Problems with the screen resolution, Cloud based software and Photoshop after the last round of updates Windows 8.1.
Original title: screen resolution problems.
Since the last series of Windows 8.1 update the resolution of my monitors has been changed for the worse. I use an AOC 2367 M (resolution 1920 x 1080) as my first monitor and a 42 inch Sony Bravia (resolution 1920 x 1080) as my 2nd monitor. The changes are more noticeable on the Sony Bravia and any adjustment I make to the resolution only make worse it.
I also have problems with some software clouds as I load using citrix and when I try and navigate once opened software, I can't because the pointer selects a point about 50 mm on the side of the where he is hovering. In fact it is very difficult to open and close as anything and I resorted to the laptop to get concrete results.
Photoshop now also comes up with a message when I open it up to inform me that the monitor profile seems to be defective.
Any suggestions would be helpful as I thought initially an another upgrade must follow to correct the ills of windows 8, but appears not to have happened.
Hi Joseph,.

Windows blocks all a few minutes after the last round of updates and latest installation of IE
I ran the last round of updates of security and the upgrade of IE over the weekend. Now by PC crashes every 4 or 5 minutes. All I can do is to draw power and restart. the problem seems to happen more when messenger, IE, or firefox are used. Before I have to roll back (me is not very far away because I will need to perform these updates at somepoint) y at - it a common cause. I use a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop
First try unistalling IE8 and change your update settings:
Click Start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window
> then click the one that you don't want > uninstall will appear at the top > uninstall it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In addition, on the page where you clicked "Installed updates", click on change settings at the top left corner it
> Change update settings in the next page of AutoUpdate to "check for updates but let me choose etc" > OK ".
When you take a look at pending updates, you can either download/install them one at the time, namely the update causing you problems.
> or if you do not need an individual > right-click on > UAC prompt > hide it
See you soon
Problem with the last 5 minutes of the audio book to cut
My wife recently bought a Clip Jam for listening to audio books. She had a problem with the end of books - the device does not play the last 4-5 minutes of the last chapter of a book. IOW, it ends at the beginning. It must then go to the desktop PC and listen to the end of the book he (proving it is not a problem with the files themselves). She said that this happens on audiobooks, Audible and audio books, it is in MP3 format.
Someone has an idea what can happen and how I can help him solve?
using improved format audible AAX? IIRC: it is a problem only with improved AAX format. Use the Format 4 and that she must play to the end.
computer crashed and rebooted itself. I first started in safe mode, and the computer did not find any problems but had sent a report anyway.
To restart normally, the center of the action (or as I would say, Center!; - p), has been asking me to scan with windows defender and a problem with the graphic driver intel. Scanned well, but to solve the problem, said action solution Center could not be downloaded. I am most definitely connected to the internet and have tried to solve this question many times during approximately the last 18hours?Help would be much appreciated?Good suggestion but I tried this, had to go the manufacturer of the laptop, but still no luck. Think he was playing tricks on me in any case, as seemed to be resolved with a full audit of the system and diagnosis.
Thanks for the effort though... -
I have a problem with the offset of mouse in Windows 8.
Original title: Windows 8 mouse lag - it kills me...
I installed Windows 8 pro on my pc vista (32 bit). I used Microsoft's tool to evaluate my PC for Windows 8, and he says it's good to go. All was well with the mouse in Vista. Windows 8, there are a ton of delay mouse, making the computer almost useless.
I'll assume that you are using an Intel HD4000/2500 GPU. This something I have lived on many facilities between multiple computers. The only way I was able to solve it is to return to the WDDM driver 1.2 Intel from Microsoft instead of the ones directly from Intel. Unfortunate side affect is that OpenGL does not work with Microsoft drivers, so some games will give you an error.
To do this:
Win + R
devmgmt.msc
Expand graphics cards
Right-click on the Intel list, and then click Update drivers
Click Browse my computer
Click on let me choose
Look for Intel Microsoft Corporation WDDM 1.2 (not exact text)
Click next
Problems with the last update of Windows - XP
My office has recently installed a few days ago most recent Windows automatic updates. I have never had any problem with them until once they have been installed. Now, I am constantly the dreaded BSoD, and my computer not acting is not right. My tv tuner gel to my computer disconnected from the internet after a while to even my mouse not acting pointer is not right (he is not above windows, sometimes only behind them). The Blue Screen of Death appears for a split second, so I have absolutely no time to see what he says.
The error report contains the following:
C:\DOCUME~1\LPLINK~1\Locals~1\temp\WER6c8a.dir00\Mini112609-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\LPLINK~1\Locals~1\temp\WER6c8a.dir00\sysdata. XMLThe error signature:
BCCode: 1000008e BCP1: C0000005 BCP2: 004D004E BCP3: 9EBD4B70
BCP4: 00000000 OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 3_0 product: 256_1When I look into the details, he said something about a device driver. But that doesn't help really since everything he ever said whenever I get a "serious mistake." I've done many analyses of virus/malware/spyware (even with the different products as well) and they all find nothing. Which brings me to the conclusion that the most recent updated Windows (23 or 24 November) is what caused my office these problems.
If someone could help please shed some light on this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I also noticed that when my computer disconnects from the internet, I have to restart in order to regain access to the network. But when I try to restart, it refused to stop and freezes just my background image. I also have a laptop with XP Professional SP3 on it and I have absolutely no problem with him. It is only limited to my office.
Legrand, I had the same problem and it was driving me crazy too. I tried everything and finally understood the November 25 or 26 update messed up my AVG anti-virus. I deleted via the control panel and did not have a freeze since! I hope you are using AVG, cause if you are, it's probably your answer too. I'll check back here soon to see if this helped you.
Create a 1 page site - problems with the last section scrolling too far from scrolling
I've created a 1 page site that works very well outside the final section, scrolling too far from scrolling. My site consists of a headr pinned, a footer pinned and 4 sections (defined by rectangles - each a 1011 pixels high). I used effects scroll to bring the items in and out.
The site can be accessed here: Homepage
The problem is with the contact us section, where you seem to be able to scroll further than the lower part.
Here is my document, set the parameters:
so my size is set on 4042 (although I've tried it with 4044-4 x 1011 - it makes no difference. When I click on the link to the contact section it seems fine, but I then seem to be able to scroll further down, and this seems dependent on the screen / the browser size. The problem is more pronounced with a smaller screen / browser size in height.
I have tried everything I can think to do does not scroll beyond what it takes the anchor when I click the link, but whatever I do the problem seems to persist.
I would welcome any suggestions on this and also General comments on the site. But help with the problem, first please.
Thank you very much in advance - I'd be happy to publish the file of muse but can't seem to find a way to do it.
Ian
Hello iwatts3519,
just make your master page longer. I don't have to correct the pixel length. This is a test and see option. Here is the corrected file:
Problem with the formats video pro update 2.0.4
Hello
I have a problem with FCPX that appeared after I installed that formats video pro update 2.0.4 (very probably related to this update because had no problem before it). Final assembly runs very slowly and when I try to quit smoking I get a message that says 'Cancellation tasks background' with a progress bar that never begins. I opened the window of background tasks and there is no background running task. Only force leaving the application closes.
System specs are:
FCPX version 10.1.4
Mavericks OSX version 10.9.5
MacBook Pro 15 "in early 2011, intel core i7 at 2 GHz, 8 GB of RAM"
Any help would be massively appreciated! Thank you
