  I'm using Windows Vista (Home Basic edition), Windows Movie Maker.  I scanned several pictures and created a great movie of family memories.  When I discovered the film on my laptop the image quality is good.  After you create a dvd much paintings have very red on the face of the individuals while other images seem to be hide or taking colors similar to that of the elements of the background.  For example, the faces of the two individuals have a bright purple tinge to them which is be the same color as the sweater worn by one of the individuals in the picture.  Everything looks good for what color is watching the movie on my laptop, it is only when a dvd is created that image quality seems to fall drastically.  What do I need change or adapt?

  Thank you for the feedback.  Your test result, the only conclusion that I can find is that the film was burned bad media/disc.  Please can you try to burn another DVD (preferably of novelties for the tests) to see if the same thing happens on the second DVD.

  I try to play a legitimate, belonging to DVD, but Windows Media Player 12 will not play on my computer Windows 7 Professional.  The DVD worked a few days ago, but all of a sudden, I get the following error message:

  I did a lot of research of these forums and on the ' net.  Here are the suggested steps I tried without success:

  • I tried VLC player.  This works.  However, rather than use this workaround, I wish to find a solution to my problem WMP/WMC.
  • I tried several DVD for years over the last decade.  These DVD works on my laptop, also running Windows 7 Professional and the shark 007 codec.
  • I uninstalled my Shark 007 codec
  • I tried other codecs (K-Lite)
  • I assured that the latest drivers are installed on my video card, XFX ATI Radeon 5850
  • I tried to uninstall Nero 9
  • I tried to use the Windows 7 troubleshooting options:
  • > Reading and burning CD, DVD and Blu - ray (no problem)
  • > Windows Media Player DVD (no problem)
  • > Windows Media Player Settings (detects a problem, wants to restore factory settings, every time, no matter what happens)
  • A system restore to a time when the DVD was working did not resolve the issue
  • The different links in Microsoft, I found in this forum about this problem do not seem to be useful.  There is a link that points to the set-top boxes, but this page just says: "Windows 7 comes with a decoder.
  • I assured the latest driver is available by going to "Device Manager", right click on the drive, then click on "update driver software".
  • I assured that the latest firmware is installed directly from the manufacturer's website.
  • I tried to reset my DRM by renaming the DRM under C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows folder and by going to this Web site to upgrade:http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp?force=1
  • I've uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Media Player 12 and Windows Media Center via the function "functionality in Windows.

  I would be very grateful if a Microsoft technology could chime.  Thanks for your help!

  You can use the Adobe PDF printer to print PDF signed to unsigned PDF and then encrypt the result.

  After 3 years of work very well on my PC Vista SP2, now, whenever I open a PDF file, Adobe Acrobat (AA) said that since the activation of the AA my PC configuration has changed - when there has been in fact no changes any (except Vista updates). When I try to activate online, I tells me that the server is not available. When I use the phone option, the serial number is accepted, but captures the activation number on the window, I said that the number of digits required is bad. Oddly enough, every time I have tried to see a different number of activation. What am I supposed to do? I would be very grateful for any help.

• problems with the subpicture highlight

  I've been messing around with it all day yesterday, and when I stuck in the decoder it is not come right, but for some reason I can't fix. I know this is an easy fix and a rookie mistake... my brain is juts not pulling acurately to figure out... someone else?

  I want the text to be buttons I don't know... black. and then when highlight turn a different color with a underscore in the same color and when selected take a different color with the changing underscores as well. I did this at elast times with proactically all the projects I did... but can't seem to get it right with this one.

  When the menu color scheme is set to automatic the underscore doesn't appear on highlight and select this option, any way you want, however none of the links change color. If I change the color set to "default menu", the colors change... but the underline goes to state results displayed, regardless of the State of the button. When I change the color set to a predefined... color scheme, I created the colors change how I want them (a little), but once again, the underscore is stagnant.

  the only way I can get this emphasis to work only when this button is manipulated, is by definition of the color to the automobile, but there is no color change to any button doesn't say this way:-/.

  You have made in your color Panel menu, highlights 2 and 3, the value zero opacity.  Turn it up!

  My problem is: I want to create an application to start with multimedia keys ('Internet', 'Disc'). I registered it with TOSHIBA, but the buttons ' CD/DVD' and 'Internet' do not work. In the TOSHIBA Assist Button Manager software, I see "¥" (yen mark) instead of the "------" (backslash) in the path field. I checked it in REGEDIT, where everything is OK, I see the path correctly. But these two buttons do not work. ' Play/Pause', 'Stop', 'Previous' buttons 'Next' work with Windows Media Player.
