Profile lens Corrections problem

I recently dug a Sigma 70-300 APO lens (supported in LR 5.3) that I have not used for some time and imported some photos taken with this lens in LR 5.3.

I have an import preset that a Lens profile verified Corrections. However, after importation, the lens correction is not applied - the 'allow the Correction profiles"box is checked, but under"Lens Profile"'Make' it shows just 'None '. If I manually select Sigma in the box ' Do ' the good lens is then applied to the boxes 'Model' and 'profile '.

As I said, the lens is supported and shows herself to be taken care of after I chose to do.

I tried to screw up the "Préférences" folder

Can anyone throw any light on this? It's kinda a drag to have to manually select something that should be automatic.

Hi KevetS,

Unfortunately, choice of automatic objective profile does not always work with lenses non - OEM (it has to do with poorly matched metadata).  On the plus side, we anticipated this and provided a way in Lr to customize your default lens profile settings so that you must manually switch the selection process of profile for each of your images.  Here's what you do:

1. open an image taken with the lens.

2. go in the goal to develop Correction, then select Activate profile Corrections.

3. choose the manufacturer suitable for the lens in the popup to Make (Sigma in this case). LR will try to automatically find the correct profile now.

4. If Lr cannot find the right profile automatically after step 3, then choose the appropriate model for the lens in the popup of model and the desired the profile popup profile (it looks that you need not do so in this case).

5. choose Set new lens profile by default from the context menu.

In the future, newly imported images taken with this lens should automatically get matched with the right profile. In this way, that you don't have to go through manual selection. Basically you are "teacher" Lr what metadata (ID information) is your goal, using an example image.

You can repeat these steps for each lens that has this problem.

  • Support for profile lens corrections are not not in Lightroom 3.2

I installed the Lightroom 3.2 update, which includes the list of support for the 'Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II' lens.  I pulled a number of pictures with this lens (using a Canon T1i) and load them into Lightroom.  In the metadata for the photos, the lens was called "EF50mm f/1.8 II.

Within the "Lens Corrections" section of Lightroom, the option 'Auto' reports "Could not find a profile matching automatically."  I tried manually to the list of Canon lenses, and it is not on the list.

    In the folder

I tried to manually install the update to Camera Raw 6.2, but he noted "update is not applicable."  Given the above file, I suspect that it was already installed.
In the release notes, which entered the Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 II lens, it does not mention that the support was limited to only a certain camera body.  Could someone help me please?  Thank you!

It's just something that can be fixed or is it just a limitation of the lenses full frame wide angle extreme?

I am now bald... so you can guess how much hair I pulled on it!

It's just the result of a lens wide angle. the lens correction attempts to correct the distortion as Pincushion and barrel distortion, but who can make the point of view of even worse edge.

I am under Lightroom 6 on Mac (with Yosemite). Although the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 is in the list of compatible camera, there seems to be no available profile lens corrections and Panasonic does not appear in the list of manufacturers. I misunderstood the situation.

For cameras Panasonic and Olympus, the automatic lens profile correction is supported on all the raw files from cameras Micro Four Thirds.

You a create your own manual profiles.

  • Not able to load Raw camera lens correction profiles

    Hello

as the topic says... I am not able to load profiles of correction of lens and still get the error message. I have the latest version (member of creative cloud) of Photoshop CC 2014 15.2.2 and my Mac OSX is up-to-date. With older versions (when I start from a backup, it works very well! So, what can I do? I don't want to run the PS of my backup folder... He got to work with the real version as well. I change nothing... already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the PS but it didn t solve the problem.

Possibly a reset for Bridge and Camera Raw is in order. First of all, near bridge. Now to organize your Cmd + Opt + shift restart you. A box will appear; Place a check mark on the options and click 'ok '. Now, even once, Cmd + Opt + shift as you "open in Camera Raw."

    See is this help.

I have CC 2015. When I'm working in camera raw under lens Corrections no profile tab is displayed. What is happening with this? I have a color tab and a manual tab but no profile tab.

    Hi stephenr,.

When you open a raw image in Photoshop, it will open in Camera Raw first and you would be able to see the profile tab of sub Lens Correction

However, when you go to the filter menu > filter Camera Raw > then tab of profile is not supposed to be there, and this is the expected behavior.

  • Ideas to explain why, when you work with raw files in LR 2015 with Edit in PS 2015 and use the Camera Raw filter, the profile in the Lens Correction Panel tab is missing

Ideas to explain why, when you work with raw files in LR 2015 with Edit in PS 2015 and use the Camera Raw filter, the profile in the Lens Correction Panel tab is missing? Mac OS X 10.10.5.  I reinstalled the OS and Lightroom and PS, nothing helps.

    Hi ParadigmRose,

This is expected as profile tab behavior does not appear under Lens Correction Panel if you go to Camera Raw Filter in Photoshop

However, profile tab would be there if you open a raw image directly in camera raw first.

