Problems to explore with website white background added

I'm working on simple cosmetic changes to a Web site that I did not build. More complex work than I thought especially to cause to try to understand the designer spent coding. I have a knowledge base and was able to make the necessary changes. Except in Explorer, there are white boxes behind my links in the header. The background used to be white with blue text, I spent the. Works fine in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

The site is: iflygillette.com

Anyone has an idea on how to solve this problem? You can see the screen shoot below. Our slideshow of banner ads will stop also after a single loop on explore. I read through the code until I'm that sleazy. I'm not sure. Thank you!

Your banner is a Flash animation that cannot be seen by iPhones, iPad, iTouch, Android or any other browser/device that doesn't have a Flash player.

You can change this to a jQuery banner rotation.  For examples, look at jQuery Cycle2 or Wow Slider.

In your SpryMenu.css file at the bottom, there are hacks for older IE browsers.  Currently, your background color is set to white.  Change this value.  Register and download the stylesheet to your server.

    It's probably somewhat similar to these problems of crazy object.

    Sometimes copy/paste works because it takes your code on a VI that could have a corruption and put in a cool VI.  In your case, the corruption could be linked to the control itself and he just copied over in the new VI.  Money controls are a relatively recent creation which added some fancy appearances.  They don't seem to be the style that is most likely to have some behind the bugs of scenes from the styles of controls that were longer.

    If you have a shared services provider, or if a person nor jump here and wants to study, they want to can see your VI and understand what goes wrong.  If this isn't the case, I hope that what you've done has solved the problem and you can spend without return.

  • Print photos with a white background in indesign to

    I have been searching for an answer to this simple question on the web, but couldn't find an answer. Help would be appreciated.

    I designed a page in indesign CS5 for publication in a magazine. I have a photo with a white background. The picture is a photoshop image. I put it in indesign as a psd.

    On the screen, the white background merges with the indesign default color of white paper. No problem.

    I wonder if I have to worry when the page will be published in the magazine: if not perfectly white, the color of the magazines pages will show the edges of the images in the magazine? What I have to work in photoshop to make the background of my photo transparent so that the edges of the image do not appear?

    On the screen: no problem

    Screen Shot 2015-05-28 at 10.21.58 AM.png

    On paper:

    I'm afraid that the page will look like this with the edges of the photo showing if the paper is not perfectly white. Here, I changed the color of the paper in indesign in gray (color on the left). You can see the edge of the image with a white background:

    Cheers, Remi

    White is the absence of color and, consequently, ink. Make sure the background is perfectly white and you should have no problem because nothing will be printed.

  • Transparent image shows with a white background

    Hello

    When you try to use a GIF with transparent background as a model, it is important with a white background.

    I created the gif and transparent background in export for web use in Illustrator and make transparent white (I don't know if it is a particularly uneducated way of doing this, I learn).

    Thank you very much for any help, I am at your mercy

    Hi Benjamin,

    Try this: AI, save your transparent GIF in a graphic library (in the windows of the file menu), and then in the model, you will be able to select the image by tapping on the icon of the chart (then my libraries) and the image that you saved in AI will appear correctly in Comp.

  • Flash animation opens in the browser with a white background

    I created a simple film and placed in an "Under Construction" page. The whole page is supposed to be black. When I open the browser one this white box where the movie appears, while it loads. I want the whole page to appear in black. Can I do something about it?

    I have set the scene in the black color. If you can tell me that I have enter the source and the use of encoding, it would be much appreciated; I'm new to all this and the idea of coding made scared the beegeebees out of me!

    If this can help, the web address is;      http://dennislewdesign.com.au/

    Thanks in advance for any help you can give me

    If you specify a bgcolor parameter in the Flash to the incorporation of code that could solve the problem.   I don't see the currently set.  I'm not sure it will solve, but it can't hurt to try.  Normally, if you leave Flash generate the html code of the page, it includes the background color setting in the embed code.

  • Was a change made? : before the jpeg photo showed up at the upper-left corner of my screen, with a white background for the screen. The image now appears in the center of the screen, and the rest of the screen is completely black.

    By the way, when I put the url in Safari, it's the same as before, namely the image appears in the upper left corner, and the bottom of the screen/monitor full is white.

    You can try it with this URL to jpeg:

    Yes, it is a new feature in Firefox 11, which was designed to improve the readability of images. You can install the https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/old-default-image-style/, which restores the change if you don't like it.

  • Problem with the PrintJob background and default

    Hello, I have a problem with PrintJob - print in pdf format.

    I want to print bitmaps with transparency and vectors.

    I checked all the options and still have a gray background under the bitmaps and vectors. This is the background color from scene.

