Process Explorer displayed vaguely; barely able to see.

[Original title: Process Explorer]

I have process Explorer when I ran, it upward slightly on the screen barely able to see. What should I do to get it to be able to be seen? It's like a ghost in the background.

OK, I thought about it, I could barely, see but I clicked on the view and the opacity increased to 90% and I can see it now.

    If you have problems to access using Process Explorer, it's probably because you do not it unlock after the download.

    The best way to do this is to go to the folder where the zip file downloaded, right click the zip file and select Properties. Then click on the button unlock and apply them. Go to the excerpt from Process Explorer.

  • Firefox will not display on the screen even though with Process Explorer, I see active Firefox.exe but no CPU usage

    I use Firefox as default browser v10.0.2 on Dell XPS8300 Intel Core i5 and Windows 7 Ultimate and Compaq Presario CQ57 IO IO Intel Core i3 and Windows 7 Home. More frequently on the (approximately 90% of attempts) that Dell (50% of attempts) Firefox will not display on the screen when I click the icon. Cannot display other programs when it happens. I expressly say display because I believe that Firefox has started. To work around the problem, I installed Process Explorer on both machines and launch this program first, then click on the Firefox icon. When the problem occurs I see process Firefox.exe in the list of processes; some CPU consumed but, then, no CPU activity. If I click on the Firefox icon, yet another process opens in the list of processes, but with the same answer - some consumed CPU and then no CPU activity. If I have 2 processes running and kill the process from the 1st, the 2nd poster and then everything is normal. If I do not open it treat a 2nd, but kill the 1st process then click the Firefox Firefox is displayed and all then is normal. This problem has occurred since the original on the two new machines installation. I have updated the video drivers on both computers.

    OK, let's see if we can solve this problem and make it work for you!

    First of all, if you start Firefox in safe mode (restart your computer first, then when you open Firefox, hold down the SHIFT key) it starts more reliable? This is usually caused by a defective module. If this does not help, then restart Firefox, go to the Firefox, then add-ons button and disable your extensions one by one until you find the troublemaker.

    Also, try to update to Firefox 11, it has several bug fixes that might make life easier here.

    Just as a few troubleshooting steps base to ensure that we have all the bases covered,
    Run all Windows updates, install all required service packs, etc.

    Update all of your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.

    Download and install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This check allows that there is no virus on your computer, causing problems. You can uninstall this program after having cleaned the infections.

    Another problem with CS5 was the Bridge opens as a process in the background and must be closed in the taskbar > hidden icons before updating.

    Good luck

    In fact, you have had a chance, I'm surprised that the D800 goes back to CS5 and ACR6.7

  • I want to max my screen to be able to see the images in the messages. The ' to, subject, to and BCC occupy 25% of the screen - one under the other.

    When I view a message it is a title showing the ' to, subject, to and Bcc' message under each other in a group which occupies about 25% of the screen. This prevent me to see a complete picture of the message. Can not change this option for do not show this information at all because it is used to occupy a large part of the screen?

    Not being able to increase the resolution will mean less can be displayed, but obviously, it is a personal thing and you should be able to see the screen comfortably.

    However, I noticed your picture looks like quite like mine, although similar.

    The pale blue bar at the top of the tab should display icons "Mail Toolbar" which does not appear in your screenshot.
    It should have these buttons or icons for example: get Messages, write, address book, Menu icon and research.
    If it has been disabled, then the pale blue box would not be showing. Thus, it is a query.

    Q: do you have 'tailor-made' bar messaging tools to remove the icons from buttons?
    Customization allows you do drag icons on and off the e-mail toolbar. Do you have this is thinking he might save you space, but in fact you still have the domain - the mail toolbar, but it is now empty?
    If you have removed them in order to create a space, I would say that you put all the icons back, so that they are available. It is easier to hide the view by disabling the e-mail toolbar.

    View > toolbars > mail toolbar
    Q: is the messaging on or off toolbar?

    Disabling should you save space by deleting the pale blue box above, but it still won't create the kind of space you're talking about. Baring in mind that each image can be a different size.

    The area with of, subject, to and Bcc, should also show several buttons for example: answer, before, Archive, Junk, Delete and another button called 'other Actions '. These buttons appear on the right side. Maybe you have them, but they cropped in the displayed image.
    If the area to which you refer has done more than just the titles. It also offers you a way to click on for example; Respond directly from the email that you look.

    What version of Thunderbird do you use?

    Have you tried the 'Conversations' addon because this will reduce the headers?

    There is also another Addon called "Headers Compact" will be also reduced the size of the headers:

    But you are only going to win some space which cannot result will be enough to see the large embedded images.

          -------------------------------------

    The person who transmits the image should really be sending these images in the form of attachments, so that you can choose to view by using the correct application of the program and/or reduce the size of the screen if they are incorporating the image in the content.

    If they refuse to send the image properly and persist in sending large embedded images, then you may not be able to see full images without scrolling you have no control over how they sent the image; It could be small or huge, which will affect the ability to view an image all at once.

