pro 3. I open a new project and click on the rectangle tool to experiment with it and find that I can only make squares. Similarly, the elipse tool does circles. Since the key Shift is supposed to make circles and squares, perfect, I tried this, but nothing helps. Any idea what the problem might be? I have CS6 on my Windows 7 destop and it behaves properly.

  The touch interface uses buttons to constrain the ellipse tool and the rectangle of circles and squares. Maybe you clicked these buttons by accident.

If I draw the rectangle very quickly, I'll end with a value of 83 or something.
  
  I work around this problem by resetting the value of corners rounded to 0 each time. I can still work, but it's a pain to reset to 0 every time that I try to draw a rectangle.
  
  Anyone know how to fix?

  You hold the arrow keys while dragging the rectangle?

• IMAQ several Kings

  Hi all

  I am trying to create a program that allows the user to draw a series of Kings (lines and rectangles) on a sample image, and then generate histograms etc for each of the Kings drawn and line profiles. I know that you can use CTRL + mouse down to draw several Kings, but my question is in each of these KING (descriptors) store in a table and then re-use of each collection of pixels for the analysis.

  So far, I have the code for TiTou (attached) and I was playing with separate Kings. I think my question is how exactly to use the descriptors of KING - how to use the table of them to find each line profile?

  If someone can give me some pointers that would be much appreciated

  If you draw your KING on the image directly, why don't you also clear the same way? Click with the right button on the relevant KING outline and select 'delete the outline KING '. This will remove only the selected ROI.

• How to draw a line without anti-aliasing?

  I need to create lines for the selected underline buttons in a video menu. If I create a straight line with the line drawing tool line is anti-aliased.   Shape layers are always smoothed, but the nature of the beast, if the shape is not exactly on the limits of the pixels.

  The question is not to disable anti-aliasing, which is impossible for a shape layer - the trick is to get the shape traced on the limits of the pixels.

  Unfortunately there is no option to draw lines on the limits of pixels, but because of some options new added by the Adobe creative team you CAN draw rectangles on the limits of the pixels by selecting the rectangle tool and choosing this option:

  Hi guys,.

  Part of my current LabVIEW project involves me using a video stream, and the user will have to draw several Kings on the power supply.

  I would like to be able to allow the user to use an interface buttons to control the creation and the removal of the Kings, as opposed to the rather rough "n" ready approach "hold the key ctrl + click. Ideally, I'd like there to be a button display 'Create KING' that will create a ROI (rectangular) image, which the user can then move and resize as they see fit. I would also like an option 'Remove the KING', where the user will specify (perhaps from a drop-down menu) what return on investment that you want to remove.

  I think that this can be done using property nodes, but impossible to achieve real progress on this. How should I go about this?
