Profile for the account of the Ambassador Hall? Where? What?

Hello.

I am doing an Ambassador Hall in MBS (v5.2.110.0), and I said I need a profile (in the default tab the Ambassador Hall), but the list is empty.

But what profiles are we talking?

What is WLAN profiles? I have many of these.

Where do these profiles?

I just don't understand.

I have 2 WLC, both version of the software running 4.2.176.0

Thank you.

I believe that you must create a WLAN profile in the controller that is configured to use Web strategy for security authentication mechanism. On the controller, no WC, it is under the local wireless networks, choose/create comments wlan, layer 3, Security tab, "web policy". You may need to "refresh the configuration of the controller" on the WCS to know the changes.

Does that help?

  • The Ambassador Hall profiles GBA 5.3

We have installed our WCS to AAA through our ACS 5.3 which works very well. Then in order to connect to the WCS for Administration or as Ambassador Hall (to create guest etc. users) the AAA is now over by the FAC, EXCELLENT!

I assigned a user set the role of the Ambassador Hall transmitted by GANYMEDE to the WCS, if users have their configuration of the role as an Ambassador of Lobby and are limited to do anything, as expected.

What I want to know is: with normal local AAA on the WCS, when you created an account the Ambassador lobby, you could give the account a set of default values for all customer accounts created by this account Ambassador Hall, which was good, so Lobby ambassadors failed to configure accounts for unlimited time and stuff like that.

What I want to know now is that since I now do all the AAA on GBA, is there an attribute that I can spend to WCS in the Shell profile, as well as roles etc saying the WCS that creating guest user is default on behalf of the Ambassador lobby, so that we can continue to limit the default values of the guest account who create accounts of the Ambassador Hall , as it used to be? We would really like different lobby ambassadors to be able to do different things as well. that is, the Ambassador Hall X can create accounts for a region. Hall, Ambassador Y can create unlimited time accounts where others cannot. We used to do this by assigning different creation of guest user is default to different accounts of the Ambassador Hall on the WCS.

    Help appreciated

    Hello

at the moment the only solution to your needs is to create local accounts of NCS/WCS with exactly the same username in your ACS, any password. Authentication will be done via GANYMEDE + while the default values will be taken from the local user account. Please be aware that this mechanism is case sensitive.

  • Win7 always tries to connect by using the default profile for the Native WIFI

Win7 always tries to connect by using the default profile for the Native WIFI
I defined a new WIFI profile for my home WIFI network. I use a USB of NETGEAR WNA1100 adapter. The profile is configured to connect automatically. I also moved over the default profile for the Native WIFI. Win7 always tries to connect to the default Native WIFI profile and not the profile that I created. Also, when I restart Win7, the default profile for the native WIFI moves to the top of the Profiles list. Also, when I try to change the default Native WIFI profile to use security WPA2 - PSK (AES) instead of WEP, it allows me to make changes, but he comes back to WEP after it treats changes and attempts to connect to the network. How can I fix so that Win7 will use my profile to connect to my home WIFI network and not the Native WIFI as the default profile. Win7 still connect using the default profile of NativeWIFI despite installing a different profile in Control Panel 'Wireless Networks '. I know that I can edit this profile by default, but anyone know how tell Win7 to use a different profile than the default? I tried to change the positions of the profile so that I want to use is facing up, but no, still uses the default. If I try to remove it, it comes back.
After removing the two profiles and adding the profile for my home network, Win7 automatically added the default profile for the return NativeWIFI. My profile is configured to automatically connect to the network using WPA2 - PSK (AES) security and the default profile for the NativeWIFI (use WEP security) is the Win7 Setup to manually connect. Also, Win7 puts the default profile for the NativeWIFI above my profile. Also, when I delete the profile by default the NativeWIFI, Win7 it always puts back and he goes over my profile. This is starting to resemble the Win7 manage wireless mechanism for allowing users to add and prioritize the profiles of school boards does not work. Here's another thing that happens: when I try to change the security for the profile default of NativeWIFI to WPA2 - PSK (AES) of WEP, Win7 allows me to make changes, but it is up to the WEP after it processes the changes and tries to connect to the network. This seems too much for me, it's a problem with Win7. If I could do this job, so I need not to set up a second profile.
The adapter I use a NETGEAR WNA1100 works correctly and I use it without any problem. I have is with Win7 and the interface to 'manage wireless networks '. It will not honor the fact that the WIFI profile that I created for my home network must be connected to automatically I installed. He always wants to connect to the default profile NativeWIFI even if I set up my home network profile to connect automatically. I can do a manual connection for my home network without problem. It seems to me that it is a question of Win7.
    Kind regards

Thank you very much - Netgear seems to have finally accepted as the default network!  If all goes well it will stay like this

  • Any type of field to add Application Profile for the ESG load balancer? (REST API)

    Hello

I am currently working on adding an application profile to a load on a GSS (edge Service Gateway) balancer. I am using the REST API to add the application profile, here is the functioning of the REST API that I am using.

