Currently, I run the design and the Web Premium CS6 on a first generation MacBook Air and want to buy a new MacBook Pro. How will I know if I can install my programs on the new Adobe computer? Because I know that there is some sort of limit.

Also, I had to install the software twice on my computer before because I had to restart the computer. I don't know if this affects the limit.

You are allowed to have two facilities activated, so it shouldn't be a problem with facilities to work on both machines.  If by chance you somehow tied up two activations for a machine you can have Adobe support help solve this cat thrue.

How can I know weather to install any program in the 64-bit or 32-bit section?

    Hello DaphneanEpiphany,

The application that you are installing will sort it out for you. Unless the software is told explicitly 64-bit in the box, you can be assured that the software will be 32-bit.

If you are running a copy of Windows Vista (or 7) 64-bit operating system will install the software in the right folder so I don't worry about this.

  • "You must be logged in as an administrator to install this program" error when I AM logged on as administrator. possible problem with TrustedInstaller security

I am logged in as administrator on the single computer.  I try to install Net Nanny, which claims to be compatible Windows 7.
The first time I tried to install it I got the error, simply, 'access denied '.  After several attempts with the same error, I rebooted in Mode safe mode with network and then got the error that the Windows Installer Service is not accessible.  After some research, I discovered that Windows Installer is not available in safe mode.
So I booted in Normal mode.  Logged as administrator.  Tried to click with the right button on the installer downloaded for Net Nanny and ran as administrator, the connection of the administrator.  Now I get the error, "You must be logged in as administrator to install this program."  I am.
I closed all firewalls, anti-virus software AND turn off the UAC.  I checked the compatibility AND security for the download tab and it is configured to run as administrator and I tried to run in several modes of compatibility.  I still don't "You must be logged in as administrator to install this program."  No matter what I try, I still get this error.
I used the command prompt, type msiexec.exe / unregister, and then msiexec/regserver.  No new results.  Still the same error.

I called Net Nanny press SEVERAL times and they will know that this is a Windows problem, because this is the first time that they already got this error.  They had me to download another file on a mirror site.  Not always the same error.  People what I'm doing wrong?  I was able to successfully install other software.  Thanks for any help!

UPDATE * I am researching always this.  This would be a TrustedInstaller security problem?  If this is the case, is it possible to fix the TrustedInstaller or turn it off?  The big question, is that I want to turn it off?  My first thought is 'no '.  However, this software is listed on the Microsoft site as being compatible with Windows 7.  Therefore, an application that is 3rd party that is accepted by Microsoft.  Wow, I'm confused.  Don't know what to do here.

    Hello carpetfresh,

A test, I temporarily disable user account control and then see if you can install Net Nanny. If so, we know that UAC is what is causing the problem with the installation.

    1. access control panel user to the Start Menu-> Control Panel-> user accounts and of security for the family-> user account

    2. click on the settings of the user account controll link.

    3. move the slider to never notify

    4. click OK for the changes to take effect

    5 reset.

Once you have correctly installed the Net Nanny, then back to the control panel and reactivate the UAC.

Answer please come back and let us know.

  • Impossible to install several programs - error with the Windows Installer package

I can not install the following programs:

    Dropbox
Error message: "Dropbox requires administrator rights to continue, but could not raise (an error unexpected advapi32::GetUserName(t.r0,*i1024))."
I successfully installed by running the installer as administrator, but it is not recommended to Dropbox.
Also, I could not uninstall, the following error appeared: "Launch of installation error". However, I could uninstall tool to uninstall CCleaner.
    ESET NOD32

Error message: "error 1723 . There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your provider staff or support package. »
Can someone help me with this? I tried to look for specific solutions for each program (not), but since this is the case with more of an installer, I guess it's a Windows problem...
I tried the command sfc/scannow running on the console. Also, I used Microsoft FixIt but had no luck.
I use Windows 8 Pro (upgrade of Windows 7) on your laptop from Dell (N4110).

Found the solution on the Steam forums, there is no need to refresh or reinstall the entire system.

To resolve this problem, you have set the appropriate permissions to the user in the folder below.
    User name\AppData\Local\Temp C:\Users\

I don't know if the definition full authorization could be a security problem, but I * think * it's ok because it is in a temporary files folder.

  • When tried to install a program using the CD, the system restarts with a blue screen

Original title: Running XP Professional, software installation problems

I am running XP Prifessional, (on a common (i Mac) with Intel dual owner.)  When I try to install new software (from a CD), when the Installer starts up I get a "blue screen" for a moment, the system is restarted.  Even when I go into the control panel of the installation program does the same thing.  Installation CD runs on the Mac side.

    Hi PHiday,

    1. you see an error on the screen?
    2. what program are you trying to install?

