Problems of sectors 3D graphic conversion

Hi all

I have problems within the Illustrator CC.  I have created a pie chart and found a tutorial on how to convert it to 3D.  Unfortunately whenever I have extrude and bevel it, nothing happens.  I turn no preview on... no change.  Nothing I do converts it into 3D.   It works fine on a copy of the CS6 I have on another computer.  Is there a setting is off or something?

Thank you

OK, I think I thought of her!  When I choose the table, I wasn't able to apply 3D... effect or any effect.  They were all grayed out.  The reason is, I've always had the window where I enter the card opening numbers so that it would not allow me to change when the chart is selected.  I hope that this explanation makes sense.

Thank you for your quick help with this.  Very much appreciated.

This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.  can someone tell me what I should do next?

    You left out which version of DirectX has been shown.

    As far as I know, your Intel 945GM should support DirectX 9 and because you have XP sp3, you must have at least DirectX 9 installed.

    I met the following, but it shouldn't apply to Powerpoint:

    Some such as the Intel 945 GM Intel video cards have a design limitation which may cause problems when you try to run the Source Engine games. 3D graphics kernel does not support transformation of material, light and the vertex shader to similar technologies, which is an important part of the pipeline of 3D acceleration. Instead, this functionality is emulated in software that can reduce the compatibility and performance with 3D games.

    I don't have a solution for you (assuming that DXDIAG, in fact, reports to have DirectX 9 or higher).  You can see if you install a new driver support, but if it were me, I would be first contact Acer technical support or ask your question in another forum as one of the following conditions:

    Intel graphics Forum: http://communities.intel.com/community/tech/graphics
    Forum PowerPoint: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/powerpoint (select the corresponding forum for your version of Powerpoint).  Include the results of DxDiag, including the version of DirectX.  If there is something unusual about the image that causes the crash, include this info as well.

    Normally, for notebook/laptop computer, it is better to get the drivers of the mfr of computer rather than the manufacturer of the device.

    Acer drivers for your computer are here: http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=535 (you want the Intel VGA for XP driver)

    Hello Lewie,

    Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    1. What is brand and model your computer?
    2. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?

    I understand that you lose your screen when you play a game. This happens usually if the installed graphics driver has corrupted or unstable. Therefore, I suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1: Run the tool material and devices

    Try running the next fixit and check whether the problem is resolved.

    Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

    Method 2: Update your graphics card

    1 open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click System and Security, and then, under System, click the Managerof peripheral . If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2. in the list of hardware categories, find the display adapters and select the device driver you want to update, and then double-click the device name.

    3. Click tab driver , click Update driver, and then follow the instructions. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    For more information, visit the below mentioned link:

  • Main problems to upgrade the graphics card in my Mac Pro in 2006.

    I am trying to upgrade the graphics card OEM in my Mac Pro 2006 to a Radeon HD 4870 1 GB graphics card.  I have big problems.  The previous owner recommended that my BONES 10.7.5 uninstalling and reinstalling.  I don't know how to do this.  The Apple website was no help with this issue.  The previous owner gave me a lot of procedures I've ever done before, including removing and re-creation of my RAM and using a Kext troubleshooting application.  Any suggestions you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

    a 4870 with 1 GB of VRAM is not a real Mac card (who had only 512 MB of VRAM). Unlikely to show an image until the login screen, if ever. Unless the seller has a 100% guaranteed working procedure to get this working, I recommend you return for a refund - it is not likely to work in your Mac.

    A true 5770 Mac or 5870 is the best approach for a 2006 or 2007 Mac Pro, because they are known to work with everything except movies under copyright, and your Mac is stuck in the 32-bit kernel and pre - 10.7.5 MacOS.

  • Problem with the latest graphics drivers Intel 82830 M graphics Satellite 1100

    I have a 1100 Satellite with the Intel 82830 M graphics card. The latest driver is version 14.7 which I just installed - icon of graph in the right lower corner of a multicolored square changes a blue screen when you install this, and the mouseover text says "Intel(r) Extreme Graphics.

    However, since installing it, my screen freezes everytime I start a game, or if I go into display properties & change anything. A hard reboot is required. Also, the startup process takes 2 - 3 times as long since this upgrade.

    Everyone knows about this problem? Does anyone know of a solution? I've seen a few posts on other forums about this, including some say that this problem came from XP Service Pack 2. Can anyone confirm this?

