Problems with a 29.97 FPS Gameplay Montage

Hey! I have just recorded sequences using an Aver Media HDMI capture card. On a quarter of the way in the video, the audio goes out of sync. It's not only in first Pro CC. It also occurs in VLC media player. I tried to adjust the FPS of the video in the first and returned the audio in sync with video. However, the sequence was played in super slow mo'. Anyone know if there is a way to adjust the FPS of the video without changing the speed of the video? I know that this sounds like a stupid question, because the FPS is actually the speed of the video. Y at - it another way to fix the a / v sync problem without disturbing the tone of speed / audio video? Thank you!

I actually tried. I get the exact same results. In fact, I solved the problem. The entrance was moved to 29.97 FPS while the recorder has been set at a rate of lethality of 60 fps. Thanks for your help!

    Sorry if this has been discussed before but I couldn't find the answer.

    I use a camera Sony HDR-FX1000 with an external recorder card compact flash (Sony also) and I chose 1080i 24 p in the camera to shoot in.  When I pull my card compact .m2t files flash in my first Adobe Elements 3.0 data of the file shows that the frame rate is 29.97 FPS.

    Why Prime Elements 3.0 display 29.97 FPS when I chose 24 p in the camcorder?

    What should spec 24 p look like in elements of Prime Minister? As 24.0 fps?

    Interesting, so even though I'm moving to PrPRO I still have a problem with editing in 24 p?

    Lol PrPro offers what is called a Preset Desktop, which allows the user to set almost all the parameters of the sequence/project, match the pictures. PrE has a limited set of Presets for the most popular attributes only, and is not yet a Desktop Preset with adjustable attributes.

  • Problems with variable framerate and a specific codec

    Hi all!

    I recently downloaded the trial version of Premiere Pro, to test whether I should spend my editing software. (I used before Vegas)

    I am happy with the results I get, there are only two major questions:

    I record Gameplay, using Dxtory and codec 'PICVideo MJPEG 3 '. My PC is not a beast, but do I have to be more than enough for the tasks I want to do (running a FX9590, 980ti GTX and 16 GB of Ram).

    (1) However, my CPU is not able to maintain a constant framerate (no matter if it 30, 60 or 120, still dips down by 1 or 2 fps every few seconds)

    I also tested with Plays.TV (which is basically a worse version of shadowplay Nvidia). It records to a variable framerate as well.

    When I put the files in first pro, I notice that the sound is out of sync, after 10-15 minutes. It is not much, maybe not even for a second, but makes the useless video file. My solution was to put the videos in a tool called "hand brake" and re - encode with a constant flow. works perfectly fine, but it's literally the same as rencering 30 GB video. It takes forever.

    (2) this isn't really a problem with the first only, but I'll give it a try, maybe I'll find someone here who has experience with this: to simplify: MJPEG files are previewed first rose. No idea why, every codec I've tried so far worked. (PICVideo devs do not respond to me, even if I paid a f * cking much for their software)

    using a codec different would be an option, but I have not found one that offers the same quality/performance/file size - level yet.

    Body is not designed to change VFR (Variable Frame Rate) so problems... the conversion at a constant rate is the solution

  • Problem with SlingTV through Airport Extreme?

    I have a Motorola SB6141 cable modem, internet of Time Warner and an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station (later) for my setup. While SlingTV is not a great service, it was $ 20 a month and gave me what I need and has been much better than that Time Warner was in charge me for the same channels.

    Despite the problems of freezing SlingTVs or what not, for a while it worked. But one day a few months back it just stopped working. When you open the app, it either does not open or just turns and turns to be forgotten and never access the content. But if I try on my phone (Verizon LTE), or another network outside my apartment with the iPad or computer laptop, it works. So at home, I tried to go directly from the cable modem and right in the Apple TV (previously an Xbox) and when I do that it works. So really what it boils down to, is my Apple Airport Extreme Base Station router. If I'm either directly connected to the Airport Extreme Base Station (Apple TV ethernet to the router), it will not work, or if I use WiFi via the Apple Airport Extreme Base Station it will not work. But directly to the modem cable or on any network outside of my home, the service works.

