• Activate the TPM on Probook G0 470

  Hello

  I have recently purchased a 470 G0 Probook laptop and want to use Bitlocker for security reasons. I can't seem to activate the TPM and I can't see anywhere in the Bios. I have windows 7 Ultimate edition and update to the latest version of the Bios of your site.

  On the site, I see this laptop as having the TPM chip, but I can't see anywhere in the Bios.

  I am looking at the quickspecs and I can't find anything on a TPM chip included (which I find unusual for a business notebook).

  Normally, the TPM secure is listed under security features. I even did a search of words in the document.  Nothing.

  Look in the Device Manager in the category of safety devices.

  If the laptop has a TPM module, it will appear in this category.

  Hi all

  There are so many issues report on WiFi on Windows 10 problems, but I'm not really mine.

  I'm running the ProBook HP 470 with WiFi Atheros 9000 series card. It worked fine with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

  A couple of weeks, I decided to upgrade to Windows 10. Everything works fine, except the WiFi. I can connect to the WLAN and network speed and the signal strength is perfect, but after a while (minutes or even hours), he falls abruptly to the bottom and my router WLAN even States disconnected, but he'll fix itself after a while. I can force the "self-repair-speed" of disabling and enabling WiFi again.

  But, this is no good solution, WiFi has to work reliable all the time when not moving and it work perfectly with Windows 7. I was hoping that Microsoft and hardware vendors manage drivers after one year of version 10 of Windows, but seems not to be the case.

  I have already installed the latest driver for HP download site, but it is already a year old, and it was the same thing as Windows / Microsoft has done while Windows Upgrade. Therefore no change to be expected.

  Before that I go down again to Windows 7, what can I do? There are a few other pilots who could interfere with WLAN and might not be updated? (More of the WLAN driver I don't have other day manually because I count for the Windows upgrade process.)

  The laptop is to date, according to the release of Windows 10.

  Anyway, it doesn't work well, that's why I decided to downgrade to Windows 7. Now it works again as it is supposed to.

  I tried all THE drivers on the support page says bluetooth realtek driver for win 8.1 which do not have a realtek bluetooth adapter.

  My probook 1 470 t even no bluetooth?

  or is it a problem of windows 8.1 driver

  Hello:

  The number for your specific product 470 G1 does not come with built-in bluetooth.

  I can tell because the Realtek wireless card uses your laptop is a single band, bluetooth card.

  If you want a card with BT wireless, see Chapter 3 of the the service manual for the list supported without wireless/bluetooth combo cards and replace the Realtek card.

  You need to get one of the maps in the maintenance manual and it must have the part number HP on it or more likely won't work.

I installed the driver of sensor from the HP support Web site, but there is no software (like Digitalpersona) available for this model.   Welcome to HP forum. Why even bother messing around with it. Just go back to the store and Exchange. Leave the store address Dirrect HP support. Most of the stores have a 30 day return policy. You aren't the only one with this kind of problem with the defective battery on a new computer. If you deal with Direect Support HP to fix it your self you'll be with a computer for at least six weeks. Your computer comes with a one year warranty, so HP Dirrect support are those to contact about a battery replacement or fix the problem with the hardware inside the computer. Why do business with mares of night to support Direct from HP when you don't need to. Just return it even if you are also just rent Exchange it.

  In addition this does ' t HP not even cover the steps of troubleshooting your system for your laptop battery. I just checked in case you wanted really badly to turn your self. How lame is that.

  I don't see anything that covers the battery for troubleshooting.  Just so return it and exchange it. Less you have a new computer, when you do the same day against waiting for six weeks with a minium.  Not to mention that I am fully aware of how the poor live from HP support is. It cost me $1,1000.00 to fix their screwed up they are gone when my Computer has been returned by them for the sixth straight time. That's how badly they have screwed up my computer.

• ProBook 470 G3: M2 500 GB (SATA) drives are supported on HP ProBook 470 G3?

  Officially, only 128 GB or 256 m2 TLC (SATA, PCIe) readers are supported on HP ProBook 470 G3. However, Crucial says their M.2 MX200 500 GB TLC works fine on the same laptop. Would Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB m2 also work? It is also based at TLC.
