Can any body provide me the JavaScript code used to make the box disappear when you view a swf file in IE.

  • problems with SWFs in FLASH CS3

    Hi guys.

    I have problems with the construction of my Web page with Flash.

    I imported the swf files I want in my library, but when I try to put them in folders my computer seems to seize up and takes a few minutes to do the job, and can be very slow and I am unable to what anyone on PC while he does this.

    I do not have incounted this problem before on my PC but I have had it for over 5 years now and I'm on reason to buy a new PC in spring next year when Windows 7 is available on all new computers.

    I'm using windows XP with all updates available and updated upgraded to 1 GB of memory last year.

    Is my old PC to work with FLASH CS3 or is this another problem entirely?

    Any help would be welcome.

    Thank you

    earthflyer

    your ram is low.  so, that "probably the main problem.  You should have 2 GB, at least, and you will see a noticeable difference with another 1-2 GB (total = 3-4 gb).

    When you get your new computer, make sure you get at least 4 GB.

  • Problem with swf in IE

    Hello

    I have a problem with my movie swf in IE. When I consult my websit in IE there is a line gray round the moive swf and if I move the mouse over the video swf my mouse turn into a hand pointing button. If I click on the swf video gray line disappear. I don't have this problem using FireFox. Any help would be appreicated. Thank you!

    This is due to changes in Microsoft IE to avoid breaching the
    (stupid) EOLAS patent. It applies to all control activex that can interact
    with the user.

    If you visit a web site, you can really do something for this problem,
    except complain to the webmaster

    Here is a link to find information on how to fix your Web site to deal with
    activeX active content changes:

    If that does not redirect, simply go to http://activecontent.blogspot.com

    the point is, this question was posted here every day for months - was top news across the web
    also. Yesterday this question has been asked and answered at least 3 different times. You almost
    don't even have to use search - just scan down the headings for more information on this
    topic. Keywords include upgrading IE, active content, border around a flash film, etc... We have been
    posting the same info over and over sos as many times that some of us just find it surprising when
    a person does not bother to do at least a certain amount of research. You would have found the answer
    in a few seconds to search this forum or google as sopposed to wait for someone to volunteer info.

    So, for the 1000th time, I'll give you this URL:

  • Problem with SWF merged

    I have a problem. I merged just two SWF insert the second on first with the following code in AS3:

    var request: URLRequest = new URLRequest ("destino.swf");

    var loader: Loader = new Loader()

    Loader.Load (request);

    addChild (loader);

    It is a slide file, something like powerpoint where you can navigate through the slides with the arrows. I merged two SWF because it is a presentation with images and videos, the problem is that if I navigate back, slide in the second SWF mingle with the first:

    I'll show you a video with the problem. Once the video when the first SWF load the other.

    I hope you can help me.

    When you want to go back, run:

    Loader.Unload ();

    (and, if there is a stream in destino.swf, use loader.unloadAndStop ())

  • Problem with swf and the sound

    Hi all!
    I created a flash animation that includes a sound effect (mp3). The animation works well and the sound plays as expected. But at the end of the animation, the sound is played again. I check my swf file, but sometimes a preview flash. If anyone has experienced this?

    Thank you!!!
    Brad

    Not sure, but you could try adding a script framework at the end of your animation with this code:

    this.stopAllSounds ();

    This line should stop all sounds playing on this timeline, without affecting the Captivate. I can't guarantee that, but it's worth a try. Now, if your animation focuses on AS3, then the above will not work. After return to it is and I'll write the code for you, or do a search (it is not a single line/method).

  • Flash FLV Playback component - problem with swf

    Hope someone can point me in the right direction here - try just the FLV Playback component to replace a couple of short videos on a Web site with a version of flash.

    I've got the SWF works OK - when I saw in HTML it everything works fine.

    However, on the page I have downloaded on my site, it is not and looks like:

    link here

    Any ideas why not?

    I checked, and html, flv and swf files are all downloaded, as is the AC_RunActiveContent.js file.

    See you soon.

    Spotted it - didn't know there was a separate .swf for controls.

  • Problems with sound, imported weird noise

    Hello everyone, I do an animation in Flash CC and I had problems with the import of sounds.

    When I try to import sounds in the library, it appears on the timeline, when I press Enter to display the preview, the only thing I hear is a horrible and loud, as static noise, stop doesn´t until I'm close Flash. But if I press cmd + alt + enter it generates the swf file and I can hear the sound normally.

    I really Don t know what to do, or how to fix it. I will really appreaciate to help thank you very much.

    Either way, I use a Mac. I've recently updated to the Mavericks. I didn t use flash before so I don't know if I already had this problem. It was an mp3 file I imported

    Hello

    Try updating your Flash CC using the menu help-> updates or using creative application of cloud. A fix for this issue is already out in the last update (13.1.0.226).

    This has been reported to occur after the Mavericks for update only on Mac.

    Let me know if this does not solve your problem.

  • Problems with video widget in Muse

    Hi all

    I'm wandering if someone can help me!

    I have been using Muse to design my first website, for my part and was lucky to fall on this 'background video Widget"created by HelloNoam. I tried to implement on my single page site. A single page website of scrolling is obviously not a drawing that you would normally use the widget background for, however, in principle, it works well by putting the widget on a layer below all other Web site content. I have, however, two problems with the site.

    It is a prototype of the Web site without the video widget and as you can see there is a grey white space on the third "page where the video will appear:

    http://www.dominicsimmons.co.UK/nowidget/nowidget.html

    This is the website with the widget (the video may take a while to load one used is large enough, it could be shortened to end use):

    http://www.dominicsimmons.co.UK/widget/widget.html

    The first problem is that when the widget is placed on the page, for some reason any that it will create an additional section at the bottom of the page about the size of a footer (although there is no current footer). There is no explanation for what I can see, and this happens only when the widget is used. As far as I know, this happens in all types of browser.

    The second problem seems to be isolated to when using Safari. When the widget is used, the first 'page' loads but then "pages" later (other than the video page) are white and are displaced. Again I am lost as to why this would be and why it would occur only in Safari and only when the widget is used.

    I talked to Abhishek on the Adobe Live Chat and he advised me to create a new thread here describing the problem. I hope that someone will be able to help/identify the problem because I'm lost as to what is wrong and have little or no experience coding (thus why I use Muse)! It is the only big problem I'm facing and for being a filmmaker, and I want to implement a video design beautiful.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Dominic

    Muse is not video well at all.  Muse is very good at putting up a site of very fast and professional quality with items correctly created, but without video.  Do not use the SWF of Muse recommended files as half of your audience can see your stuff. This is because the HTML 5 is the only way to make it universally visible devices by all static and mobile and more than half of the population now discovers the internet through a mobile device. Learn dreamweaver or other to do it correctly. To bad that Muse could be great if Adobe all down here bits and added the video correctly. Even through code Muse does not well at all. I guess it must be purposely because no company in their right mind would destroy their own potential software without a valid reason.

    Well Adobe?

  • problem with utf8 words in xml use

    Hello. Today, many components such as galleries and drop-down menus and... use dynamic data of files (xml)...

    After I have editing xml and put a few words utf8 a backup when I test my swf I don't show anything in the lines that I replace the English data with other langauge...

    on others, I see unknown characters!

    What is the problem?

    the Xml file has:

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >

    in the header so why Flash cannot act as Dreamweaver or a Web page and...

    what setting I need to change in my xml or Flash to use unicode and langauges type characters in xml files?

    Thank you...

    There's no problem with your xml code.

    but you will need to embed a font in your swf file that displays correctly characters Arabs and non-Arabs.
