Problems of scaling of the image

I use a PNG of 1280 x 720 for the background of my Flash animation, but when I play it in full screen, that image looks like shit. What is the best way to make images always look great when the film is furred? Should I use a 1920 x 1080 PNG image and resize it down instead?

Yes.

Otherwise detect full screen (via code that you already have) and the image of swaps on something you dynamically load more great.

The first answer is easy, but adds filesize to the initial download, the second requires more coding. Answer if you need advice on either.

  • With problems of scaling down the image

Hi there, I was hoping someone here may be able to respond to a query I have.

I am trying to create the next icon in Illustrator:

    envelope1.JPG

The Image was created in illustrator using the form and pathfinder tools, the problem I have is that when I come to the scaling down, this happens:

    envelope2.JPG

The strange thing is that when I scale the icon upwards it does perfectly as it should, but the problems come from scaling down.

I think it may have something to do with the size of the image, already, it's pretty small, about 50px everywhere. I try to get to about 25-30 px anywhere, but when I take them down to about 40px distortion occurs and is getting worse, because I as its size... I thought it may have something to do with the handles on the anchor points that overlap? But I'm not sure that I've never had a problem like this before, although I've never worked on this small scale before either.

Any help on this is much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Lionel.

In your palette of transformation turn off align with the pixel grid, before the scaling. Since CS5 Adobe did to be enabled by default when you create an RGB document.

  • Problems of exposure to the image of brushing.

I have problems with the layer of exposure. I want to use the Brush tool to paint, to adjust the exposure in some areas of the image. I started by importing an image from Lightroom as Formate of PSD, then once in PS, I see I have a picture with a lock on this subject, entitled 'Background '. I create an image duplicated the 'Background' image, and it is now unlocked. I click on the button of the exhibition, and a new layer of Exhibit 1 is created. I then select the Brush tool and try to make my changes using the Brush tool. Nothing happens to the photo. I noticed that if I adjust the exposure value to make it darker to see if it works, it changes the exposure for the set of images rather than the area I applied the brush strokes.

I made this function before, where I imported a RAW file Formate in camera Raw to the PS, then imported into PS not camera raw. This image is identified as layer 0. I can simply select the functions of the exhibition, a new layer of Exhibit 1 is created, and then I can easily paint exposure to the where I want changes applied.

I checked all the General stuff I read online, like making sure that I have some previously selected areas and have deflected all. I have RBG channels.

    Thanks in advance!

    Info:

I use Photoshop CS6 on iMac.

Exposure or one of adjustment layers are created to show their full effect on a layer. What you need to do is create the adjustment layer, set to how you want in relastion to the areas you want to adjust. You can either use a black brush and paint the areas you don't want corrections to, which is seems you do. Or you can invert the mask of the adjustment layer: fill it black. Then using a white paint brush in the desired areas corrected, that is sounds as if you want to do.

  • Urgent! InDesign CC, problems of placement of the image with Mac and Windows

    Hello

When I tried to place an image or move pages in another file, indesign gives the following error.

"The file does not exist, you may not, or the file is perhaps currently in use"

I tried renaming the file, copy the file or re-edit the images... Nothing has worked... I am convinced that this is a problem with the mac and windows integration...

How can I transfer files without problem from the Mac to the PC or vice versa.

    already solved...
    Mac OS permission issues.
Adobe customer service solved the problem

For more explanations and for your understanding...

    1. I create a template for my colleagues to work under Windows. Give them the files with a flash drive.

2 employees were working on Mac...
    3. I took the model in a flash drive and tried to place some pictures...

4 indesign gives me an error saying "the file does not exist, you may not, or the file may be in use by another application."
    5. I tried to recreate a link to images in document thinking "Okay maybe." it's a problem of link

6 indesign gives me an error saying "the file does not exist, you may not, or the file may be in use by another application."