    So in short, something about setting up Apple isn't allowing the Sling TV app to open or work on any device. I even did a rest of the plant and installing my Apple router once again, and the same problem persists.

    FYI - I use Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and all the Apple TV, TV shows, rental movies and content without ever having a problem with opening or streaming. This only happens with SlingTV when you try to access content on any device (iPad, Apple TV, Xbox One, iPhone, Macbook Air) via WiFi or Ethernet via Apple Airport Extreme.

    I tried to provide all the little details that I could. If someone could please provide a solution I would really really appreciate it! Thank you.

    Well first of all try to port forwarding. Slingbox I guess would use a similar to SlingTV montage... Unfortunately when I google for it I see just people having so many questions like you... no rigging, no answer they give up.

    It is the old airport of model, but the idea is correct.

    If you still have questions... There is a major problem... port 5001 is used by the airport for its installation...

    BTW: this is no bad thing because you also have a known problematic modem... SB6121 and SB6141 have major problems... do a quick search and you can find a lot of posts about this.

    TWC has also now use IPv6... that can ruin.

  • Dell Precision 7710 with NVIDIA Quadro M5000M problems with 3D WPF content

    I bought an upgrade for my

    M6700 Precision

    Our company has developed and uses software that uses WPF to render 3D content in a XBAP in Internet Explorer.  When I try to use it on the 7710, 3D content flickers when it is redrawn, makes it almost unusable.  The stats we can get our application, we can see that time of update for refreshment / current is about 45ms, while on most of the other PC, even those using the integrated Intel graphics card, typically 12ms.

    We used this software on a large number of PC without feeling anything as bad, which is obviously quite disappointing because the laptop should be able to view we want to hassle.

    As far as I can tell all our drivers for everything on this laptop are up-to-date.

    We tried using the NVIDIA Control Panel to force the laptop to use the High Performance Nvidia Quadro rather than the graphics card integrated card and it seems to be made while we were able to do, it shows the icon in the taskbar notification and which showed that IE was using the Nvidia.

    I tried tweaking pretty much all other settings I can think / see.

    I tried to use the Dell Precision optimizer to select different profiles with no luck.  The Dell Precision optimizer seems not really demonstrate the use of the GPU processor or any other stats to see with the GPU, which seems odd to me.

    I ran Diagnostics on the laptop available on the Dell support site.

    I searched the net and found a few examples of problems with Nvidia and WPF cards, but none of these things that we found seems to apply to our application.  We have desktop computers at the office where he works well with other Nvidia cards / best of all.

    In addition, the fan on the 7710 will quite difficult sometimes - hard that I expect.  I tweaked the power settings to move less, but it always seems to run the fan more that I think it should / would appear on my M6700 - or maybe it's just a fan of stronger.

    So I wonder:

    If anyone out there has experienced something similar?  If so, any suggestions on how to fix or things to try would be greatly appreciated.

    We solved the problem by making changes in our application software.  We still don't seem to be able to reach the same FPS as for the other GPU, which should be similar, but we're working on that also.  Perhaps because we are trying to run the application at 4K.  If anyone has a similar laptop and can provide details on the 3D graphics performance using any software comparative analysis, it would be great if they could share for comparison.

    Hello, I have the same graphics card, here's so what you right click anywhere on the desktop and select Configure switchable graphics starts an application then you must find the game or app you used to it using the graphics card Radeon and select High Performance, if the game or app dosent you usually run in the show high performance you can click on browse your computer until you find the game and then select and the value it is running on high performance, do NOT forget TO click APPLY, once's done it, you will need to right click and click on (graphics properties...) DO NOT click graphic properties, an application will run find graphic called Intel HD power save the configuration to the Intel HD application and select High Performance. Good finally got to where your battery icon is on your taskbar and select high performance, YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PORTABLE BRANCH IN addition to THE AC CHARGER for MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE.