    POST https://NSX-Manager-IP-Address/api/4.0/edges/edgeId/loadbalancer/config/applicationprofiles

It works fine, but I can't add a type to the message body. Documentation, it seems there is no field to add the 'type' or the Protocol for the application profile as you can see below,

    < applicationProfile >

    < name > http_application_profile_2 < / name >

    < insertXForwardedFor > true < / insertXForwardedFor >

    < sslPassthrough > true < / sslPassthrough >

    cookie < method > < / method >

    < cookieName > JSESSIONID < / cookieName >

    Insert < cookieMode > < / cookieMode >

    < / persistence >

    < / applicationProfile >

Is there a way I can add a type or Protocol to the application profile (that is to say, HTTP, HTTPS, TCP or UDP)? Is there something I'm missing?

    See you soon,.

    Dean

What is referred to as 'type' in the Web user interface, is actually called 'model' in the API.

Here is an example of API for the TCP type below

The simplest way to understand the API call:

. Create it on the Web interface

  • How can I check the color profile for the current document?

I would like to create a script that checks the color profile of the current document and it compares a string, for example "sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1. My studio is a script that performs various functions to make sure that all the layers are visible/unlocked, check the Eparses points, etc., and we want to add a control to the color profile because we support a large number of files and this setting is overlooked a lot.

It's alright if this value is not writable by the script (we can just pop up an alert informing the user that they need to change it), but I can't find where to read this setting! We are currently working on Macs, with JavaScript, but no helping hand in the right direction would be great.

    Thank you!

He appears only in the PDF and HAVE options record and only as a Boolean value true or false. It doesn't seem to be available to scripts.

  • I don't see a profile for the Sigma 8-16mm lens in Lightroom 4.

    Screenshot (11h 23m 47s).jpg

What is a Jpeg or a Raw file that you use? I suspect it is a jpeg image. The majority of objective profiles developed specially for Raw files... If I choose a Raw file and select the type of lens Sigma, I get a list of more than 50 drinks to choose from, including the 8-16 mm. using a JPEG, OTOH, I get the same list of 5 lenses which you are posted.

You can try changing the Raw profile to convert it to use Jpeg, or you can try the community to see if someone has already made a profile for JPEG files, or you could try making your own.

  • What is the disadvantage of savings WITHOUT color profile for the web?

I have discussed this issue in another thread and a clear argument against saving jpg files * without * a color profile must be performed.

I'm very annoyed with how much more red and saturated, all my jpg files appear in IE (which does not read the sRGB embedded profile) compared to FF (which is the case).

I tried to save the image even with the inclusion of unchecked color profile, and of course, IE and FF are showing the same image.

It seems to me that including color profiles with jpg are just an invitation for different browsers interpret the image differently.

Why not just save them all, WITHOUT color profiles?

The downside to this, what exactly?

... IE does not read color profiles. The fact of FF. ERGO, in situations where a color profile is involved, the JPG will be different in each browser.

True, without color managed programs and management the colors may not display an image in the same way. Except in the situation where the color profile describing the color of the image or the color values of an image without a color profile, by an extraordinary chance match the display capabilities of color of the device used by the program managed without colors.

One of the problems that the addresses of color management is that all monitors will display the same color differently. Color management will make colors appear the same or as close as possible.

A color managed program will send the RGB values of the color of the video card corrected to compensate for the differences between how your monitor displays color values and how they are perceived.

