I have switchable graphics:
1 Intel HD Graphics 4000
2 AMD Radeon HD 7650 M

I don't know what to say I have a 64 bit OS I downloaded the drivers from the official site of HP and I have also tried donwnloading drivers in official sites AMD and Intel. I don't think that I have problems with graphics.
And sometimes, when my screen stays off for a long time, it displays a warning in the task bar that the AMD driver is not resonding for more information please feel free to ask.

After reading this, I want to thank you for you time I really appreciate it.

Here is the proof that my drivers are ok:

OK, the sleep problem is fixed now repair it just didn't download the drivers from offical HP Driver download page, update your drivers in Device Manager (restart your pc if you having any difficulties updating).

If you have already downloaded the drivers try to use system restore or install a new copy of windows.

  • My computer will always run a scheduled backup, if it goes into sleep mode? Windows 7...

original title: will BE BACKUP OCCUR IF MY LAPTOP GOES TO SLEEP MODE? (WIndows 7)

I have my laptop value backup at midnite.  I have the computer goes into "sleep" mode before.  Is my computer still backup as expected?

You can get the Task Scheduler to wake him up.

You can configure the backup form program timed task in the Task Scheduler with the game of "wake up to perform this task.  Depending on what you use for backups, the backup application can already use Task Scheduler & all you need to do is add the "wake up to perform this task" setting.

To open Task Scheduler, type 'Planner' in the search box of the start menu.  Search in the left pane and select its library.  Browse the tasks in the list that has your backup program in its "Action" tab  Make a copy [a test version] 1 by clicking Export in the right pane & recording in an easily accessible folder, 2 when you rename the file in the selected folder [simply add 'Test' at the beginning of its name] 3 click on import in the right pane to bring in the copy renamed the task from the same folder.

Now you can play safely & just disable the test version when you are finished.  The main change would "allow to wake up...." "and it's in the conditions tab.

If it works, let the enabled test version & disable the original for a few days while you're fairly confident that the new version works.  Then you can delete one of them - but only after have exported them again if you know that you can recover later.

  • Sleep mode problem

I have a problem with my mode 'sleep' on my Pavilion laptop 15-n050eb. This takes place since I installed windows 8.1

When I manually put the pc to sleep I get a screen black still makes the noise but it won't wake up.

When he falls asleep himself, it's like he stops then when I wake up it upwards (only possible with button / stop) all programs are closed and it takes a lot of time.

I tried the bios update and drivers and searching online for answers, but they do not seem to solve the problem.

  • Pavilion g6t-2000 black screen & Sleep Mode problem

    Features of the laptop:
Name: HP Pavilion g6t-2000 CTO Notebook

    CPU: Intel I3 - 2370 m 2.4 GHz, Intel HD 3000

GPU: AMD Radeon HD m 7670

    OS: Windows 7 64-bit

So over the past two weeks, I have been having a problem with my laptop after installation of an update to the beta with my GPU driver. Whenever I put my computer to sleep mode and turn on I get a black screen. The computer is turned on and set to lock the screen, so if I typed my password, it'll make the connection noise. Also, if I look at the right angle, I see a very dimmed screen which is there before I moved it in mode 'sleep'. Strangely when I put the laptop in hibernate mode and turn back on the screen is fine.

    Things I've tired:

    • Removed the beta driver and the GPU of HP drivers installed via the HP website
    • Update BIOS f.25 (latest driver)
    • Changed the power of options such as checking to see if hybrid sleep is turned off
    • Check the BIOS, it is very little options and none has to do with my problems. Only thing I can see on BIOS is to change the boot priority and enable and disable the little features like "fan always on / off", etc.
    • Running sfc/scannow

On a side note, my laptop has been dropped about a week BEFORE the update to the beta GPU on a foot of my bed. "Sleep" mode was not affected by what I know. I was also reading autour on a power inverter and there may be possible that it has been damaged and if you think it is maybe it how can I test it? Thank you.

I finally got the time to do a restore on my HP Pavilion laptop factory g6t-2000 settings and after doing a test with the AMD drivers, I discovered that drivers AMD were the problem holding my laptop to wake up full-screen mode 'sleep'. Thank you very much for your help AxshunJaxun.

I recommend to not install the AMD drivers and once you do and that you do not have a restore point the only solution is a factory restore settings.

  • M125rnw: HP M125rnw sleep mode problem

    Hello

    Sorry for my English.

I recently bought a MFP HP LaserJet Pro M125rnw.

I installed the printer using the ethernet connection.

I can't solve the problem with the standby printer.

After a long stay in the mode 'sleep', the printer refused to print:

    1. I can't print from a PC with Windows 7
    2. I can't print from a PC with Ubuntu 14.10
    3. I can print reports using the WEB interface
    4. Turning to the wide on/off the printer solves the problem for a few hours

Is this a problem with the printer hardware?

When he goes to sleep, go to the menu of the printer and see if you can push the buttons to get the "sleep mode".  If you can, then the issue is probably with the driver you are using.  If you can't wake up the printer with the button, then you have a hardware problem and the trainer is probably defective.

