Problems of the transition from Captivate 5 to 8

Hi all

I have just bought/installed 8 Captivate and Captivate 5 files conversion am projects. It's the first question that I've met and it's quite strange:

When I saw the project (using the options to preview Captivate [e.g., project, from this slide, then 5 slides]), the preview window appears and displays the slide in view of increased zoom so high I have to expand the window and change the resolution on my desktop to display an overview of all in one or two screens... (see screenshot below of the original preview window that displays; it shows only the top left 1/4 of the slide). The current draft resolution is set to 992 x 674 (don't ask why), but even if I have re-resize-width 800 and leave the aspect ratio, the same, it still presents in preview with this view of high zoom. I can't zoom in or out in this preview window.

When I view in browser or publish the project and display the SWF resulting, it displays normally as before in Captivate 5.

Someone knows how to fix this?

Thank you!

Kate

Hello

Is the same thing occurs if you create a new project? Maybe it's just a problem with the upgrade project.

If this also occurs when you create a new project, perhaps it has something to do with the settings on your computer.

See you soon... Rick

  • The transition from the bridge of one payment to another

    Hello

We have a customer who currently treat offline credit card transactions that that they have their payment gateway set to 'process (process manually via the existing installation) offline '.

Now, they want to put in place a bridge of the National Australia Bank (NAB).

Could someone provide suggestions as to how it would approach the transition from the bridge of one payment to another whereas BC only allows gateway to a payment to be selected at a time? In other words:

    1. Is it possible that the existing offline payment gateway and the new NAB gateway can coexist so that we could go through a test phase without interrupting the continuity of the customer with the treatment of existing credit offline transactions?
    2. Or do we have to "cut" their existing sales process until the new payment gateway is fully configured and tested?

Any comments would be much appreciated.

    Gavin

It is not that much work to spend from OFFLINE to NAB TRANSACT

I'm not sure, that you need to worry too much on the implementation and testing before to cut more (unless you have a really high turnover store and you want to be careful)

Perhaps you could watch you log in to your partner portal and reproducing the SITE you want to configure on (if you have an exact dupe). Then you can go about your tests on THIS site and get all tested and functional then cut on the settings when you are happy

    Good luck

  • Effect of movement not executed on the transition from State

I have the following problem using view States, of transitions and the effect of movement

I have a component panel and States state1 and state2.

Panel is included in state1 but not in state2.

When view state is changed from state1 to state2 I want to animate the front panel is removed.

However, if I put a motion effect in my state of transition that it never runs because the Panel is removed before the effect plays.

The only solution I found was to add a fade transition effect. This prevents the Panel to detach and the effect of movement is plays correctly.

What continues? Is there a documentation explaining this? This could be a bug?

Here is a sample application to demonstrate the problem. Panel1 has the problem and workaround Panel2.

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"? >

    " < = xmlns:fx s:Application ' http://ns.Adobe.com/MXML/2009 "xmlns:s ="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark" "

    < s:Button left = "300" label = "toggleState" click = "currentState = currentState == 'state1'? 'state2':"state1"" / > "

    < / s:Group >

    < s:Parallel >

<!-strange! 1 Panel is removed before the effect of movement time->

    < s:Move target = yTo "{panel1}" = "100" / >

<!-the workarount. With a mannequin fade effect panel2 stays visible and move effect is executed->

    < s:Move target = yTo "{panel2}" = "100" / >

    < / s:Parallel >

    < / s:Transition >

    < / s:transitions >

    < / s:Application >

What is happening here is the Panel is removed from the DisplayList at the beginning of the transition before the passage has a chance to occur. This happens by default unless someone tells the transition to remove the item at another time.

There is a special logic built into bland who knows when an element is removed from the DisplayList so that he knows to say the transition to weaken the element before removing it. This is why the workaround you mentioned works for your case.

You will notice that if you use:

The target fades out as long as his movement before retiring from the DisplayList.

Normally, in this situation the transition must know when to remove the item from the DisplayList and you can tell him that using the RemoveAction tag, for example:

    http://ns.Adobe.com/MXML/2009"xmlns:s ="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark">

Note that in this transition, I use a sequence and put the RemoveAction after the move, so the transition knows to move the item before removing it.

