• Satelite L750 is slow, takes a long time to open programs

  I had my laptop (satellite L750) for about 6 months now, and it has some problems.

  1. it is very slow for a new computer. Often I type something and it does not save for a few seconds, I open a program and it takes about 20 seconds before it begins really to load, sometimes I click on a program and is not yet open.   This isn't because you have too much, but maybe it loads slowly because many of information processes that are running at the same time.

  Run MSCONFIG and check the Startup tab.
  Here you can see all the processes that will be launched at the start of the system s for laptop.

  Hello, I have a Pabilion HP dv7 Notebook running Win 7 64 bit and I have been meeting his probelems since reciving my laptop.

  Noise runs great, but as soon as the laptop connects to the internet or I try to surf the web, sounds will encounter catastrophic slowdowns. Slowdowns do not stop until what is loading has completed. Even if a background program tries to download a update with no direct action on my part, it will cause a slowdown.

  This happens without sounds, music or voice chat.

  My computer uses Beats Audio. I tried shurtting overall in WMP which would cause it to connect to the internet, but in the end, it does not.

  Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to stop this? Im not sure if the problem is the driver, or audio Beats or WMP.

  Try to use Recovery Manager to reinstall the IDT HD Audio driver (this will also reinstall the Beats Audio interface) - how to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

  I have an iPad 2, 4-5 years old, slow to load programs and falls frequently. Is it time for a new pad or a problem?

  My models of iPad 2 and 3 are running just fine and dandy on the last iOS 9.2.1.

  So the questions is not affects all former iPad users anywhere in the world.

  What free data storage space is left on your iPad?

  Ideally, your iPad needs to maintain a minimum free data storage space of 3-6 GB of space for reliable operation and ensure the possibility of update/update successful iOS.

  In the application settings tab general, right under the spotlight sesrch, try disable the search under the applications who really don't need a research, as some games, remote controls, apps that are really useless to be searched, etc., in order to reduce the list to Spotlight search.

  Try to turn the reduced movement.

  This is found in the application of settings in the general tab, in the left panel.

  In the right panel, look under accessibility, look to reduce the Motion and turn this feature "On".

  You should see a significant performance increase on all models of iPad 2, 3 and 4.

  In the application settings under the general tab, in the right column, search background App update and enable this setting to "off".

  In the application settings, under the Panel of Safari, turn off / disable Safari Suggestions.

  If you are willing to do (I, personally, would not recommend this), some users have reported that turn off find my phone/iPad, in the settings app in iCloud, has improved the performance of iOS, although I have no how this feature could be the cause of such a slowdown in execution, unless it's a bug in the iOS which only affects some iPad users.

  Try an another hard reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

  I read a lot of posts about this error but still cannot fix mine. During the execution of the program realizing measures of error 200279 turns suddenly upward.   P.D.: Error 200279: tried to read samples that are no longer available. The requested sample was already available, but has since been replaced. Increase in the size of buffer, most frequently the reading of data or by specifying a fixed number of samples to read instead of reading all available samples would correct the problem.

  You need to understand why your VI is so slow.  It go fast then slow down over time?

  I see a lot of things that could cause slowdowns.

  1. a lot of Express VI.  VI Express is designed to facilitate the installation and quickly start code.  They are not known for efficiency.  FIX: Use the regular functions of LabVIEW such as DAQmx and file write.

  2. you write to a file within the loop.  File writing is usually slower than other functions.  Maybe your hard drive slows you down.  FIX: Use producer/consumer and transfer the file to write to another loop indepdendent.

  3. you build graphics XY in the loop.  Inside that express the VI, it is continually adding more data in the tables stored in the shift registers.  These berries grow, windows must track more contiguous memory to store the data.  Eventually, it would run out of memory.  What size are these graphs?  FIX: Sometimes delete these graphics.  (EDIT: I see that you have the "erase data on every setting turned on for that call.)  This may not be a problem.)

  4. you write to the nodes property of each iteration of the loop.  Changing the properties of controls can be quite slow at times.  FIX: Write to a property node where the properties really change.  True to the visibility properties Plot writing is really bad, because you do each iteration, that it never changes.  You may as well just outside the loop.

  Your code to see how long each iteration of the loop is actually taken from reference.  Turn the pieces to see if you can speed it up.

  The next thing you want to learn more about LabVIEW dataflow. This is the fundamental paradigm of LV and explain your slowdown problems.

  The basic concept of data flow is any node (node = function, Subvi, structure) can begin to run when the data is present on all its entries and no data will be present at its outputs to execution comopletes of knot.

  How will this affect your VI? The real deal has a wait 1000 ms (actually two, one in each case of the internal structure of the housing = redundant code). The structure of the case will not complete execution until the wait ends. And the while loop does not complete its repetition until the end of the structure of the case. The result: at the exit of the PID.vi = 0, the loop runs at 1 second per iteration.

  What is the solution? Continue execution of the loop at intervals of 100 ms. sure in the structure of matter (true case) and another register to shift of how number of intervals of 100 ms is passed. When the count reaches ten, toggle the output line.  Do not use the 1000 ms of waiting.

  All the code in your internal structure is not necessary. Connect the output remains directly to the digital Arduino write VI.