    Another problem, indicated in diagnosis on a MX200 device tests, reporting problems of NTP. I tried to choose another NTP server - but this does not solve the problem, and it works with TC7.1.4. In addition to the time and date is wrong on the screen but OK on the touchscreen device.

  • I am having some problems with Windows 8 randomlly slow operation.

    So the other day I was looking through internet and suddenly my computuer has been very slow, almost like the FPS lag in games. When I turn it on and it works normal for a little while then becomes slow. I tried a lot of things like CCleaner, Defrag, Malwarebytes, for turning on and off and some commands cmd, but I can't remember which. Can someone help me with this problem.

    The problem with cleaning products, is that you are 100% guarantee that your computer will be slower after use.

    Here's why: your computer has cached information it needs (creates a temporary copy).  When you use a product cleaning, you delete the cache (temporary files) and it has rebuilt their brand new from scratch - which is slow (it's why he tried to cache if it didn't build them!) and your computer to get slower and slower, causes each time that 'clean you '.

    But I can't drag videos to the scenario. If I try to drag video only, it does not have too. I can only drag Audio files with drag Audio Only.

  • Problem with proxies frame rate

    Hey guys,.

    I love the new feature of proxy. But I am publishing excerpts from 4K and I discover that I am running into a few problems with proxy servers. I have some pictures of drone who were shot at 30 fps. I imported to the PP and changed to interpret them to 23.976 fps. I started to edit but I had some problems with reading, so I decided to create files of proxy for them. After I did and was finished, it was indeed pointing to proxy servers but they were playing their native rate of 30 frames per second and completely ignoring the fact that the original files were interpreted by PP to be replaying to 23.976 fps so of course everything has been thrown out of sync when editing in proxy mode. Is there a solution for this? I do this just?

    Sorry, interpret the film only is not currently supported for the proxies. Don't know if it will meet your needs, but you can try to leave the full resolution and Proxy clips at 30 FPS and insert Staples into a sequence of 23.976fps

    Let me give you a few basics. These are things that are not considered by almost everyone that starts working in the video, especially those who come from a print or web design background. Photographers are also victims of a flaw in their knowledge which is understandable because they have never had to deal with things like this before. Here are the facts.

    First Point:
    Video (and everything that comes from digital displays) are always arranged on a grid of pixels. No exception. You can never put a line width of single pixel on this grid of pixels and do appear as a single pixel line, unless it lines up perfectly. Nothing that is not precisely aligned to the pixel grid is interpreted. It is called Anti-aliasing. This means that if your 1-pixel thick line is to halfway between grid display will be the average of the values in this row and you end up with a broad line of two pixels on the screen with each line taking half the value of the color of the original line. In other words if you are not precisely aligned on the grid of your 1-pixel wide black line becomes a 2px wide gray line.

    Second Point:
    Video is composed of images that reading at a particular rate. Your screen also has a refresh rate. Display rate standard in countries that have 60 Hz electricity usually have a refresh rate standard 60 Hz or multiples of a whole number of this rate divider. In countries where electricity is 50 Hz (Europe), the refresh rate is usually 50 Hz. The video frame rate for video in NTSC countries (most of the world) are normalized to 29.97 FPS (there's a reason associated with the problem of broadcasting TV signals in color, but I won't go into that right now). The Standard in PAL countries video frame rate is 25 fps. When you choose a frame rate for your video project which is not the frequency of standard images for your area, you may rate for your video come into conflict with the cadence of your screen. This can cause perfectly smooth motion judder and there is nothing you can do about it, except change the refresh rate of your screen or lift it up with a new high refresh rate capable display or change the frame rate of your video.

