Use Windows Explorer to open the folder containing your catalog. You will see a folder with the extension .lrdata. You must remove this folder, and then restart the Lightroom. Lightroom will generate a new folder of previews.

Im making a new 12.1.1 install the new test server and unziped downloaded media on the disc (not not using DVD). I ran not adautostg.pl because I felt is was not necessary because the downloaded media.

I did the pre-installation steps according to metalink 761566.1
He did uncompress drives then I get the following error and I can't file: addbtmpl.drv anywhere. This is step 2 of 5-> database configuration 92% (RW50004). I can't proceed immediately.

Bridge cannot read the format from my new camera RAW

I just bought a new Sony SLT - A58 but bridge says that it cannot read the RAW format, so, I can't download my pictures.
I went online and found an Adobe Camera Raw 6.7.1 and DNG Converter 7.4 plugins that supposidely would solve the problem. Nothing helps. Still refuse to recognize the RAW format.
Desperate as it's my job to camera and and need it up and runing as soon as possible. I have had absolutely no problem with my older Sony A100.
What's weird is that... If I pass the photos in the converter, it shows me the .dng pictures version, so something is there. Why the bridge can not see my RAW photos? ... and also, leave tons of caches and weird icons in the file, a real mess.
I'm on Mac OS 10.6.8 platform (Snow Leopard) and using CS5... and Yes, all my programs and software are up-to-date.

Adobe has released versions of Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) immediately to ACR 1.0 (which was compatible with Photoshop 7). However, cameras supported varies according to the version of ACR and the version of the Adobe application.

You must match:
- your camera brand and model
- the version of Camera Raw that takes in charge your camera brand and model
- the specific version of Adobe software that supports the version of Camera Raw that you need.
In your case, the Sony SLT - A58 was first based ACR 7.4 - which is only supported in CS6 and later versions. CS5 is not compatible with ACR7.4.

CS5 is certainly not an antique and the A58 Sony isn't a huge technology Hasselblad. I have friends who have a large Nikon and Sony A77 and Canon and import their FIRST in their Bridge CS5.

All that matters is that the specific camera corresponds with what version of ACR - and what applications are Adobe are compatible with this version of ACR.

Can't comment on great Nikon or Canon mentioned above without specific camera model numbers.

However, the Sony A77 is supported by ACR6.5 which is compatible with Bridge CS5 +. Easy to see why this combination works.

Similarly, your Sony A100 was first supported by ACR 3.5, which is compatible with Bridge CS2 +. Easy to see why it works.

Always read the tables linked above Adobe and cross with each other. That should clear up your confusion.

Please help because I can not backup my iPhone 6 Plus for my iMac and iTunes asks me to wipe it.

Cannot copy file: cannot read the source code or drive WINDOWS XP

I'm trying to transfer pictures on my old XP computer on an external hard drive. After performing a backup on the drive hard seagate WD I went looking for pictures on the external hard drive, and they aren't there. I went back on the XP machine and tried to copy the files to a CD but I get the message cannot copy file: cannot read the source code or the player. I can open images but cannot move it to another folder or copy and paste pictures anywhere. The photos are saved in an outdated version of microsoft's digital imaging software. Help, please.

I installed a CD using Windows Media Player AutoPlay as my default for audio CD the 1st song plays, but when I select the next song, I get a red X icon and an error saying the disc cannot be read and it climbs to the 3rd song. So, if I select another song, I get several red X icons on several songs. It happens with all prerecorded CDs that I install. The disks are clean and new and everything worked fine before, but I had my Windows Vista Home Premium reloaded recently. I don't remember if the player has worked properly for reloading. Why can it read well enough to still play some songs if it cannot read the disc. I'm getting confused. Can someone help me sort through this and help me make it work? I'm not too computer, so be gentle. Thank you... Dave

We went just to ESXi 5.1.0 build-1021289. We have installed MEM 1.1.2 and used to configure all of the iSCSI network and has chosen to use our BCM57810 10G cards for unloading rather than use the SW initiator. We are currently on firmware 5.2.6.

We now see this error constantly in the vmkernel logs.

We did all the additional configurations generally suggested - disabled ACK delayed, disable LRO, iSCSI timeout.

I can't tell if it's having an impact on our performance or reliability. He sees not to be. However, these errors constantly fill our vmkernel logs.

Out of curiosity, I went our adapter SW config and I do not get these more. We would really prefer to use unloading iSCSI broadcom cards now that the frames are supported. Has anyone seen else this error or know how I could get more details about this?

The problem is the new broadcom driver, when you use the mode of unloading iSCSI. VMware and Broadcom to release a patch. For now just use the iSCSI SW.

I have a situation or I can say a scenario. It is purely for testing base. Database is on 12.1.0.1 on a Linux box using ASM (OMF).
Standby is created on another machine with the same platform and who also uses ASM (OMF) and is in phase with the primary. Now, suppose I have create a PDB file on the primary of the SEED and it is created successfully.
After that is a couple of log, do it again passes to the waiting, but MRP fails because of naming conventions. Agree with that! Now, on the primary, I remove the newly created PDB (coward the PDB newly created). Once again a couple of switches of newspapers which is passed on to the wait. Of course, the wait is always out of sync.
Now, how to get back my watch in sync with the primary? I can't roll method until the required data (new PDB) file does not exist on the main site as well. I get the following error:

I tried like below:

1 a incremental backup of the primary of the CNS where off the eve also taken primary backup controlfile as Eve format.

2 copy the backup of the watch parts, catalogged them on the day before.

3 recovered Eve with noredo option - it fails here with the same error pointing to the 21 data file.

OK, understood. Try not to get back the day before first, rather than restore the controlfile and then perform the restoration.

Make it like:

1. take incremental backup of primary SNA, also ensures the backup controlfile format.

2. copy pending, get the location of the data file (names) by querying v$ datafile on the eve. Restore the controlfile ensures from the backup controlfile you took on primary and mount.

3. Since you are using OMF, the path of primary and standby data file will be different. (/). If you require catalog data from the database files pending.

(Reason: you restore controlfile from elementary to step 2, which takes place from the main access road). Use the details that you obtained in step 2 and catalog them.

4. turn the database copy by RMAN. (RMAN > switch database to copy ;))

5 Catalog backup items that you copied in step 2.

6. recover the standby database using 'noredo' option.

7. finally start the MRP. This should solve your problem.

The reason I say this works is because here, you restore the controlfile to primary first, which will not have details 21, datafile, and then you are recovering. So it must succeed.

In the previous method, you tried to first collect all the day before, and then restore the controlfile. While remedial classes, always watch seeks datafile 21 as he controlfile is not yet updated.