Step 1: We recommend that you copy the contents of the CD to a folder on the desktop and then try to install the software. To do this, try the following steps:
    a. Insert the CD into the CD/DVD drive.
    b. Click Start, click my computer.
    c. right-click on the CD/DVD drive and click Open.
    d. Select the folder or the installation file and copy.
    e. right click on the desktop and click New-> new folder.
    f. in the new folder, right-click and click on paste.
    g. once the program is saved, open the installation file and continue with the installation and check if the problem persists.

Step 2: If the problem persists, check the event logs and back view details

In the article I posted above, he says mscoree.dll could fail to update during the installation of .NET framework 4, and the Setup program may not be aware of it. Go to your windows system32 or syswow64 folder and check the properties of mscoree.dll - if it's version 2.0 instead of 4.0 then the .NET framework has not been installed correctly. See this article for more information.

I checked mscoree.dll in my system32 folder and in the properties-> details, it indicates the version of the file / version of the product is 2.0.50727.4927 and last modified on 06/10/2009 16:40. Several messages later, one of the "nbeerbower" users seem to have found a solution:

Hey everybody! I had exactly the same problem! In fact, none of my programs using .NET 4 would work! But I searched the internet to fix this bug.

The problem is the result of .NET 4 installer never update .NET 2 mscoree.dll. So, here's the new dll and some instructions on how to solve this problem.

    http://www.Megaupload.com/?d=MBCL8TKC
(if for some reason any you do not approve the download see here http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/vssetup/thread/a09baa85-635d-420c-a88a-de05f75c8140 to get otherwise)

Hi, I'm nbeerbower. I have trouble with my .NET 4.0 and it generated an error 2908 Installing XNA which is necessary for terrariums.
The problem is, because for some reason any .NET 4 does not update .NET 2 mscoree.dll.
Here is a "kit" to help you fix it.

    1. open take Ownership.reg and add registry keys. This allows you to easily replace mscoree.dll
    2. go in Windows/system32 (if you have a x 64 OS also do the SAME procedure in the Windows/SysWOW64 folder)
    3. find mscoree.dll and right click and take Ownership(you can alsocheck properties and see version, if it's 2.00 then this fix will work!)
    4. replace the included mscoree.dll
    5. repeat in SysWOW64 so you have a 64 bit OS

    Have fun!

    -nbeerbower

P.S., Make sure that you restart your computer after!

This solves the problem for users, but I have a problem. Of course the Megaupload link no longer works and the other link.

    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/vssetup/thread/a09baa85-635d-420c-a88a-de05f75c8140,

    also has links; This, specifically:

    2. Rename mscoree.dll.  It is a real pain.  Go here for the instructions (not for the fainthearted): http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/setupprerelease/thread/150d05c4-4df4-47ec-b7a6-a66f3a55cd08

It can also be connected to the issues I had with installing the .NET Framework v4.0:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-windows_programs/NET-Framework-initialization-error/21d069d4-44b7-403a-9e1f-de6d75ffdc36

Any help or the other problem is appreciated. It seems that other users have solved the problem, so there is probably a solution hidden in one of the threads that I missed.

Hey there fellow. From the outset, I would apologize for bumping this thread if the OP found a satisfactory solution to their particular issue - as well as an apology to resurrect a debate closed if it's already been resolved.

I came across this problem, try to run a particular game that required the .net framework version 4; a game that I had literally played earlier the same day. I use 32 bit Windows 7, so that the details of my solution may or may not be applicable to your situation. What I did to fix my problem was simply to repair my installations of .net Framework extended and .net Framework 4 Client Profile. After this, I restarted my computer, uninstalled my XNA Framework and reinstalled. After that, the game starts and runs without a problem.

Not sure if my problem was an exception or if it will help someone else situation, but I thought I'd post my experience just in case it would be of any help. Good luck out there.

  • Problem to install a program in Windows 7 Home

I want to install a program developed by Medicare and necessary for my business.  It is a program more former who said "in order to use this application, you must have installed on each PC that will use this .NET application framework (at least service pack 2 - 1.1 sp2 1.1)".

Currently I have .net 4.0 (on Windows 7), which if I understand correctly it is backward compatible.  When installing the program, I get the error message
"Microsoft .NET 1.1 has known compatibility issues".

Asked about this, I checked for solutions online.  None are available.
    Details of the error message:

Description: This software has known incompatibility with IIS services on this platform.
    Signature of the problem:

I'm just a user, not a programmer.  I have no chance, or is there a work-around (which will not require to spoil me the rest of my programs)

    Thank you, Dennis

    Problem solved.

I was able to overcome the difficulty simply ignore the warning initial incompatibility with the installation and click on "Run".

    Hello

Try the methods provided below and check if that helps.

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

Try to boot in safe mode with network and check if you are able to boot to the desktop.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

If you are able to start the office try to download and run a system scan using the Microsoft Safety Scanner full and check if that helps.

    Microsoft safety scanner

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note:
The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