    Third Point:

    The average human eye and brain have a property called retinal retention. These effects how we perceive motion. No matter what you do, most people perceive incorrectly flexible movement across their field of vision. Most of the time the brain tries to iron out things and your eyes automatically try and follow this movement. This effect is well understood by the great directors when they block shots and the great directors of photography when they put cameras if your eye is directed to the part of the frame where they want that to get you to understand the history.

    Fourth Point:
    There is a strobe effect that applies to all the movements. For example, if you watch an old movie on TV western, you will sometimes see the wheels of the car rotate backwards. Smart of an airplane propeller video phone can show you that strange Sword-shaped blades turn slowly or even backwards. It's the interaction between pace and movement. The only way to create videos that shows the movement correctly and in the right direction is to match the query of the cadence.

    Fifth Point:
    Work around the fine lines, turning it into a thicker lines is to disable interpolation. You can do in After Effects by selecting quality draft. With quality lit project, you will always have a thick black line of single pixel. This solves a problem, but worse the other. The problem of the stroboscopic effect. To make your single pixel with black line SOUPLESE you must match the query of the line to the frame rate. You move 1 pixel by image or 2 pixels per image or 3 pixels per image or 4. You cannot move to 1.4 or 2.8 pixels per image. It won't wok, it would never work.

    Sixth Point:
    Even if you perfectly fit the pixel grid movement, you can still run on the retinal retention problem and frame rates. Every Director of professional photography with a value of his day rate knows that there are critical speeds of Pan - speeds during which you can not move the camera in a scene and offer a scene that doesn't pan and look terrible. Jerking can be so bad that it gives people headaches and worse. The frequency of images the more cautious, be with the camera. When the video cameras of 24 frames per second were introduced a whole bunch of people came back with horrible images. Shots that run at 29.97 work at 24. Cadence, retention of the retina, strobe effect and your brain combined with no fixed focal point for your eyes to focus on and track combine to fault up to the shooting and of the query.

    The solution:
    When you want to animate a thin line, you're better off at 29.97 frames per second that anything slower. 30 is OK if you go never broadcast or DVD to watch on a TV. You can use an expression to control the movement, so that your line moves exactly an even number of pixels per image. Smooth long moves must be exactly to an even number of pixels per image. You have more options of speed at a higher speed. Even at a higher speed, you will encounter the problem of the sixth Point.

    The evidence:
    Any problem of smoothing by giving you the discount gray lines load the rendering of your lines animated in AE and step as part of an animation at the same time. Baring any cache image and to make the issues I bet that your animation will run without difficulty from one image to the other.     If you wish to reverse the direction, you can add a sign less in the final table or apply the term of anchor instead of position. These expressions take the initial starting position of the layer as a starting point. Both are moving to 4 pixels per image. To start and stop the movement, the simplest method is to split the layer, add the expression, let the layer move, then divide the layer again and delete the expression. If you are handy with expressions, you can bind the movement to layer markers, and then just move the markers for start and stop, or even reverse the direction of a single layer.

    If you don't want to mess with all those unbreakable rules then jack up motion blur and uses a higher cadence with thicker lines and hidden defects. There are no other solutions.

  • Problem with audio video

    Recently, I downloaded the trial version of Adobe first Pro CC.

    After recording a video with a friend I put it in the first to notice that the audio was falling behind the video. Lets say there is an explosion. You would see the explosion and then to 0. 5 seconds later you'd hear it. At the beginning of the video, it is not noticeable. But as the video goes on it is still worse and worse. This happened since I used it. My friend helped me with setting but it didn't help. When I recorded a 2 and a half minute video, that the audio would be nice, as soon as I record a video of 10-30 m audio falls behind. My friend suspected it could be the transmission speed of the audio. I changed my microphone, headphones and the setting sequence in the first 16-bit 480000Hz, that didn't fix it. When I discovered the original video in windows media player, it is fine. The video is recorded at 1080 p 60 fps.

    Don't forget I use that first for a week or so and only know the basics. My friend has it on his mac book and has not had any problems with it.

    I use windows 8, first is up-to-date.

    Any help is appreciated.