    7. I have tried to move the pages in the document to another, think "might be that I can work around this problem.
8 indesign gives me an error saying "the file does not exist, you may not, or the file may be in use by another application."

    9. I tried to place another image to another folder

10 indesign gives me an error saying "the file does not exist, you may not, or the file may be in use by another application."

    11. I tried to rename the file and after that the evolution of the file

12 indesign gives me an error saying "the file does not exist, you may not, or the file may be in use by another application."

I guess that this time there is no confussion in your mind...

to cut the story short, it's a problem generated by authorization on Mac problems. It is resolved by defining the whole Adobe preferences folder and its contents to be read/write, not just read-only.
In Mac OS: [Drive] /Users/ [username] / Library/Preferences/Adobe
In Windows [drive] \Users\ [username] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe

also after you change these files for read/write, you must copy the files you worked on once again.

    Thanks for your attention...

  • Are there already experiments with FM 2015, scaling of the image to its original size in the HTML output

FM 12 provides the following procedure (as read in the manual) to see the images in original size in the HTML output. I did and was happy. But now in 2015 of the FM, the operation is no more.

    > >

In the Setup file (settings.sts) you can set the image (default size) the parameters width and height to 0pt so that images in the HTML output are displayed in the original format. FM 12 it worked fine. The result was, that the style to the statement tag < img > is deleted in the HTML code output, so that the images keep their original size. But now in 2015 FM it seems there is a bug. The same procedure has the effect that the style statement is in the HTML (is not deleted) and width and height are on 0x0pt. The result is that all the images are invisible. If I disabled 'Preferred size' images in the HTML output are always scaled down in a 'random' size, nobody knows where it comes and how I can trouble or spend that in 2015 scaling of FM.

    > >

Anyone who has ever even erperiences with the new 2015 FM?

    Hello

There was a bug in the publication process of FrameMaker for which we had planned a work around to set the width and height 0pt. Now we have fixed the issue when you set 0pt as the width images will no longer appear.

Now in your output images will seem to have the same size, such that they appear in the documents of source if preferred size is not defined. If this isn't the case, you can share your example of source document so that we can have a look.

  • Dungeon of problems even color in the image in Photoshop CS6?

Whenever I have to zoom, in Photoshop CS6 color changes between Moose photo color, a more contrasting color and then again. This happens when I also use the lasso tool tool room, zoom, etc. I would like to just help make this go away. Any information would be helpful.  I have included a video, with a random image. P.S The effect occurs with any image in RBG, but goes away when I switch to CMYK. He also happnes if I type in the text.Capture.PNG

In edit/preferences/performance go graphics processor advanced configuration and set to basic.  The video driver is maybe having problems.  You have the latest version of the driver?

  • Facilitate input/output to a scaling of the image?

I have an image with a keyframe on the first frame and the other on the last, and I have the image intensification on the last image. I'm not satisfied with how CS6 is scaling the image to the top, I would have to do more smooth. I do a right-click on the last keyframe and choose both ease in and also try to ease, although I don't see much difference. Which option should I use, and are there other options I should look into?

    Thank you.

  • Zoom and then zoom back in AS2 (no scaling of the image)

Basically, I want to know if there is a way to move from a larger version in something, and then seeing the whole picture in another frame. (By pressing a button)

Let's say here, it's a tree, I would bascially as (by pressing a button which I can do) to zoom out and see the entire landscape. Is there a way I can do this without actually changing the image size?

The premise of the zoom is based on scale, so if you are looking for something that does without changing the scale in AS2, there isn't.

There will not be any support for a pirated copy of Windows. I suggest you install a genuine Windows 7 on the computer and test the issue. If you face the same problem let us know so that we can help you further.

  • Problem to pass between the images in Flash

I had a problem with an interactive project of Flash CS5: when I navigate between images using gotoAndStop (1); the program has the following error message: Error #1009: cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. I think it's because as the first image that the will to doesn't have objects that have events in box 2 listeners.

