• My Late 2009 27 "iMac has problems and vertical stripes

  Hello friends,

  I'm looking for help with my iMac. A week ago the display began showing scattered pixels and it froze when switching between desktops. At this point, I restarted and the screen came with vertical lines, made of strips of color slightly different at intervals across the screen. There are five of these lines. Sometimes the lines persist through start upward and stay on the screen. Sometimes, they disappear and reappear later. Sometimes my computer freezes with lines and the apple logo and a progress bar. They stay when I boot in safe mode and my bootable backup as well.

  Abdesslem Support recommended a Genius Bar apt. To diagnose the prblem. I took it, by explaining that I thought it was a video card or the issuance of the logic board. Genius Bar says it's probably bad Ram. I went home and started to test the ram. I tried each piece individually and as a couple. I always had problems. I ran Memtest 86 and Rember each for hours at a time and got no errors. I tried to boot into Apple Hardware Test, but it never loaded. The internet says I should boot from my installation discs, which of course, I have more.

  I fear that the cost will be too prohibitive to repair and so far, each local repair company I called said that they repair the vintage iMacs.

  Any advice?

  This is again an iMac 2009 end 27 "with 16 GB of RAM DDR3 1066 Kingston into 4 sticks of 4.

  Try to replace your RAM with all the new RAM. You can check that the CrucialAdvisory tool, or OWC. Both are reliable suppliers. If the new RAM works fine. If not, return it.

• Wait for the rotation - problem with vertical centering

  What is the event to listen to determine the screen shot? I swore I saw someone talking before but search brings nothing relevant.

  I use x are coordinates for my layout and I have my coord y the value 10, which is excellent in landscape mode. When I turn to portrait, everything is centered vertically, which isn't what I want. I guess I need to listen to the rotation and change my details, but even when I start mode portrait and deply then the app, everything is still smack in the middle (vertically speaking) of the Simulator. I can't understand why this is.

  I was not completely successful with my orientation, but this is what I tried and got some sort of results. the only thing that is a problem, is that the fonts are appearing (possible incorporation question). but the listener is in the code and so here's the function:

• Problem with vertical scroll bar of the block master detail

  Have a TC of canvas by tabs with 3 tabs - tab A, B and C

  Tab C contains a block of master child multi. Each block can display 5 records.

  C tab

  -> Master Block can display 5 records

  -> Child block can show 5 records. Child block has nearly 20 columns to display. It is therefore a big canvas

  It comes with vertical toolbars on Master Block and child block.

  The horizontal toolbar works very well.

  But if there are more than 5 records, we are not able to scroll the vertical toolbar.

  Remember reading somewhere that for a block of single bar scrolling can be active. Please specify if this is correct and indicate what are the appropriate actions that we can take.

  You have a separate master and detail block, right scroll bar?

  If so, then which bar scroll creating problem for you, master? detail? or both?

  Make sure you have the block with the appropriate scroll bar card, it can possible you have set the bar of scrolling detail with master block and main scroll bar with detail block.

  It is not correct.

  You used the scroll bar with individual block. There is no restriction.

• Problems with vertical expansion DIVS

  This question bothered me for a while. I was not able to find a solution on the web at the moment. And Yes, I am relatively new to CSS!

  I have two DIVS, side by side, in a wrapper DIV (shown in purple line) to hold them in place left and right. There is also another outer envelope (called '.main", orange line) to contain the entire table centered on the page.

  What I want is for the DIV text expand vertically to accommodate any text overwhelmed in the event of differences between the browsers made.

  With this in mind, if I have to delete the specification of the text height DIVS (.featureleft and .featureright), the lower edge of the DIV tags will collapse upward until they connect with the last line of their text content, which is of course what I want, because it means, of course, if I add more text the DIVs will be expanded down to adapt to the additional text.

  However, when I remove the specification of the height of the packaging (".wrapper", shown in purple), the DIV .wrapper collapses up until its own line from the top, disregarding its own content (.featureleft and .featureright). In other words, it behaves as if it were an empty DIV.

  Why does this happen? Why he was unaware of its content? Thank you-

  Why?  Because your wrapper div contains floating elements.  For open lever, apply overflow: hidden to CSS of your wrapper.

• help with a problem of vertical scroll bar with a list item

  Hello. I have a < s:list > base using an XMLListCollection as there the data provider and a very basic itemrenderer. When a row is clicked in the list a function gets the list.selectedIndex then fills some text with more xml data fields. everything works fine... the problem I have is that the vertical scroll bar on the list seems to be "clickable" - as a line in the list. the scroll bar Scrolls normally but when he clicked on the selectedIndex property becomes-1 which is not useful b/c, the value-1 is passed to the XMLListCollection.

  The default value for SelectedIndex is - 1.  If you have not selected all the items in the list, then it will always return-1.

  I am currently using:

  I need to use an optimization of the resources that I need to set the background color and am targeting the OS4.5.

  If I hard code the scope of optimization of resources to a specific height, scrolling works properly. But how to calculate this?

  e.g. vfmHeight = displayHeight - bannerHeight - statusHeight

  It used to work fine if I added the listField at the mainManager. But I can't control the color of background than 4.5.

  How are you world this problem (in 4.5)?

• Need help - how to open the 2007wfp cover? Monitor has intermittent problem with vertical sync.

  To open the lid of my 2007wfp monitor I removed the 4 screws located on the site where the monitor gets attached to the bar, but the cover will come off the coast. There must be some tighten hidden somewhere, which I couldn't find.

  Does anyone know how to open the box?

  Is there a manual to repair available somewhere?

  So I a trying to fool here.  I have a unique textArea.textFlow that contains a mixture of text and images.  The text is in line with what seems to be the bottom, while the images appear as top alignment... How can I get them all be lined up at the same level?

  Images are aligned so that the bottom of the image corresponds to the baseline of the text. In this case, I think that the background of the image - the image contains text, and the text does not have descenders. It's just a guess, but it explains what you see.

  You can adjust the image upwards & downwards from its default position by using the baselineShift attribute. Something like should help. If it is not practical to apply it in the XML file, you can apply it in ActionScript directly to the InlineGraphicElement.

  Oracle tutorials are usually centered on Unix, because Windhose is an odd man out, so they do not discuss.

  Tip: oradim is documented and has a help = clause of y.

  IIRC there is an option in control database (in the part of the interview) that automates everything.

• Vertical scrolling UI problem

  I'm just facing an interesting problem with vertical scrolling. All I need is to have a static text as a header that is always on the top of the screen. Everything under it is inside VerticalScrollManager.

  I put it in place and it worked for OS5 and lower. Now, I tried in OS6 and it does not work so this code is probably not the ideal. Could someone corerct me if you please.

  I recommend you to install the driver of HP, if available for your version of Mac OS X. You will need to install the driver of AirPrint and sometimes the HP driver work better than AirPrint.

• Cascades - Vertical alignment does not work after you add a higher container

  I am facing a problem with vertical alignment... Trying to play and to imagine a way to transfer my apps to BB10, I wanted to create a page layout and Center my components in the center of the screen. I created the necessary containers and things, it worked, but then, my baggage was obviously only in the center of the screen too.

  So I decided to add a top-level container that would hold only the background. But then, my content is not centered (in the container for the child). I do not understand why and I don't know I'm missing something.

  Add an empty container with spaceQuota 1 down. It will take all of the remaining space.
