Tecra S1 Bluetooth

can someone tell me where to look to find out if my Tecra S1 is compatible bluetooth, I installed the easy connection and battery, but it says bluetooth is not on, there is no bluetooth in the Panel settings, and nothing happens when I press Fn + F8, so I think that it is not installed. If this is the case, what are my options? can I get a SD/USB bluetooth device?
Thank you
Matt

Hello

First, you must be sure that your device has a Bluetooth card and you can check it on the site from the bottom of your laptop. If the device has a Bluetooth card must be a Bluetooth label. As far as I know your unit is ready for Bluetooth.

If there is no Bluetooth on your device, there are several solutions. You can contact the Service partner and ordered a Bluetooth card and it can be built in. Otherwise, you can use a USB Bluetooth stick. It should also works without a problem.

    Hello JohnBer

The only thing I can tell you about Bluetooth technology, it's that I use Bluetooth Toshiba Stack to connect to my mobile phone from Siemens. I sometimes use it as modem to check mail short and fast. I have no problem and the connection is fine. I use the wizard of a mobile phone is always properly recognized and I can use it without problem.

If you have some problems to make the connection between your device and some external device, it can be caused by some false setting. To make good configuration between laptop and mobile phone was not easy. As I said to check all the Bluetooth settings on both units.

    Hello brad

If the unit has a Bluetooth connection in the lower corner there must be a label of Bluetooth. On this page please http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/faq.jsp?z=96&service=EU&FID=tro000000189d. I guess your device doesn't have Bluetooth, but AFAIK it's certainly ready Bluetooth and Bluetooth module can be added extra.

The image mounted on device is also Bluetooth ready and if you decide to built in software is already installed.

    Hello

As much as I know Tecra S2 has no Bluetooth module, but it is Bluetooth ready. This means that the Bluetooth software is already installed. There are two solutions:
-You can buy the Bluetooth module and it must be built in or
-You can use an external Bluetooth device as USB Bluetooth stick.

You must use the custom of "Bluetooth settings" Mode.
Take a look at the following document called

    on this site:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/?page=HOWTO
and you should make it work.

  • Tecra M4 Bluetooth seems to prevent sleep

Hello. Can someone help me with what looks like a Bluetooth on my Tecra M4 problem? I have the correct Toshiba power settings to put in Standyby after 3 minutes (for example). Which works very well unless I have Bluetooth running in this case, that he won't automatically - standby or Hibernate-I have to do it manually with Fn + F3 (or Fn + F4 for hibernation). Doesn't seem to not make a differnce or not a Bluetooth device is connected or not. Any ideas?

    Thank you.

-Open the 'control-> Performance Panel"and maintenance-> TOSHIBA Power Saver-> Installation Options
-Activate the second menu "Change the Power Saver profile... ' and set the correct behavior in AC mode and battery.
    -Confirm by "OK".
S ' ensure that the current 'profile' for example 'Full Power' is equipped with a hook
-Click on it and change it for example "eve = 1 minute"
    -Confirm by "OK".
-Now, wait for 1 minute without touching the system
    -Laptop should suspend now

  • Tecra 9100 bluetooth and Samsung SGH-D500

    Hello!

I have some trouble getting my Tecra to send files to my SGH-D500 using software of Samsung's PIM & file manager.

The app does not see the BT's COM port, it offers only IRDA as a configuration option.

However, another software connects to the phone OK, so I guess that it is a problem of compatibility between soft Samsung and battery Toshiba BT.

Toshiba Z500 or D600 procedures did not help.

Everything works OK with widcomm BT stack.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you!!

    Hello

Sorry, but if you use a non-Toshiba software you must check if Samsung support can help you. I have mobile phone Motorola have and transfer of data with battery Toshiba BT is successfully in both directions.

Are you sure that the Bluetooth icon has been placed in the Panel before formatting the HARD drive? Why you don't like to use the battery driver Bluetooth?
In addition, you can choose between 2 Control Panel views. Classic and category view. Please check these options. Maybe you have supervised the Bluetooth icon.

  • How to install the Bluetooth Module for Tecra S1

    Hello
I have an old model S1 - PT831E-1DCEE-GR - and you want to install a Bluetooth (PA3121U-1BTM model?), but where should it be mounted?

    Kind regards

    Ulf

    Hello

I think that on the Tecra S1 Bluetooth is optional.
So on some laptops the BT has been installed on some not but I think that it should be possible to upgrade the unit with the BT module. (I hope ;))

To my knowledge, the BT module must be installed in the place under the keyboard.
But if you have no experience in these procedures you should t remove or install anything!

The BT card must be placed above the keyboard area.
To remove or to install the Bluetooth card, you must:
    1. remove the two white flat head screws.
2 unplug the cable to antenna with the tweezers.
    3. disconnect the cards-SUMI (flat cables) on the system board.
4 (remove the Bluetooth card) or (install the Bluetooth card)

Be careful. But as I said above, usually it should be installed by a technician because the guys have more experience... you know

  • Tecra M9: Toshiba BT & WLan helmet - preparation of pilot error

    Hi, any guidance appreciated here.

I have a Tecra M9, Bluetooth stack is v5.10.12. I recently bought a pair of bluetooth headphones wireless (Arena), which works very well with my Orange (HTC) handset. I can pair with the Tecra successfully (on pairing they offer three classes of service BT - sink Audio, headphones and hands-free), but attempts to connect and then come up with a failure message. In a case for a "preparation of the pilot error."

I have other apps (e.g. Skype) closed at the time, potential suggestions, I can try to get the connection work? What I want is to be able to use it as a wireless for Skype headset. It * should * work... As I said, the pairing seems to work ok, and I can choose "Bluetooth (wave)" in the control panel of audio devices, something is fundamentally good.

    Robert CfG

HM, odd noises. Tried another battery of BT? I mean, for example, a former on? And can you please give accurate and detailed information about the error messages that appear after pairing and using the headphones.

It s a very rare error and I guess it should throw something into the section of the driver...

Maybe we can figure it out, but until I need additional information in this case, no matter which.

    Welcome them

  • "Unable to detect the remote device" Bluetooth re Nokia phone

I have two Nokia phones and can not connect to my laptop Toshiba Tecra via bluetooth

    I am running XP SP3
    V6.10.10 (T) battery Toshiba BT
    Nokia PC Suite 7.0.8.2 version

Information system in Nokia PC suite pointed out two stacks of BT compatible:
    Microsoft Version 5.1.2600
    Toshiba 6.0.7y19.0
The help of Nokia says "If your Bluetooth software is not supported by Nokia PC suite, this is mentioned in the information of Nokia PC suite window"
There is no indication in the information of Nokia PC suite window that my Bluetooth software is not supported.

I constantly receive a "cannot find the remote device" message when you use Toshiba BT Stack.

I put my permananently visible to all Bluetooth phones and fortunately they send information to each other.

For a few seconds, one of my phones connected using the Launcher free config (not something I normally use) but then the phone has disappeared from the screen and now can not be detected.

    I tried
    -turn on and off again;
-connection by using the Nokia PC Suite application
-connection by using the BT stack
    -connection using free config
    Without success.

    Any ideas?

Maybe that your antenna has release the Bluetooth module so that your Bluetooth range is very limited.
Can you try to move your mobile phones very close to your laptop and the search for your bluetooth phones?
