  I use the first Elements 10, on win XP sp3.

  I started editing a month ago to create family video and it woked perfectly.

  last week, I captured one minute 16 video from a camcorder mini dv panasonic with windows movie maker (I don't have a firewire card and it worked fine on USB cable)

  the film is 16 minutes and weighs 3.5 GB.

  When I import ir to EP he said his time of 2 hours and 16 minutes, and it dosent show any video, the sound works.

  the video works fine on any other player, Including the Organizer, which comes with the EP.

  I read the help here and couldt find anything more than research with the G-spot, and re-installation of PE and K Lite Codec Pack 9 complete, nothing has worked until now...

  The good news is that you use the camcorder ideal for interfacing with Premiere Elements, a basic miniDV cam strip.

  The bad news is that you have captured via a USB connection.

  If you capture your videos via a DV connection, your video must import like a charm. In fact, you will be able to capture in Premiere Elements full rather than having to do with MovieMaker!

  If this is not available, you will need to convert AVI Type 1 (which creates MovieMaker) in a Type 2 AVI. You can do simply enough - even if it's a pain to have to do it every time you capture video. Just download the free program Virtual Dub (from virtualdub.org), open your AVI inside and do a save as to create a new AVI. The new AVI should load perfectly in Premiere Elements.

  However, if it were me, I'd spend $5 on a FireWire cable instead.

  I have a new Dell with Windows 8.  No firewire port.  I have a sony dcr-trv19 camcorder and a box of mini tapes I want to import.  I've used the firewire to import and that worked well.

  Someone has found a way to transfer this unit with the conditions described? Windows 8 is not compatible USB streaming. Is Adobe?

  Maybe the my English is not very good, but what you mean under flow? Is there any kind of cutting during the video?

  Maybe a background app occupied the CPU and because of that the video doesn't well work. Try to check it out.

  What is the destination folder that the date be underneath?  In the top right it says users who suggests, you try to put the photos on top of your username instead of under your username.  Maybe that's the problem.  So change your folder in the drop-down list at the bottom right of what it should be rather than users, and if you're going to show us the destination of your photos at least scroll through the list of folders down right so that we can see which is the white highlight.

  Family of express chipset Intel 82915 g/gv/910 gl is not a video card. It is built into the processor.

  Check the video card, follow these steps:

  a. click Start, click run.

  b. type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

  c. develop graphics cards and you will see the video card (in your case, you could see graphic IntelHD express).

  Since your iSight webcam works up to the time that your Mac goes to sleep, I would like you to start please help desk trying to replicate this problem then to reboot in safe mode:

  1. Choose the Apple menu > shut down.

  2. After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.

  3. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.

     You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.

  4. Release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.

  To exit safe mode, restart your Mac, but no press during the startup.

  OS X El Capitan: start in safe mode

  If you want to edit in Premiere Elements, I would recommend capture with DV Win, no MovieMaker. MovieMaker grabs his video to a different file format.

• Satellite 5100/201: problem with the video card or overheating?

  I have problems with video on a 5100/201 Satellite. It seems that when I press the left side above the graphics card or press a key on the keyboard on this side, the screen begins to be scrambled and vertical lines appear. To end Windows XP resets giving a critical error on the device and the video goes to 640 x 480. Same thing happens when you run Linux Suse 9.0.
