Production of help 2 RoboHelp
We use RoboHelp HTML for quite awhile, but now the applications that we document are being brought to Visual Studio, and we must be able to produce 2 help. I know it is possible to use the FAR, or to take our Doc-To-Help .xpj and empty 2 help DBS, but rather, would stick us with RoboHelp. Does anyone know if Adobe has plans to support the ability to produce 2 help with RoboHelp? Thank you.Hi again

When I got my Windows 7 laptop, it was purchased at Walmart, renovated, which means that Windows 7 is already installed. A few months went by, and my keyboard broke. For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. I know that this is perhaps not the best place to get support for this product, however, Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard cannot see their activation server or an internet connection. I went online to see if the the phone activation is available and the numbers that were provided (206-675-6222 and 866-772-3623) are no longer in use. The version of windows is Windows 64-bit 10. The software has been successfully installed and activated, however, an update for Windows began activation of Adobe Acrobat and put it in a trial mode. I have only 1 more day until the software crashes. Phone support would be nice Adobe! When this customer is forced to upgrade it drives me crazy! Unexpected expenses, the time for installation, the time to learn a new product, and invariably you change numbers on me that didn't help things.
Acrobat 8 is no longer supported, is not compatible with Windows 10.
If you are in support of the Adobe number we phone is 800-833-6687 (from Monday to Friday, from 05:00-19:00 PT), but I won't hold my breath. They will probably refuse to help you because of the issue of compatibility.

Missing images in the final product - please help!
I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 to make a video trip to about 18 minutes long. This is my 11th video trip I did and the first time running on this particular problem.
I have done editing and exported to my usual settings: H.264, 1080 p, VBR 2 Pass audio 320 bit, etc..
The travel film is 90% video and photos at 10%. In the final product, everything works fine, including audio / music and title stills (above), but SOME shows photo images upward like a blank black screen. Even the video transitions to work, but their transition in a black screen and transitions smoothly into the next video.
I exported now 5 times total, each time you export taking about 19 to 20 hours. Each time there are DIFFERENT images that are missing. Sometimes the image previously missing will appear in the next export, but the picture that appeared in the previous export is missing in the new. I don't understand why this is happening and I'm beyond frustrated. I'm not about to lose another day without my computer export failure.
I'm guessing that this has nothing to do with the size of the image, but with the speed/performance of my computer 'old '. I am hoping that there is a way out of this because I spent ten days of working on this video...
Please help if you know the solution to this problem - maybe I'd appreciate much all tracks!

Maybe... but try to scaling of images to match your video before importing it

I don't know it was user error, but... I'm evaluating Adobe Technical Communications t (which I never used before) because we want to publish help files on a web site with an existing application running in a .net environment. I looked everywhere but could not find documentation that says:
1. do I or do I not need RoboHelp Server (I think so, but I would like to see why writing)
2. the actual process of publishing on the Web
Can anyone help direct me to where this documentation can be?

In the case to explain, I do not think you need the RoboHelp Server * necessarily *. It is optional and depends on whether you want to use the functionality provided by the server. You can read this article which explains more on the server.http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/RoboHelp/articles/rhserver.html
If you don't need these features, then publish as simple "WebHelp" to support a .NET application would be nice. Or the other method may use the .NET API (also optional) which is included free of charge with RoboHelp along this path on your computer.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\RoboHelp 7.0\CSH API\RoboHelp .NETThe actual process of publish depends on your particular destination and method. For example, they are sent by FTP to a web server directly, or placing them on a LAN drive part where the web administrator can pick them up and drop on the web server.