For example, to help my Monitor wide gamut, when I create an image in Photoshop, with a red color pure R = 255, G = 0 and B = 0 and then do a screen capture, I can check how Photoshop sends these values to the video card. The result is R = 222, G = 65, B = 0 when I'm simulating an ideal sRGB display. So I can see how my colors appear on the screens of ideal sRGB. However, in reality, it is very likely to have a monitor displaying space sRGB color ideal without a color management, so to complete the color management chain, the other monitors that display my image must also have the appropriate color management to compensate for the differences in screen and display correctly RGB numbers representing the color that I see on my screen.

    mjyeager wrote:

Yes, the image will be the same in both browsers on your and any other monitor but the colors that you create (edit) will examine the way which only see you them on your monitor.

    mjyeager wrote:

I don't remember talking about this earlier, but yes, it's true.

    mjyeager wrote:

... It's true. I have no control over that. However, how including the color profile sRGB with the JPG would give me more control over these things I would not include? Unless you had to tell me that browsers arbitrarily apply a random color profile when in the absence of one, I am simply not understand how including the color with the JPG profile performs one another act that ensure that the picture is completely different in FF it does in Internet Explorer.

You who are absolutely wrong. Color management is not to have any control over how other devices are setup, calibrated, etc.. As I said earlier make sure you communicate the colors scheduled correctly or as close as possible, as long as you and the destination use the proper color management. This means that the embedded profile FF will display correctly the planned colors while IE will not. If you do not include a color profile with your image both FF and IE will not display correctly the planned colors but they will be equal in that.

    mjyeager wrote:

... I understand the need for color profiles to print. In fact, my printer insists on the details when it comes to color profiles.

But for the web? I'm still not understand where the downside is to omit the color profile. It's not like the browsers get CONFUSED when it is not included. Or that the colors will start randomly from refreshing one page to another.

I am really trying to understand what you are saying here, but still haven't.

In addition to what Marian said:

If you create the colors using an sRGB display ideal (given the color management on your system works properly, it can be simulated by color of Photoshop on your range management widescreen when you assign the profile sRGB color to the image) and then on any ideal sRGB display, it will look the same you see on your screen regardless if it's with or without embedded sRGB color profile. However, in reality, it is unlikely to have a monitor, sRGB, display of the ideal space of sRGB color without color management. Now what does this mean in practice? Assume that users interested in, using the IE managed without colors on a PC with the Windows default color management. In other words, color management programs are told by the system monitor displays the ideal sRGB space, which is very likely to be the truth. Then users with this configuration with sRGB monitors will not see a difference between IE and FF when viewing your image with or without sRGB profile, the colors are not very likely to be the same that you see on the screen, but with the difference that is more likely to be accepted depending on how close to the ideal color space sRGB these monitors are. If some of these users with this configuration have wide range monitors, then the image will always be the same with or without sRGB profile, but with a very unacceptable difference of how you see it on your space to sRGB sumulated - strongly supersaturated.

For users that have the color correctly managed systems, when the image is saved with a sRGB profile, it appears color managed programs such as FF the same or as close as possible to the way in which you can see on your monitor. Programs run without colors the case remains the same as that described above.

A little history on how standard sRGB was created. It is a standard, including more things, but above all defining an abstract color space. It was created sometime after that the market was already flooded with computer monitors, and the creation of ideal sRGB color space was based on an average PC monitor display capabilities over time. After that the manufacturers used this standard sRGB as a target to create monitors.

UN-color of programs run on PC have been created and tested using sRGB monitors so that they can't be considered reliable for showing intended to display colors if the images they use have been created using an sRGB they will be in the stadium of this range of sRGB.

As the third so clean installation I did, do you think the pc is to remember my preferences?

    Thanks for any help.

I think that when you install XP and turn on the first time, Microsoft collects information from your system during this process to develop a signature of material that goes with your license and store it away.  Of course, they do not collect any personal information :)

They do it so that if someone takes your XP installation license and tries to apply it to another computer (it is piracy) that the installation would not activate as your activation must match your hardware.

If someone tried to install and activate your license on another machine with a different set of hardware, MS would say, wait a minute - this license has already been activated on another machine, and he could complain.  Then someone has some ' splaing to do.

I suspect that in your facilities in 2nd and 3rd, MS takes a look at things and said... this material signature and the license already go hand in hand, that nothing has changed here, so it is not necessary to activate again, all right.

This is why, if one day you need to replace your motherboard and reinstall XP, even if you have everything and it's all legitimate, you will probably have to reactivate again since the signing of material would be completely different for this license that MS remembers the first activation.  A few small hardware changes, that you can get away with, but if the number of points collected to compensate for the signing during the initial activation is too different, you will need help activating.

In this case, if things are legitimate, you can call MS activation team, and if you can convince them that there is no hacking involved and you just have to change your motherboard, they work with you to get your reactive stuff.

Since you are looking at AUMHA, they have a writing little upward about it here, but there are official documents of Microsoft you can read also ('points' and how they work):