  Be careful with the comparison to zero with floating point data. If the calculation which produces data has round off errors you could get a value such as 0.573E - 15, but which is not equal to zero. It is better to compare to a small range of values above and below zero.

  Right to left wiring is much easier to follow in trying to understand what makes a program. Using the tool to clean occasionally will help (although he eventually frustrate you also).

  Method 1.

Larger, serious questions can dramatically too slow down your computer's performance. You may have a virus or have need troubleshoot clean start.

  Check to see if the problem exists in Safe Mode, if the computer works as expected in mode without failure, then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state.

• Strange slowdown in performance, many errors in scannow

  A few days ago, my PC started to slow down. The slowdown is not terrible, but it's enough to disturb my work flow. I think that it started after I updated to Windows. Since then a more update is available, but I don't the have not installed.

  sfc/scannow came with few errors. Information is below.

  I wonder if I have to reinstall or something like that - I only have an old recovery disc and no OEM disc. Frankly, I'm afraid to reinstall.

  Symptoms

  1. The permissions seem to be disturbed. I have no hard evidence, but it seems that I used to now require additional measures of tasks. example: sometimes, I can't access/edit files and I have to go in the menu right and re - configure security settings. This security tab now has a message in the sense of "You must be an administrator to do so." Note that UAC has been set to "Never report" since I have the machine and that it is still so.
  2. The files take longer to load and close, and there are frequent breaks "does not respond" when I switch the focus to the app (Word, Outlook, Acrobat 9). For example, it may take a minute or two to open a PDF file, even when Acrobat is already open.
  3. Pages of the browser take longer to open.
  4. If you type gal, especially in the browser (Chrome). I'll start typing in the address bar and the bar of address remains empty, then in about 15 seconds the search results page opens.
  5. Printing does not work, I have to click on the 'Go' button on the printer itself. And it has for a long time "not responding" phases (but eventually print). It can be left long enough impression would begin, but have not tested it.

• 100% CPU usage without a lot of programs running windows 7

  Hi all

  I have a WIndows 7 Home Premium 32 bit OS on a HP probook 4320 s (processor Intel i3, 3 GB of RAM). I have a problem that even if I have no major program (basic prograps such as winamp, freecell, 2-3 tabs in firefox/chrome, McAfee AV), to the use of the processor many times, reaches 100% and the computing experience suffers dramatically.

  I was check in Task manager whenever this problem happen, however I can find no particular trend in usage data.

  Here are the things I tried but did not able to identify the problem.
  -Reinstallation of Windows 7
  -Uninstalling important programs (including MS Office 2007) and to have naked stuff minimum as hp drivers, Open Office, Adobe reader, etc.
  -Change Antivirus of AVG to McAfee and disable real-time scanning. I always had an antivirus in my computer, but this intermittent slowdown of the system never used to happen about 6 months back. I'm sure that no one is facing this problem of slow performance in an i3 processor / 3GB RAM compatible PC because of the AV.
  -Stop web browser at this time, but then system processes like SVCHOST take care of system resources
  -Disable Windows Update

  Is it possible due to overheating problem? I can verify this using my laptop in a room air-conditioned so that cooling is faster.
  My laptop is under warranty, so I can't go as well to HP, but this would be my last resort because their service is just too bad.

  I'm totally frustrated now. Seen two bad experiences consecutive (once in the HCL Office and now in this HP laptop), I am eager to try my luck on a Macbook next time: P

  Download an app called Coretemp, should tell you you're current time CPU.
  It should also list the thermal Maximum for your CPU Model (think that's the Tj temperature on the main window)
  Since you already have form and whatnot and still get the same problem I think it is maybe a hardware problem as a module of bad memory that could be the cause of memory leaks and corruption of some applications. But without looking more closely, I could not say with certainty.
  You can also check the problems of memory with windows memory diagnostic (just search for it in the start menu search)
  next time you start the machine, it runs the memory test.
  You can also try an update of the BIOS for laptop from the HP website.
  Also... BTW... MacBooks are known for overheating...

  I use Windows 7 ULT on a machine with dual processor 2 GHZ with only 2 GB of RAM.

  I wonder how much system slowdown is caused by installation of 70 new fonts and more in Windows 7.

  I know that I can use something like a suitcase or another program of fonts, but I want to just hard install these fonts via the "Install" button in each TrueType font.

  I usually install only one, two or three fonts at a time, but I need to install about 55 fonts more after only about 15 new fonts installed, for a total current of about 300 fonts installed.

  My Photoshop has not slowed with the exception of the first time I open once all the new fonts installed, when it is first of all that there's some new fonts to see, but after that first time, it always opens at the same speed, which is fast enough.

  I currently have about 300 fonts installed, but I wonder if install a total of 70 new fonts today will slow this machine significantly its overall performance.

  For example, will be seen 355 fonts considerably slow down the performance of my functions of browser or web system?

  I found information about the fonts and Windows 7, and it seems to indicate that it takes hundreds of newly installed fonts to really slow things down, or the removal of up to 500 fonts to really make a difference to speed up the system.

  You can not exact on how more fonts you can add different fonts using the memory and processor due to the size and complexity.

  Furthermore, it is only those used at some point that will have an impact on the RAM and cpu.
  This applies to your browser or software which is open and using fonts.
  -Most Windows or tabs you have open in your browser or Photoshop as much stress on the system.