By the way, thanks for the great code example! When posting code on here is compile concise, complete, and I can quickly copy and paste into Flash Builder, I'm much more likely to focus on the issue.

  • problem with the transition and external image

Hello! I have a little trouble with the transition to a new state that contains an external image. I want a titlewindow to resize when the user clicks on a button and view an external image. the size of the external image is unknown until it is loaded, so I put the widths/heights to 100%. However, the transition "resize" does not know the size of the image in time and comes alive in a small rectangle...

I discovered how to solve this problem by deleting the passage and making the invisible titlewindow until the image is loaded (using the event 'complete'). Ideally, I would like to use the functionality of transition, however and am curious to know if anyone has any ideas on this point - perhaps triggering the resizing to start once the image is loaded? I can only find a way to display a transition through mxml - this can be achieved via actionscript?

When you use States and there is a tag This means that the child will be added to the display list. The object already exists (a new operation has been made about it). It may not be in a fully realized State first because it has not been added to the display list and therefore his complete cycle of creating the Flex framework has not been executed.

I haven't run the scenario I propose, so it might actually not, but I have another suggestion below.

You should be able to have in the State that when you are ready to load the image, img.source = url; should not give you an error. The question is, without the image being added to the display list, try even to load image from url and trigger the complete event? If it does not trigger the complete event, then you can change the States there.

My alternative is to not put the Image in the State, but leave it in your state of base with a width and a height of zero. Having the button set the source property of the image (or call the load() method). When the complete event triggers switch States.

In your , instead of having an AddChild, you'll SetProperty. Something like this (width, height would be similar):

Now, the transition must simply use the effect of .

    Hi W.Auld,

    Method 1

I suggest that scan you SFC on the computer that will search the corrupted system files and try again later start services.

The analysis may take some time, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows XP installation CD.

Description of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 System File Checker (Sfc.exe)

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310747

    Method 2

Temporarily disable the security software on the computer and try to start the services.

Important: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 3

If the previous step fails then I would suggest that you uninstall all driver software related to the camera from Canon to the computer and reinstall the latest version of the software driver from the Canon website.

and saw two buttons to switch the value of the 'State' to 'Normal' or 'photo', it resizes the component properly to the small size, but that goes back to the smaller size to the largest size, it does not play the transition. It just makes small to large immediately.

The strange thing is, however, that if I use a tag < s:HGroup > instead of < s:TileGroup > it works like a charm, so I guess that's not so much the custom component or skin that is causing problems.

When I put the transition of the size of the component itself instead of in her skin, then it works as expected, but I think that transitions should be defined in the skin and not in the component itself, right?

I do something wrong or didn't I just encountered a bug maybe?

It took me a while to realize it was. TileLayout organises its elements in a grid of 'cells' and each cell is the same size (the size of the largest component). Then, each element is placed in its own cell because the horizontalAlign/verticalAlign properties. By default, TileLayout a horizontalAlign = justify which means that extends the element to the size of the cell. In order to have an effect of resizing plays on the skin of the element does not really have any effect. He gets to work when the shrinkage, but fails more and larger, I guess because the increase in the width of an element affects all cells, while the lower has not.

So I think the right thing to do here is to either wrap a group around the Rect and mentioned target that you like, or the TileGroup.horizontalAlign left/center/right value.

Here's a simplified example of how you can reproduce it:

    http://ns.Adobe.com/MXML/2009.
    xmlns:s = "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark" >

            [Bindable] public var test: Boolean = true;
    ]]>

If you wish, you can ask about a bug, but I have the feeling that we would not be can not fix because probably you shouldn't use horizontalAlign = justify and change the width of the element at the same time.

You can check the type of hard disk online order volume by using the DiskPart utility.

Create a flashdrive bootable UEFI with RUFUS.

Plug it into an available usb port before you press the power button. Near the powr button and immediately start to tap the F9 key to enter the boot from the sources menu. Well well, its certainly possible to increase the RAM up to 8 GB of RAM.
Your case looks like a new RAM isn t entirely compatible or the module could be defective.

Toshiba says that the DDR3 RAM (1 066 MHz) 4 GB RAM PA3677U-1M4G module should be fully compatible.

The module PA3677U-1M4G should be the same as the module of Kingston KTT1066D3 / 4G
    You certainly need a module SODIMM DDR3 1066 Mhz PC3 - 8500 204 pins.