    For large images nested:
    The best option for you would be to right click on the image and use "save image under" choose to save the image to your computer in a right example folder: Photos. Then open and view them using an appropriate such as "Windows photo Gallery" or similar application.
    So if you choose to delete the email you don't waste the image she's saved elsewhere on your computer.

  • Second Process Explorer that run under the NEST 6200; as svchost.exe that runs under the NEST 6200

    I found, when the use of Process Explorer, that a second version of the Explorer P. works too, but its icon (left) is a standard and not the true icon of the Explorer P..  This second version ran under the NEST 6200, which I believe has to do with a modem.  I have a modem on my Vista machine, but it is not used (no telephone connection).  I went into the folder where P. Explorer runs and found procexp.chm, and when I tried to open the file, Windows said it was a program.  To disable, I renamed it, and now I'm not running.  Also, I found of svchost.exe running under the NEST 6200, but with no description, co. name, path or command line.  I have known big bed (over 500 MB), using svchost.exe, from time to time.  I think having a virus.  Can someone tell me what I have and then tell me how to remove from my machine?  (Also, I've known a slow machine, usually after starts.)

    I have two versions of svchost.exe on my machine.  Tests for a virus showed neither to be a virus.  I tried to delete the version that is not in the c:\windows\system32 folder but am unable to do so.  Can someone tell me how to delete such a file, or to replace it with the correct version?

  • Why vista start 2 copies of process explorer?

    I have 2 XP machines and a dual-boot laptop (Vista/Windows7).  I had Windows Process Explorer in the start menu of all systems for several years.  All of a sudden, the Vista system and only she, has begun to run two copies of process Explorer when it starts

    If I use msconfig to examine the startup items, it is listed twice.  Same thing if I use Autoruns.  If I uncheck or the other duplicates in one of these processes, the entry in the start menu disappears and Process Explorer does not start.  If I go back to msconfig and check either of the references listed for Process Explorer, an entry appears in the menu Statup, but two copies running at the next startup.

    If I use delete to delete one of the lines and leave the other activated, when I restart the boot menu is empty again and Process Explorer does not run.  Single line appears in process Explorer and it is not checked.

    If I check, the whole process starts again, 2 copies running at startup and two lines appear in msconfig or Autoruns.  Maddening!

    I looked in the registry to see if there is something strange, but can find no reference to the Explorer process in one of the places that affect the startup (that I know).  I not even looked in the autoexec.bat and config.sys files.  Nothing there.  I have no idea what is happening or where to look next.

    Can anyone help with this?

    I am sorry to say that I still have no answer.  I have "chickened out" and for now is considering a one-time glitch.

    I created two new administrative accounts and, probably, of note, nor displayed bad behavior to start Process Explorer twice.  However, when I started to try to transfer the files from the old user account to one of the new States, using this new as long as the process of control, I got so deep protection problems that I dropped.  It was as bad as peeling an onion and almost tearfull.

    I had a complete disk image of the Vista disc taken the backup on January 15.  The chance that it was before the problem started (I didn't know exactly when he started) I rebooted it.  Everything was fine except for some Microsoft updates that have occurred since then.

    Of course, it was missing some Favorites (I should have copied somewhere and then restored) and my recent documents list was obsolete, but I'm happy to be back to a single copy of Process Explorer.

    I'm sorry I can't nail the problem, but I got to the point that just fixing it was more important to know what caused it (unless it happens again!).

    Thank you to those who responded and those who have thought about it with me.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC.   • Process Explorer error BES when you try to browse the files and folders; and Internet Explore AppHangB1 when you try to attach files to download in Windows 7.
    Hi everyone, auggy,
    I really hope you can help me with a problem I have on a single workstation at my office.  It is an accumulation of 32-bit Windows 7 running MS Office 2010 Standard.  It differs from other generations in our office because it is used by the head of the team of our accounts, and so it has a number of custom pieces of software that she only needs access (payroll software, etc.).
    (a) you need to click on which will generally be a "Browse" button
    (b) a traditional dialog box opens, but instead which allows you to navigate to the location and select the folder you want, he immediately greys out as if the process explore is falling.
    On auggy recommendation, I've set up a registry key insert that returns the explorer.exe hangs in a dump file, and I am trying to load two reports on SkyDrive - I'll post the URL in this thread as soon as I finished it.
    Can someone help me please?
    Thank you very much!!
    David.
    Hi auggy, Andy,.
    Well... in a way, I am very disappointed, but we will respond to it.
    Andy, I checked and iCloud, Control Panel has not been installed on its terminal, but thank you very much for suggesting it :)
    auggi, when I got back on my colleague's PC, I thought I would test to see if the feature didn't always before considering saving data dumps etc, and it worked fine!
    I left it overnight with instructions for the lady who uses the PC to test this morning and see if it's all workers, and it is still, it seems that the fix does not immediately solve the problem of browser, but there later - maybe after a second reboot or something... very strange!
    In all case, this matter can now be considered closed, so all that remains for me to say thank you very much for your help, you are amazing :)
    All the best, very, very,.
    David.