What I'm hoping to do is return to the first image. Wouldn't be better to put everything on an image and work from there? This seems unnecessarily complicated.

It would be better to put all your code in class files or in frame 1 of the main timeline.

  • Creation of PNG to EPS then resizing/resampling/scaling down the image.

I need help creating a PNG image from an EPS file, then optimizing without loss of quality. And then, I would like to be able to resize/resample/image scale of 7523 x 2213 pixel to 325 x 90 pixels without appear pixelated. Help, please.

    msingson,

Vector illustrations is infinitely extensible, with the exception of the effects of rasterization: their resolution must be transposed by the same factor () to maintain the quality.

You can change the vector illustrations to deired in pixels size and then save for Web (unless you need as a CMYK), or export at 72 DPI to keep the size.

  • Weakening of the image scaling on white background

I do an animation intro for fotograaf maar with very large pictures inside 7948-4370. Adobe has no problem of scaling of the images of size 1920-1080.

When I resize the vertical images, the white background appears on the right and left side. The I have problem when I size a vertical image 1080 size and zoom very slowly.

When the images slowly expands, the right and left side of the picture begins to falter. The slowdown of the zoom, more it wobbles.

This problem is occurring even after that I made my sequence. Is there a way to reduce it?

I hope someone knows this problem and has a solution for me.

    Thank you very much!

Export the video instead of capture using a screen capture utility. Use a preset for YouTube. Then, we might be able to see it better.

Maybe it's the fact that you are scaling in full less than pixels. It is difficult to avoid in Premiere Pro, not as hard in After Effects.

  • PS Newb needs help with resizing the image and print several sheet

Hi, I am using PS CS3 to resize an image, I have so I can print to use as a map for a miniatures game.  I have no problem of scaling of the image to the appropriate size, but I can't understand how to print multiple image 8.5 x 11 sheets.  I thought I saw an option for such a procedure before, but maybe it was in another editing program.  If anyone has any ideas on how I could do this I would really appreciate hearing about them.  Thank you!

Illustrator and InDesign are tiled printing, like CorelDraw. Photoshop, this title is not, but may be a few script for this. In your case, the simplest solution would be to save the file in PDF format and have Acrobat print a tiled (Page scaling of parameter in Acro print dialog box). You just need to make sure that your page corresponds to several pages. Unliek AI and ID, Acro chop only stuff based on standard paper sizes...

  • Retina MacBook Pro + Cinema Display = 25% of the images visible when open

Every time I opened a picture, I see only 25% of it. I type Cmd +, Cmd - to zoom in & out each time. This is ridiculous. I think the problem might have something to do with the fact that the retina display has twice the density of pixels. It's just a theory, but I would bet money that he is the culprit. I just realized that the problem does not exist when I don't have my external monitor plugged.

Here's what I see on the monitor external 27 ":

    Screenshot 2014-10-11 11.11.02.png

Then after hitting Cmd +, Cmd-, that's what I see (this web form has reduced this image, but you get the gist):

    Screenshot 2014-10-11 11.11.07.png

Can someone tell me please how to avoid this maddening problem? I contacted the Support Adobe technique, and they cannot help me with this problem. They gave up; they simply ignore my emails at this point.

I use the latest version of Photoshop CC on a fairly new 15 "MacBook Pro retina with a 27" no - Thunderbolt Apple Cinema Display.

    Thank you

    Matt

Thank you! I was able to reproduce the problem by using a Setup dual monitor as you have described. I logged it in our database of bugs for a developer can take a look. Looks like Photoshop is confused when it comes to the scaling of the image correctly to fit the screen while you work with a retina and monitor non-retine. The only solution I have at the moment is to use the command-0 to force the image to fit the screen. I know that's not a great alternative to what you already do, but it is a minus button.

I also found that I got better results if I switched to tabs - sometimes opens the first image zoomed in, but after that, they would hold on the screen. If you can fit it into your workflow you can try it.
