  I finished Informatica 9.1 hotfix2 server and client installation in a computer (system) separated successfully.
  Also configured repository and integration of services in version 9.1.
  
  Now, I need to export 8.6 Informatica repository and import is Informatica 9.1.
  
  Are there steps I must follow to complete this process?
  Can someone help me pls with these steps.

  Create a new schema from db with schema of existing repository (with all db objects), try using Infa9.1 to create the repository service pointing to the new scheme of repositry option (which does not create an object in the repository) and then update the repository.

  Another option: uninstall version 9.1, install version 8.6 and restore the repository, once Informatica is good to use and then install 9.1 with upgrade option.

  On one level higher:

  You must do the following:

  1. create with version resposiotry and component repository not versioned.

  2 Add the versioned repository as unversioned in intial.properties, So that their references can be resolved if necessary.

  3. Add the versionedRepository in VersionManagerService (BCC to manage versions of your repositories to help).

  4. Add the component not versioned in AssetResolver (make sure your repository visible in repositories of destination during the mapping of the repository)...

  5. Add the mapping of repository in ProductionRepositoryMapper

  6. in the addition of site (deployment topology) in BCC, repository of mapping for your storage space.

  You can now access your storage space in the CA module.

  If you want to add your repository in search for a Merchndiser, you must configure MerchandisingBrowseHierarchy.xml

  If you want to add your repository on display find, you need to configure MerchandisingFindConfiguration.xml.

  I already tried to reinstall ODI 12 c 12.1.3, but the error message is always the same. However, ODI-Studio run as superuser (known) does not work, even if the entire configuration is lost, for example repository connections.

  Sorry for the wall of text, I thought that some details could be useful. Someone at - it never have a similar problem? Is this a known issue? How can this problem be solved? I have found no information about it until now.

  Remove the following the user-home directory:

  /. ODI/system12.1.3.0.0

  and try again.

  You will lose some preferences. But this shouuld not to be a problem.

  We have an import process that creates and updates the assets, and there are 10,000 items per project, with the average for approval takes on average 2 hours.

  I wonder is it possible to improve the performance of the project deployment to the IAB.

  What about the parameters that can be make in components on the application server or the ATG.

  Have you had a look at the new tool available in trade 11 startSQLImport?

  startSQLImport imports the data from filing of a data file that was created with the startSQLRepository utility. For more information about the startSQLRepository utility, refer to the section importing data from repository to repository Guide. This tool takes an XML file and importing data in a versioned repository using direct database SQL calls. Note that this utility works only with the versioned repository.

  This can significantly improve performance.

  What you might be interested in is this Article of knowledge, that this feature has also been backported to ATG 10.2.0.2

  Fusion reinstalling does not help.

  Since VMware Fusion is trying to download VMware tools, I'll assume that you have installed the file VMware-Fusion - 6.0.2 - 1398658 - light .dmg and not the VMware-Fusion - 6.0.2 - 1398658.dmg containing VMware tools and why I suggested to download the full installer.  I know that I was not specific but when you see the 'light' in the name I guess one would understand without having to be explicit and precise!

  In any case, using the full installation package (VMware-Fusion - 6.0.2 - 1398658.dmg) would have solved the problem because it already contains the latest version of VMware Tools for the product.  Although manually downing tools individual VMware was a quicker solution as not as much to download.

  There's nothing wrong with the file at this URL.  The error message you received was probably caused by a temporary transmission error.

  I downloaded the previous version repository CD - /www/stage/session-31/cds/vmw-desktop/fusion/6.0.1/1331545/packages and install them manually. It works

  I just manually downloaded the com.vmware.fusion.tools.linux.zip.tar file... from 6.0.2/1398658/... and there is nothing wrong with it.  I would say that you use that one!

  Recently, I ran a problem interested. We use the tool of Administration Oracle BI 11.1.1.6.6 version, Version repository: 320.
  
  I'm not able to see logical dimension tab to create the dimension hierarchy.
  
  I followed the normal method as all versions. Business model-> new item-> (no logical dimension). I am able to see the folder to display logical and logical Table.
  
  I have only the client tool on my machine. Please could someone suggest me how should I solve this problem.

  Try to create the same elements in the respective versioned repository and create cmcAbandonedOrders directly in the/atg/userprofiling/InternalProfileRepository.

  You must have all associated min RPM to can install the database. Your DVD of the OS or the installer must have all plans. Do a search there

  Also, please check:

  I installed OBIEE 11.1.1.5, the client gave me its SPR, but when I tried to open this message appears:
  "Server version 308 cannot read the new version 318 of the repository.
  
  What should I do to open the rdp Protocol?

  You must update the RPD to the latest version using ua.bat of \OFM\Oracle_BI1\bin\
