  Well, you aren't the only one. This just freakin happened to me. I spent the last three hours with apple and Windows supports. Now I'm reinstalling Windows 10 by last resort of Windows support councils. I got the same message USB. In iTunes, under devices something removed my 5s and the iPad. But it remains 6 s wife.   To the file copy stage of the registry would be game.  It could be a permissions issue, you could mount the drive in a different Windows NT installation type and set the permissions.

  If you use Norton, McAfee, Trend Micro or Kaspersky I.S., make sure sharing files and printers turned in THEIR Firewall (or LAN enabled, depending on how their Exceptions are formulated in their firewall) or you can temporarily disable the firewall and check.

  I understand that you have a DVD picture in your SuperDrive drive, but it is not mount on the desktop and will not eject.

  Please, try the procedure described in this article using the disc is ejected.

  Do not eject discs or discs eject slowly
