How can I transfer music from my iPod to Windows Media Player?

WMP is not built-in iPod support, so you will need to use another media player, such as iTunes or Winamp, to get the music from the iPod to the PC (I don't know if iTunes will allow you to do, but Winamp will certainly be).

If you then copy the music files to your personal music collection, they appear automatically in the WMP library.

  • Music in Spotify, iTunes and Windows Media Player

Well, I tried to use my programs of music on my computer for about a week and a half now, and that they won't play all my music. Not at all.  I went to support these programs, but they did not really help. I also checked to see if any of them were incompatible with my computer, which iTunes was the only one, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the version 64-bit for Windows 8 and still nothing.

I don't know if it's the sound of my computer, which I don't think it is, because it works for everything else except these three programs. And I have no idea why, and frankly, it's getting boring. I also checked my device manager and my sound system and everything is working properly.

Anyone who can help and give me some answers on this as soon as possible, it would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi JennaHarske

I understand that you have no noise while trying to play your music programs.

Here's a url with different fixes for this issue that might be useful.

    https://discussions.Apple.com/message/23448027#23448027

This url allows you to use Windows Media Player and no sound.

    http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000682.htm

Please provide the following information so that I can better help you.

    Did you upgrade to Win8?

What is the name of the sound card you are using?

Click Start, type "Device Manager" and press ENTER.

Expand the section "audio, video and game controllers".

Right click on your sound card, and then select "Properties".

    Go to the Details tab.

Select "Hardware ID" from the menu drop down.

  • How can I copy music from I-Tunes to Windows media player.

I understand that you can not download directly from I-Tunes music to a droid.

I have a lot of songs in my I-Tunes library, but want to copy everything on my windows media player, so that I can then sync them with my Droid.

I tried to open both my I-Tunes and a medical reading windows window and then tried to drag and drop each (a tedious taks for all my songs) song in the media player window, but he wouldn't.  Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

    How can I accomplish this?

What is the file type (or types) of your music files?

In WMP, press F3 to display add it to the library, make sure that the Advanced Options are displayed, add the folder that contains your music iTunes to the list and click OK. The songs that are in a format which WMP recognises, will then be added to the library.

  • How can I sync my ipod to apple with windows media player?

I see the media player has a synchronization function, but it is not picking up my ipod. I want to transfer music from my library on my ipod, but I don't want to use Itunes

Windows Media Player does not support the synchronization with iPhones and iPods - design and not a problem with your PC. You could pay to get 3rd party software that will allow him to work. My advice is to stick to iTunes for syncing since its free and will keep your software iPod and iTunes software updated together in the way that Apple intended.

  • I can't delete music files duplicate of the windows media player library

somehow, I have two of each song (different transmission speeds) on my wmp. Library. I have a lot of files. IM simply trying to delete all the songs in double with higher throughput. I think that sounds better right lower bitrate? If I have to delete them individually, it will take all day! Please can you hlp model?

    Hi kari skeins.

You can re-create the database of Windows Media Player and see if that fixes the problem. Follow these steps:

    (a) output Windows Media Player.

    (b) click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.

(c), select all the files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.

Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    (d) restart Windows Media Player.

Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

    (a) output Windows Media Player.

    (b) click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoftand then click OK.

    (c) select the folder Media Player and then click on Delete on the file menu.

    (d) restart Windows Media Player.

Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

  • XP, Windows Media Player tries to open each file and responds with, "windows media player cannot open the file.

I can't even go to open, ' Change / Remove Programs "Control Panel. Same shortcuts on my desktop are not open without WMP trying to open the first file. Why is it in the middle of everything? How can I disable WMP or stop trying to open all files, media files that are not same? • Problem with the display of a video frame in Windows Media Player 11 on Vista

    Hello

I am having some problems with the Windows Media Player 11 on Vista. On my XP machine, when I discovered a video frame by frame, it works perfectly back and forth. However when I try to play the same video on my Vista machine, the button to the front of the image works perfectly fine but the previous image button takes video from 5 to 10 frames. Since I use my machine Vista more and need this feature often enough, it gets boring very quickly. It is a drive problem (since the same player works great under XP with the same video) and can be solved with a patch or some sort?

    Thank you

    Hello Helloaamir,

Thank you for posting.  I understand the problem you are having, but I do not understand why in the need for these features.  Depending on what you're trying to do, may be able to use Movie Maker instead of it you also has characteristics of the image by image.  If you could include that you are using this feature, because I can give you a good alternative or possible difficulty of deliverance.

Looking forward to help you any further. Zack

  • Windows 7 - can't delete old photos, music and video files in Windows Media Player

using computer Windows 7 and current Windows Media Player - given to me after the mine crashed and burned.  Went through all the settings (have everything set up right after that) but I have files Photos, music and videos that belonged to the person who owned it before.  He left the area and while I don't want to show files (what they are - don't know, don't care) I don't want to get out of here.  MASSIVE amount of files.  No matter what I seem to do they will not erase.  I have tried everything I can think of short of wiping the thing and starting over.  Help! Suggestions - idea short of dumping in the trash (setting fire to him or by running a truck, ect...) to clean this thing would be GREATLY appreciated...

The best thing you can do with a used computer that gave you is to access the recovery partition and reinstall the default unit. Most of the laptops brand will have a reserved recovery Partition built into the main HARD disk that can be used to restore the computer to right-of-factory default. Usually activated by touching a certain key during the boot process or by using the software provided by the computer manufacturer.

Dell uses Ctrl + F11 at the Dell logo screen to initiate the restore process. HP uses a program in Windows 7, called Manager of recovery. Your system may vary depending on the manufacturer.

Don't forget to get all documents (including images) and any other personal information that you want to keep. Several key software product can be recovered with the Belarc Advisor before the restore, but you will need to locate the diskettes (CD/DVD, ISOs or exe) installation for each piece of software.
