Problems syncing with GPIB Read on a SR400

I'm using LabView to control a meter of photons SR400 of Stanford research systems. Can control the box easily, I'm having problems with reading the correct data in the box of. I get incorrect values of 0 ', 6 and 134' rather than real account numbers. I see the correct values on the display screen, but GPIB reads bad.

It's what I've tried and what I've learned:

  • At first, I was getting random 6 error LabVIEW (from reading GPIB) which would prevent my program to run. To resolve this problem, I put a case Error statement after she and simply write the word ERR in my data file and move on to my next point data. This stopped my cessation program, but started badly reading the values using reading GPIB.

  • The SR400 takes data for N periods on two channels, A & B. The first column of the channel A every 6 seconds and the rest of the columns on both channels would be regular values. However, the problem got worse and my first column of the channel began to write 0s, the second column of the channel A would be 6 s with some 134 s and the rest of the columns would be nice. But, if I had only 1 time for each column, I now have data lost on two channels A and B. A channel would be of 0 s and channel B 6s and 134 s.

  • This problem is sporadic. I can't control when it arrives. Today he works. Yesterday's didn't.

  • It seems to be a timing issue, but I don't know what I can do about it.

My questions for you are:

  1. Is it better to use GPIB or VISA to communicate? I use GPIB cabling, so be it.

  2. How can you correct problems of timing in GPIB?

  3. Any suggestions on how to improve this?

I joined code of 8.2 and 2011. I'm trying to convert our code in 2011 to see if it solves the problems. The VI with GPIB Read is CollectData/TakeData and it is called by a VI, where he gets called frequently, but the reading and writing of all MTP recharge time is done by data files CollectData/Take.

Start by lowering of the busspeed. I think that 1 uS is more fast enough for the handshake and then I would disable autopolling.
You can do it in Max settings for your gpib card.
Low level visa uses gpib, but never use it directly. In any case the speed is completely determined by the slowest device on the bus, complaining the sr400

    One thing to check is the parameter to sync music on settings of music from the iPod screen.  Here is a screenshot showing the screen.

    Perhaps the box sync music got disabled for some reason any.  If it is not checked, the iPod is currently set to manually manage the music.  It will always 'sync' when it is connected, but the content does not sync automatically. However, existing content on the iPod.

    Help! I'm new to Blackberry and tried to synchronize my 9000 "BOLD" on my Mac (Entourage). My computer does not even recognize my device. I read a lot of posts in this BB site, the PocketMac site and Apple's site, but there is no definitive solution to this problem.

    I installed the latest version of the PocketMac and have also installed the recommended update. When I plug the USB cable from my phone to my computer, it tries to sync but I get this error:

    This error almost always means that PocketMac struggled to find the device for one reason or another. I have included an article that should be very helpful in this work.  My experience is that uninstalling and reinstalling PocketMac, followed by deleting .kext files (as described in the article) and then the installation of the update of the driver will give the best results for you.  Please also restart the computer when you are prompted, and then at the end of the process before trying to synchronize.

  • serious problem sync with Palm TX

    Hello.  I was not able to sync my Palm desktop with my handheld.  I use a USB cable and it syncs only until Documents on section GB appears in the window of your handheld during synchronization.  Then it crashes and a message appears saying as the entire synchronization does not back up.  Also, at this time there I can't close out of the desktop version and must use the window Task Manager to close it.  I recently had a virus and may still have the remnents of it.  Do you think this could be the problem?  Also, I thought I could solve the problem by doing a hard reset and the only thing that was an empty hand.  Synchronization even freeze took place after the hard reset, as was done before.  Any suggestions of a good expert out there?  Thank you

    First disable DtG pipes to complete the synchronization on the rest of the PIM.

    Then see if you can reinstall DtG (process starts on your computer).

    Also note the FK column preview of the DDL order! they are wrong! I tried the same actions to Oracle 9 the problem with differences is the same, but the column in FK ddl order is just (at least to the table I checked).

    Thank you for pointing out these problems.

    I assume you are using the 3.1.2 more recent version of the fix. FK highlighted incorrectly is a unexpected side effect of an update that went into this release.

    I connected a bug on the incorrect order of the FK columns in the preview of DOF for comparison/merging of views.
    It seems that this problem occurs if the referenced primary key columns are not in the same order as in the Table definition.

  • Palm Pre is no longer syncing with Google Calendar

    I had my pre for 4 to 5 weeks, and when I got it, I configured the calendar to sync with my Google Calendar.  Everything worked well.  At one point, he stopped synchronization.  If I add something to the calendar via Google, I do not see on my pre and if I add an event on the pre, he never appears on Google.  Of course, I tried the option sync nothing helps.  I don't know whether or not this happened around the V1.1.0 update.  Is anyone having problems syncing with Google Calendar?

    Hello Bartman,

    You can try remove and add the gmail account to the pre.  If this does not work, try to create a test gmail account and add it to the front.  This will tell you if your email account or the Palm Pre.

    • Sync with iTunes on a Mac or a PC requires:

    iTunes too old and too old osx to support necessary to have iTunes, you will need to update osx to update iTunes to work

  • GPIB read gel when running vi without light debugging... (it works with light)

    I have a gpib read that spits out two values to an offset. It is in a loop which is defined by the initial report final and the size of the stage settings.     It is resolved. It has nothing to do with the program. There was a problem of interference with another parallel machine. Once I got rid of this connection, everything worked like a charm.

  • How can I sync my music video with my reading in preview?

    So I have a problem-newbie in Adobe Flash Professional CC, my music video is out of sync with playback from the timeline. I want to have an After effects - like experience, where my reading 'line' is synchronized upward with the waveform that I see. Audio also plays when I start from the first keyframe and when I try to start a preview of later in the animation, the sound will only play at all. Right now, I have to drag the aaaaaaaaaallllll end of the track to the right frame until it reaches the end of the music, so that he cut out the music when I press CTRL + ENTER.

    It's really annoying to not be able to use the waveform in the timeline as a good indication where the music REALLY is, and I have to read from the beginning to be able to hear the music at all. Animation to music is just about impossible when faced with this.

    I found the solution!

    In the properties of the music to the title of 'His', the Sync Stream value. That will fix the wave being out of sync!

    If you have yet to drag all the way, it fixes a lot of things. I can even hear on each image preview.

    Duplication of audio content seems to be a concern for you. If you have a desktop Mac, open iTunes/library/display the duplicate items. You can view and edit tracks easily.

    If you do not have a Mac desktop computer, the question is a bit tricky; There is no way to detect mp3 duplicates except manually.

    The good news is that the majority of your data bloat is likely to be in the 33 videos. I could most of the videos of archives and see what happens. (I have banned all THE videos of my iPod Touch and I couldn't believe how much I got space).

    What, in particular, looking to sync with the Mac iCloud? If you mean things like Contacts, calendars, Notes, etc., then you want to go in under the  system preferences, click the iCloud and connect to iCloud there with your iCloud ID. Then select which items you want to sync'd via iCloud.