You can go to the filter menu > Lens correction in Photoshop, if you want to search for profiles with edit in Photoshop.

    Kind regards

  • I see my profile file of Sigma lenses in the Lr5.7.1 folder - but I can't select it in the drop of Lens Correction

    Hello

I see my exact Sigma lens profile in my Lr 5.7.1 record (SIGMA 150-600 mm F5-6. 3 DG OS HSM C015)-RAW.lcp)- but it's as an option in the dropdown of my Module development lens Corrections unselectable.

    I see it in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0\Sigma\Canon

Sigma Sport version is just next to it in the folder - and it's the only one I can see and select, its name is the same direction except the last part of names p014

How can I make MY selectable lens in the drop-down list?

    Thank you

OK - I thought about it!

I stuck the lens profile to:

    C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0

no other profiles were in it - but after pasting the profile here - he appeared in Lr... YAYY

  • Can I just apply Lens Corrections profile without fixation of the Chromatic Aberration on import?

    Hello

I work with lightroom on OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 5.7.1

I built a lightroom preset with "lens Corrections/Lens profile Corrections" checked as well as the 'process' and 'Calibration '. They are the only 3 boxes checked and therefore "Aberration of Corrections / chromatic lens" is not checked.

The preset apply lens profile correction successfully when I use it in the develop module. However, when I use it on import, the 'remove the Chromatic Aberration' box ends up also being checked in the develop module lens Corrections Panel.

    Is this normal?

Can I just apply Lens Corrections profile without fixation of the Chromatic Aberration on import?

    Concerning

'Remove the Chromatic Aberration' is probably from your default development module settings. I don't know if it is the default value for the installation, but you can change it. You will need to do this for each camera model that you use:

    (1) open a raw file in the develop module and click on the Reset button at the bottom of the right panel area. This returns all your development settings to their default settings.

    (2) check or uncheck the option 'Remove the Chromatic Aberration' under correction lenses as you wish.

    (3) press and hold the ALT key and then click on the button Reset, which should now say "Set Default".

    (4) in the pop-up, click "Update to current settings".

  • Can LR5 automatically apply the lens correction profiles to import?

Rather manually using correction lenses profiles to images each time to correct an image and then synchronize with the rest, I would like LR 5 to automatically apply the correction of the objective appropriate (whether by EXIF info or "default" profile) when importer by the camera (map).  Does anyone know a way to do this?

    Herb

    Hello

Simply create the adjustments you want to apply to the set of pictures / images, i.e. the lens corrections and save them as a preset in the develop module and then apply the preset upon import. The import module allows you to select a developing 'settings' preset using the Panel applies when importing.

  • Profiles of lenses of Photoshop CS6 No. (lens correction filter) for Canon 6 d raw files

LightRoom and Camera Raw have Lens Correction profiles and all lenses available today are in the list for the Canon 6 d of the raw files. BUT the Correction of filter/optics if Photoshop CS6 only have 2 Tamron lenses listed. Weird that there are a of the profiles of lenses for the Canon 6 d raw files in Lightroom and Camera RAW, but not CS6 filter/Lens Correction.

Camera RAW, LR and PS are up-to-date... NOTE: I have a Canon G11, 7 d and 1 d Mark II N and all their files work as expected. It's only the RAW files created by Canon 6 d.

    All of the suggestions.

To the right of where it says the search criteria, click on the small icon of three bars-arrow and uncheck the Match sensor size and should learn more.

  • Is it possible to use automatic lens correction profiles in Camera RAW using Extendscript?

I developed some Javascripts use Extendscript toolkit to help me process batches of files to create videos of time, and

I would like to take advantage of the automatic lens correction profiles available in Adobe Camera RAW (I use Adobe Photoshop CS6 64-bit), but in the CameraRAWOpenOptions, there is no property describing automatic lens correction profiles.  It seems that there must be a way to automate the selection of the checkbox "Activate the profile of lens Corrections" at the opening of RAW images from the camera.  I use Canon lenses and large Adobe lens correction profiles work, so I want to use them.

I am aware of the other way to do this Photoshop using file-> automate-> Correction of the lens, but it seems to work more slowly than to use the lens correction in Camera RAW.

    Thank you.

You don't need to bother... just set your camera Raw "Defaults" to include allow Corrections lenses profile and check the Auto CA correction. Then go to the ACR contextual menu and choose Save new Camera Raw default... Note: If you have your ACR preferences to have separate by default based on the serial number of camera and ISO, you will need to save by default, separate for each camera and ISO values you use.

  • Lens Correction profiles: unable to locate matching profiles automatically

LR3, I can't load the profiles of correction of auto lens for my Canon lenses, which many should be easily accessible. I used the 24-70L 2.8 USM lens and 50mm 1.4 on a recent session lenses and profiles could not be found. Is there a place to download the profiles of LR3 stocks to activate this option? I'm not interested in doing profiles customized right now otherwise.