  • Sound stops working after sleep mode in Windows 7

I just installed Windows 7, map its Xonar HDAV 1.3 Slim, ASUS M4a78 Pro motherboard with processor image ASUS.  Works fine until it goes into sleep mode.  When he wakes up, the sound does not work.  When I test different devices, the sound bar saves the output, but no sound appears.  Update BIOS and drivers and that didn't help.  All system sounds and sounds MCE or anything like that do not work until I restart.  I saw the patches for this problem in Vista, but it will not yet install in my computer because I have Windows 7.  Thanks for any help!

Install the latest Windows 7 compatible sound and display drivers.

The fingerprint reader is an optional component of your laptop.

The image you posted shows the Notepad in the image doesn't have a fingerprint reader; small empty coverage shows where the player would be installed.

  • Satellite Pro A300 Wireless resumed after sleep mode problem

OK, so I have this little 'itch' which becomes little boring sometimes. When I take my computer in sleep mode, it takes a good 30-40 seconds my Wi - Fi is reactivated. I mean, that's when my computer wakes from sleep mode and I'm in my browser, I get an internet connection for a good 30-40 seconds. I was wondering if there is some setting I've accidentally changed which makes my laptop to do this? Because I remember my laptop no this when I got it.

    Hey,.

I agree with the user above. You should try the update the WLAN driver. Perhaps the current driver isn't working properly so an update should help you get rid of it. More recent and pre-tested WLAN driver that you can download on the official Portal of Toshiba WLAN:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

What operating system you are using?
On Vista and Windows 7, you can disable in the settings of the WLAN energy saving feature Windows power management.

  • 'Sleep' mode problems and keyboard

I have an intermittent problem when I SLEEP my Acer laptop - sometimes to wake up the keyboard does not work.  There is no echo of nature - nothing.  The mouse works fine.  So I restart and all is well.

I installed Vista Service Pack 2 and the recent updates through KB973917.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Twila

    Hello

If the appliance breaks down or is no longer works correctly after resume you a Windows Vista mode computer standby or Hibernate, then the best way to solve this problem is to get the latest Windows Vista service pack. If there is a reason why you are unable to install the latest Windows Vista service pack, the best thing is to get the hotfix that is mentioned in this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929734

As you have already installed service pack 2, you can try to install the patch and if the fix is not to settle, try to download the Microsoft fix it and install it.

If the fix is not to settle, try the manual steps mentioned under fix it myself.

NOTE: Before you run the manual steps, back up the registry.
How to back up and restore the registry: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756

If the problem persists, you can uninstall the updates that you have installed or run system restore, see this link for more information: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948537

  • Sleep Mode problems

Whenever I put the computer on the mode 'sleep', it also puts my monitor on the mode "Eve". When I come back and shake the mouse to wake from sleep the monitor will appear for a little bit and then it happens mode 'sleep' and the only way to have access to the state machine is turn it off completely and turn it back on. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hello

Click on run as administrator - at the command prompt, type powercfg - devicequery (awakening of any key) > press ENTER.

Also, update all device drivers, including the chipset, the mouse driver and the driver of the display card.
Please run Windows Update and keep updated the system to date.
In addition, if there is no security (anti-virus, anti-spyware) software installed,

    If the problem persists
You can also perform clean boot tests
How to perform the clean boot:
    1. click on start, type MSCONFIG in the search bar and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
If the "User Account Control" window appears, please click on continue.

  • HP 15-U010DX - 360 Split 2-1: Sleep Mode in Windows 10 does not work

Since I've upgraded to Windows 10 standby does not work correctly when the cover or pressing the close button when you set these for sleep.  I've updated the BIOS, Intel Chip Set drivers and video Driver for more later.  HP and Windows updates installed.

Problem is not everthing goes to sleep, usually my ethernet connection, audio and fan on.  Should use the power button and hold for recover.  Whenever I get close the lid and open it, I have a black screen.  I can tell when I'm not sleeping by noticing that the Ethernet Jack is always turned on and the fan making the noise after closing the lid or pressing the power button.

Here's the kicker, you change the power settings, save and return to sleep in them and reset and it will work with the cover of ONLY ONCE.   There, after his return to never work, never completely sleep and having to restart.

    Need help.

This problem has been resolved by uninstalling the last Intel ME file and installing (Intel® ME 9: management engine driver for Intel® NUC) version 9.5.24.1790 dated 31/03/2014.  Essentially to back this driver to version 8.1 of Windows. The only problem I've seen is the hard drive fan seems to work more often than before, but that might be my imagination.  I have found no issue going back to this version so far.

The link below is for all versions directly from Intel.  Could not find me one file other than the latest version 11 on the HP site, which produces the sleep problem.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/search?keyword=Intel+management+engine

For me I just went on Control Panel, programs and files, location and uninstalled Intel ME.  Run the configuration file for ME 9 and restarted.  Problem after reboot.

This announcement, I am on day 3 after the change with no problem and no occurrence of the issue of sleep.
