ProBook 470 G2: HP Probook 470 G2 10 problem Windows

Hello

I bought a laptop Hp ProBook 470 G2 with windows 8.1.  I upgraded the Windows Windows 10. Everything is working great except for the fact that the Fn key does not work with F3, F4, F9 and F10. The only combination that works is with Fn + F6 and F7 for the sound. For HP Probook 470 G1 model there is a driver for the HP Hotkey support keyboard but is not compatible with the G2 model. I have the latest drivers for the video. Cheked all. If you can help me or give me a HP Hotkey Support driver that is compatible with this model, it will be nice.

Thank you in advance.

Try to install the sofpaq following Hotkey for Windows 8.1 in compatibility mode.

I don't know what to say I have a 64 bit OS I downloaded the drivers from the official site of HP and I have also tried donwnloading drivers in official sites AMD and Intel. I don't think that I have problems with graphics.
And sometimes, when my screen stays off for a long time, it displays a warning in the task bar that the AMD driver is not resonding for more information please feel free to ask.

  • HP Probook 4530 s Audio problems Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

    Hello

I'm having a problem with my HP Probook s 4530 where sound sometimes will not play. I downloaded the audio driver for my computer approriate. If I click on an application that requires administrator permissions, and user account control appears, it won't play the sound system as he normally does. If I click on the speaker at the bottom icon right and adjust the volume slider is not a sound. I also noticed that when I listen to any type of Internet video, the video will not play until the sound is working again. The video sometimes plays with no sound, then the sound catches up. I have tried many differnet browsers but the issue keeps happeneing regarless.

When my computer Windows 7, the audio worked fine. Videos always played and sounds performed system always spot him. My motherboard was replaced late last year due to overheating so I don't think it's a hardware problem. The strange thing is that this problem is not consistent. One minute the sound could be working perfectly, but two minutes later the sound stops just work. If you could provide no details on what it is (my theory is that it is the driver) I would really appreciate it.

I could try to capture a video of the issue, I'll have and post it on Youtube, but it is difficult, since the issue is sporadic. If I get a video of it, I'll be sure to post the link.

    Thank you!

  • S HP ProBook 4530 video card problem

Today, I bought my new laptop - HP ProBook 4530 s with i5 and radeon 6490M. Unfortunately, after I installed windows 7 64 bit on it (as it came with SUSE Linux). Now, I can't do my 6490M work. Only the embedded video works. Can you tell me what I need to download drivers? I tried everything on the ati site, but it tells me that this combination of OS and video card has no driver available.

At the same time I noticed that many of the same series probook laptops are sold with windows 7, so it seems illogical that there is no driver available. If this is the case that I must return the laptop - I won't need it if there is no way to use discrete graphics under windows.

    Hello:

You cannot use the drivers from the ATI site for your switchable graphics. They work only for laptops that have only the ATI graphics card and no other additional.

You can install the graphics driver HP laptop with switchable graphics.

    Hello:

It seems that you need to install the graphics drivers from Intel and AMD.

First, install the Intel graphics driver and restart.

  • HP Probook 470 G1: update to Windows 10

Originally, the PC came with Windows 8
    I've updated to 8.1
And I want to know if there is a problem also update 10

And I wanted to know about recovery option,
I discovered after the update 8.1 recovery does not,
Whether it will be after the update 10?

So how do you restore the recovery to normal?

    Thank you

You can use the snap-snap-in management of Windows disk to enable the recovery partition if you want to make an image recovery plant. As long as the recovery partition is still present, the possibility of using it still exists.

Once you make it active and restart the computer, it should boot straight into the Recovery Manager. Don't do it unless you really need to run a recovery.

In the Recovery Manager, you can perform the factory image recovery.

You can use a third-party program to create an image on a support of external storage to use for emergencies in 8.1 for Windows or Windows 10.

My preference for training ISO image is of software Paeragon disk copy or disk management utilities.

You can also use clean Windows built in refreshment of imaging utility of creation to create an image in Windows 8, 8.1 or the next Windows 10. Read the tutorial at the following ADDRESS.

Thanks in advance for reading and pay attention to this frustrating problem I have.

I use a HP Probook s 4320 and just reinstalled Windows 7, as well as all pilots & assistant wireless etc.

At home, I have a broadband thanks Talk Talk (UK), through a router D Link N ADSL2 +, who works currently with no problem on a number other devices, laptop (Win Vista) Samsung, PS3, iPhone etc.

I've used the wifi on the laptop with no problems.

After reinstalling and coming to set up my wifi network, it recognizes my network and many others around me, I choose mine & try to enter my passowrd - unauthorized, then press the button on the router & go through it - everything seems to work ok.

After you connect to the internet for about 10 minutes, the connection drops and when I click the icon at the bottom of the taskbar wireless, my network is displayed at the bottom of the list with a red X next to it and I can not connect.