    It seems to me that flash is printing in bitmap mode no matter what I do.
    Anyone know how to print MovieClip/Bitmap without default background. I send to print bitmap/movieclip with transparency, but the output is always packed bitmap.

    var pj:PrintJob = new PrintJob();
    var sheets:MovieClip;// = new Sprite();
    var options:PrintJobOptions = new PrintJobOptions();
    options.printAsBitmap = false;
    var dodd:MovieClip = new MovieClip();
    stage.addChild(dodd);
    var pagesToPrint:uint = 0;
    if (pj.start()) {
        for (var i:int = 0; i < pages.length; i++)
        {
            sheets = new MovieClip();
            //sheets.graphics.beginFill(0xFF0000, 0);
            //sheets.graphics.beginBitmapFill(pages[i].getChildAt(0).bitmapData, null, false, true);
            /*sheets.graphics.lineStyle(0,0,0);
            sheets.graphics.drawRect(0, 0, pj.pageWidth, pj.pageHeight);
            sheets.graphics.endFill();*/
            sheets.addChild(pages[i]);
            dodd.addChild(sheets);
            try {
                pj.addPage(sheets, new Rectangle(0, 0, pj.pageWidth, pj.pageHeight) , options);
                pagesToPrint++;
            }
            catch(e:Error) {
                // do nothing
            }
        }
        if(pagesToPrint > 0) {
            pj.send();

  • Text Wrap, image with white background

    CS4 Mac Tiger - when using Quark, I am able to import an image (see image of Zebra head) with a white background (effectively a cut without a route clipping) and tell Quark to the text "wrapping" of the image regardless of the white background. In InDesign, seems to only be able to do if I actually change the shape of the box to resemble the image of the picture. Am I missing something, or this function does not exist in InDesign

    PS. bear in mind I do not always come the image and the design of magazines too Photoshopping does not allow date limit.Picture 1.png

    ID has some pretty sophisticated packaging options. Go to object > Clipping Path > Options... If you do not have a channel alpha in the image file, or a clipping path, choose edge detection and play with the sliders. A string created in Photoshop, where it is relatively easy to isolate the background will work best, however, 99% of the time, or by removing the background entirely if it is an option.

  • Open a PDF file with white background

    How can I get a PDF file to open it in PS CS3 with a white background?

    Once open, you can add a white background layer or you can flatten.

    PDF files can contain transparency, so a white background can be a change that cannot be done that after the file is open.

  • Items imported .ai graphics suddenly have white background

    I have restarted my machine just this morning, placed a chart .ai with no fill in my InDesign document that have probably 10,000 times since it came out and suddenly without reason the entire page of the .ai file area is white. 2 days ago, everything was fine. No change to anything. If I shoot an old file a month ago with .ai files placed as they are transparent as they should be. If I place one of the files .ai transparent which is already in the document again, it comes with a white background. It has now 2 instances of the same file exact .ai with all the exact settings of each graphic placed in InDesign and InDesign is suddenly made one with a white background and the other with a transparent background.

    Display settings are high quality with no checked item level.

    PDF file, made from the InDesign file indicates the graphic up again with a white background and original as transparent is not a problem of display.

    iMAC system 10.6.8

    InDesign 7.0.4

    12 GB of RAM with 8 GB of free

    Any ideas why this could happen suddenly?

    Display options when you place the I / PDF and choose transparent background.

  • How can I add. PNG images for models without getting a white background?

    I have problems with the image field when I add a .png image, which does not have a background, he appears with a white background. Is it possible to use images in templates, so you can stack them on something else?

    image.PNG

    Hi, you can do this but only with a PNG with a palette of 256 colors (perhaps as well GIF) so does not receive a lot of use, good enough for the image buttons, etc, but could be allowed for your image as it is not that a large number of colors. Otherwise, radzmar suggestion would be the best approach.

    This is the link I was tring to find (in your previous thread) which tells how to do it using GIMP (a free image editor), http://smartforms.business.gov.au/DeveloperResources/Pages/HintsandTips.aspx , but that I have uploaded here comes Photoshop (in photoshop, it is called an indexed png).

  • White background behind the text in Design view

    I use DW8 for a few months now, and today he has decided to
    give me a headache. For some reason, all the text in Design view is
    display with a white background - not terribly boring for most of
    the text, but horrible for the text that actually * is * white!

    It is not a problem of css or something like that; in fact, my pages display
    very well outside of DW. Is there a place I can 'reset' the
    creation mode? Mine is broken!

    SHE FOUND!

    Turns, the problem was with some CSS which was intended to set the IE double margin float problem. I had a div style to ' display: inline ' to fix the double margin and makes somehow all the text background noise white... but only in the browser of DW. To resolve this problem, I created a file iehacks.css, put the code in this file and then linked to the file online hack in a