    Hello

    I assume that you have installed the driver for graphics card on the Intel site and you do NOT use a graphic driver Toshiba, which has been designed especially for the use of the laptop.
    Well, Toshiba recommend that you use the drivers from Toshiba. In this case, you should try to use the recommended graphic driver that you can download from the Toshiba driver page.

  • Problem with autoscaling after graphical zoom

    Hello

    I am struggling to find my error in reasoning, but so far has failed, and would be very grateful for the help.

    My problem seems to be very basic: I have a graph of control with zoom option enabled, for example rectangle zoom or zoom for y. There is a playground on the graph, plot zoom in part of the works as expected.

    Now I would like to restore the graph, that is, set it to full scale showing the complete route once again, using SetAxisScalingMode.

    Stupid enough he not always seems to work, the shaft is not properly set, i.e. that the enlarged part of the plot is visible even after affecting the autoscale axis...? I don't remember what I'm missing here.

    I have prepared a demonstration simple, based on the NOR sample userint\GraphAnnotations.cws, attached below.

    In this example, I made two small changes: 1) I have added a "restore" button to set the x and axis Auto scale value. (2) in the IUR, I changed the style of graphical zoom to rectangle Zoom (Zoom or to y)

    To reproduce the problem, press "Draw", zoom in on the graph so that the maximum and minimum of the plot are not displayed. Press the button restore, which will show the complete graph. Fine. But now zoom in again, press the button restore: now, it seems most do anything.

    Thank you!

    The problem is that when you set the mode to automatically scale the second time, it is already set to auto. Because no changes were made, the chart has no need to recalculate the scale. If you plotted instead of a new data point, you would see the autoscaling come back into force. A simple way to force it to recalculate the scale would be to scale to VAL_LOCK, then return to VAL_AUTOSCALE in the RestoreCallback. Because the value of the attribute is changing, a new drawing occurs which causes the Auto scale to recalculate.

                            SetAxisScalingMode (panel, PANEL_GRAPH, VAL_LEFT_YAXIS, VAL_LOCK, 0.0,
                                    0.0);
                SetAxisScalingMode (panel, PANEL_GRAPH, VAL_BOTTOM_XAXIS, VAL_LOCK,
                                    0.0, 0.0);
                SetAxisScalingMode (panel, PANEL_GRAPH, VAL_LEFT_YAXIS, VAL_AUTOSCALE,
                                    0.0, 0.0);
                SetAxisScalingMode (panel, PANEL_GRAPH, VAL_BOTTOM_XAXIS,
                                    VAL_AUTOSCALE, 0.0, 0.0);

  • Problem Dell M5010 severe graphic?

    Hi everyone, I have some difficulty to find the culprit of my problem and how to fix it.

    Not for long I was installing a program in my M5010 in compatibility mode, a few minutes after the installation of the screen became what looked like an old CRT TV on without entry.  I flipped the switch and rebooted, everything seemed strange fine nothing, but when I stopped him normal again once he did it since then.

    Since then, I tried several things. First I tried to re install the OS, nothing.  Then I tried booting without hard disk, always the same screen.  Also, I jumped the CMOS battery to see if that would reset the BIOS to the factory, but there is nothing, it seems to be stored in a non-volatile chip.  I also tried an external monitor, not always the same problem. After that, I searched and found that if a laptop overheating in some measure the graphics chip can become welded causing my symptoms, so I checked that, no, it was fine. My initial suspicion was a graphics driver in the motherboard doesn't work does not, and now, I am led to think something on this line is the problem because the problem is in the BIOS for, not only the operating system.

    I don't know is it common for this problem, but if anyone has any ideas what the problem and any information on how to solve this I would appreciate it a lot.   I have an external USB HDD cable, so I could connect an external HHD to the M5010, or take the M5010 HARD drive and connect it to another computer to put pilots in.   Thanks in advance and let me know what can be ideas.

    Oh yes, I met one of my computer science professors and we looked on it, and both knew how to fix, he agreed that it was in the motherboard (somewhere).

    Since you have nothing to lose, you can try the heat treatment of the card mother - remove the Board from the system and remove all removable parts (including the CMOS battery).  Insert the motherboard on a non-conductive ceramic stove and finally in an oven at 350 F for about ten minutes.  The Council can cool completely and install it in the system - it can buy you some time before, he fails again.