When I try, it says: -.

'The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network.

When I right click on the wireless icon and select '' problems of disorder shoot, '' he says: -.

    "Check your wireless security type.

I can connect to the internet without any problem using the wired connection through the router.

When I go to security settings, they are:-

    -WPA2-Personal security type

    -Type of AES encryption

    Network - correctly-entered security key

Please could someone help me to be able to use wireless correctly, I would be very grateful!

    Thank you.

    Hello:

What model of wireless card you have (make and model)?

There must be a newer there than in 2009 driver.

    It's probably the main issue.

After you let me know that you install the updated driver, delete the network connection and it restore from scratch.

  • ProBook 4430 s Boot problems

    Hello

    I have a HP ProBook s 4430 running Windows 7.

A couple of weeks, I got a blue screen crashes and it seemed to corrupt a part of windows as windows (among other programs) Explorer wouldn't start automatically. I had to start explorer.exe from the Task Manager after the connection. I have searched the forums and tried all the tips/patches, but to no avail.

I decided to simply reformat the computer and get back to the basics. This is where things went from bad to worse.

My HP did not come with a Windows CD or a backup CD, and I have not one when I bought it (I've traveled across India at the time). All forumns advised to use HP Recovery Manager or press F11 at startup to access the partition of the hard drive recovery. (D: in my case). My computer doesn't seem to have the Recovery Manager and F11 does nothing to start. Setup does not change how he arrived at the factory, it should always be there.

Exacerbated, I changed my D: to 'active' to try to boot from the recovery disk... this stuffed all this. Unfortunately, now my computer does not start (it is said there is no OS on D.)

Then... of ideas? Is my only hope of order recovery disks from HP? do some work? Is it possible to change my boot from D: drive to C: without Windows help? I can't find options like that in the HP Start menu I can access.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Samuel

    Hi Samuel,.

Here's another solution, that you can use to reinstall Windows 7.

Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

An example of a COA label can be seen here.

You can create an installation disk yourself using another PC - just download the good Disk Image ( it must be of the same exact version of Windows 7 that originally came with your laptop ) from the link below and use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write that an ISO on a disc is here.  These Images are clean and a well respected source, however there are only limited versions available.

    Windows 7 sp1-iso-official-32-bit-and-64-bit

Use the disk to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA at the request and once the installation is complete, use ' 'phone Method' described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system -this made method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

    http://www.kodyaz.com/articles/how-to-activate-Windows-7-by-phone.aspx

All pilots additional and the software you need is found from here.

    Kind regards

  • ProBook 4520 s: lack of features on a ProBook 4520 s after upgrade Windows 10

    Hello dear community

Long story short: I have a HP ProBook 4520 s and yesterday I upgraded manually (with the tool provided by MS) Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro. Everything went very well and smooth and it works perfectly well until now.

The problem is that some of the features of the laptop no longer work. Here are some examples:

    -Highlight the option on touchpad

    -built-in camera

-Some FN buttons like the one for the brightness of the screen while others (for example, the volume and email) working

My reasoning is that it lacks certain drivers or these functions are somehwat is not compatible with the new OS (it's a 5 + year old PC after all), but I could be wrong. I'd like to hear some suggestions and opinions on this.

If someone needs to my specifications complete, there are:

Yes, it is safe to uninstall the HP Security Manager Client software.

It is not necessary to have installed and the operating system Windows 10 will do fine without it.

The purpose of the HP Client Security software is as follows:

"HP Client Security Manager provides Windows user name and the Web site single-sign - we enhanced capabilities." Security Manager is also the host of plug-ins HP Client Security and must be installed before other modules of Client Security. This package is provided for the laptop models running a supported operating system. »

  • HP Probook 6570b: unusual startup problem

When my WD Mybook 1130 is connected to a USB 3.0 port, my Probook will not start.  Here is the exact sequence where this happens:

I do turn my notebook and plug the WD drive.

The drive is recognized, installed and is fully functional.

I put my laptop in mode 'sleep' (or I stopped it)

When I press the power button on the laptop, the splash screen appears, with "Press esc for boot options", and it stays there, non-functional.   It does not start or respond to keystrokes - except the power button, which he died.

If I unplug the WD drive, then press the power button, the laptop starts normally.

So, what is a problem of HP, a problem of USB 3.0 or a WD Mybook drive problem?

I understand - and I have the same situation.  If I connect my external WD passport, the laptop does not start.  But if I connect other readers, it will be.

There is a conflict between the WD drives that prevents laptops to boot.

Sorry, but I have been unable to find a "solution" for this.

    Good luck

The fingerprint reader is an optional component of your laptop.

The image you posted shows the Notepad in the image doesn't have a fingerprint reader; small empty coverage shows where the player would be installed.
