  Maybe you had already moved your library or iTunes media folder to a different location? See the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library for steps to restore an old construction of the .itl if necessary. See Open a different iTunes library file or create a new one - Apple Support and make sure that iTunes opens the correct .itl to start with. If must be search the entire computer for the files of the form *.itl. You're going to seek one more recently changed before that you've apparently lost your media. I hope that everything is still there.

• Double click in iTunes doesn't work for a song

  I have iTunes 12.3.3.17 on an iMac running 10.10.5 Yosemite.  I have a strange problem where in iTunes, I double-click on a particular song, but the next time song.  The next song played depends on whether or not I shuffle defined or not.  If shuffle is set, the next song is random.  If shuffle is not defined, then this is the next song in the album.  I can double click on any other song in any list, and it will play.  It's the only song that I found that will not play.  Still, it climbs to the next song.  I can be in a playlist.  I can be in 'my music '.  When I double-click on this song, always plays the next song.

  Something that may be related or not... a strange thing happened when I was downloading this album on the iTunes store.  My iMac has encountered an unexpected error and restarted itself.  When I logged in, things are although had downloaded all the songs.  But I'm running into this issue with this one song.  This is the first song in the album.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thank you very much.

  The audio file may be damaged. Since you downloaded from the iTunes store, you should be able to remove it and then re - download the purchase without problem.

  updated my iPhone 5 yesterday to iOS 10.0.1 and also updated itunes to 12.5.

  You have to ask Apple why the design has changed. You should still be able to delete songs by changing your selection of synchronization and synchronize.

  Or you can delete songs directly on your iPad and other iOS devices, directly in the music app or via settings > general > storage & use iCloud > storage management > music

  From your description, I think you're talking about ripping, not burning, correct?

  When the CD is inserted, iTunes retrieves a "best estimate" track of the Gracenote database information.  If information is missing or incorrect, you can fix it via right click, get information on the track (s) concerned.  Make the corrections before the investigation period, and then the imported tracks will go into iTunes with the correct tags.

  You lose nothing of what you have stored somewhere.

  You cannot access another country's iTunes store, unless you are within the borders of this country, then you would not be able to re-download anything from another country.

  As long as you keep your content on your computer and save them, you will not lose.

  Try to burn the data to a new CD - R or CD - RW as Windows Media Player 11 does not support multisession recording.
