• Problem activating old Production Suite

  I am trying to activate an older version of the Creative Suite Production Studio. This is the version before CS came out. Adobe no longer supports activation by phone or chat and told to post this question on the forum. The activation server, that the program is trying to connect is no longer valid and the program will not work without activation. Any suggestions?

  I'm stuck at 99% a reinstall of Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium 5.5 and off Safari on my iMac (Yosemite 10.10.5) by following the instructions. Now I get instructions to disable these options - see above in quotes: where would I find that? There is nothing relevant to "force quit".

  In our Organization we do not allow users to have administrative privileges on their machines - it's just the security policy.  CS6 Adobe have made a decision to allow their products to run with administrative privileges on the local computer only.

  As this is a suite of team we want to be able to deploy seats licensed to anyone actually demand, but these users will probably not admin access to their laptops.  This means that they can not use the product.

  Why the Creative Suite of products requires Admin access to run?

  I think you mean the i7 - 3770K, Titan is a waste of money on such a platform and will only drain your wallet without any performance gain.

  It's much more expensive without any gain. Overkill with such a processor 'low '. The processor and the entire platform is simply too slow.

  I installed the first Pro CS5.5 originally from the trial, later, I installed Production Suite CS5.5. Now in Adobe Updater, I see first twice. They look identical, and the 'update' is the same size for both. I have a bandwidth cap and I don't want to duplicate download of hundreds of megabytes. Is there a way to uninstall the trial?  In Add / Remove programs I see "Production Suite" and first as different elements of line, but both put in place uninstall Production Suite.

  Disable, uninstall both, run Script clean a couple of times, rebooting between install Production Suite, activate and update.

  You must disable before uninstalling the software/system.  Just open one of the programs and choose Help-> Deactivate.  If it is part of a suite, it will disable the entire suite.  Products/suites separate need separate deactivations.

I recently had to 'freshen up' my pc windows 8, when I turned it on, I was greeted without adobe programs that are essential to my work.   Do not edit the Raw files. First specifications vary with each new camera brand and model that comes on the market.

  If Adobe ACR is in permanent catch-up mode in order to include the new Raw specifications for each new camera. In addition, the major updates of Camera Raw are not compatible with earlier versions of Creative Suite.

  For example, ACR7.4 is the current version of ACR and ACR7 + is only compatible with CS6 +. Your CS5.5 is only compatible with Camera Raw up to version 6.7 - so there will be no Raw support for new cameras for your CS5.5.

  So if you want to keep CS5.5 and buy a new camera in the future, you will need to download the free Adobe's DNG Converter and then convert Raw to DNG files. Then, edit the DNG in CS5.5.

  You can install indesign from first pro and installed from d & w award-winning programs.

  There is no reason to buy a stand-alone indesign because you (or your school) has already paid for the same program to indesign as part of first pro.
