Project settings for the slideshow for Elements 9

Hello everyone.    Make a slideshow of pictures of wedding with 1000 x 750 with items 9 to pixels.  Should what the project setting I choose?  So there is a lot of the new formula of the video camera for cameras HD, flip etc...  Screen wide, normal, too many choices but nothing for straight shots.

output computer LCD screen, also burn copies for viewing on large LCD TVs via DVD.  Any direction would be appreciated and which setting to choose.  I am at a loss.

Thanks in advance

I would choose the NTSC (or PAL, if you live in PAL-land) DV screen wide, based on which target DVD-video.

With still Images only, you can then allow the output to determine the project.

An additional option, but the preculdes of 1000 x 750, would be to make an HD project, directed by the output of the comic. Then, Export/sharing of the project as a DV - AVI and import that into a project of widescreen DV to DVD-video. We'd still have the BD, HD Project, if they still wish to produce a comic book.

Now, are still native Images of larger files, say 4000 x 3000? If they are, I'd probably go with that project HD, re - to scale the stills of 1920 x 1080, or very similar and to work with those. As there ARE more pixels, has a consideration would be if there are too many stills for the computer to manage.

I try always to work with the material def above, I can, and then down - rez in export (with but a few exceptions).

In short, either the HD project (with scaled stills) and then exported/imported into a project DV to DVD-video, or only from the wide screen of DV and goes directly to DVD-video would be perfect.

Good luck

  • Confused on the project settings for the Blu - Ray?

Worked w\Encore (5.1) a lot of time as the DVD, but this is my first w\BR try so I want to make sure I get this right (thanks in advance for the help!).

The project has a static image (1920 x 1080) and then several animate button video HD which will take you to a video loop "intro" at 1920 x 1080. On this video track, I have a pop-up menu (1920 x 1080 I guess?) which will allow you to select other videos.

    My questions;

Static & pop - up menu is correct?

The intro videos are 1920 x 1080 so no problem there, but the rest of the videos of the project (link to context menus) is all in SD (720 x 480 29.97) until the 'final project defining' should be?

Thus, away from it all seems logical for me until I have to project default settings, they list it as the Blu - Ray (H.264), 1920 x 1080 & 29.97 FPS?

I did a quick test of the only menu & intro videos and it converted the static menu in 1920 x 1080 29.97 but it takes 23.976?

I imported a few SD videos say "do not transcode" according to BR.

Still using the project settings for the menus and slideshows. So if you want a 23.976, then when you create a project, you can choose the frequency of images such as 23.976 in the drop-down menu in the default conversion settings.

As far as video is concerned, if still says not to transcode, then he will write them to disk as it is and yet also creates a calendar based on the properties of the assets. If the dimensions of the asset are legal, then the dimensions of the chronology would be identical to that of the assets.

  • project settings for an old video PE10 passed to 1080i 1080 p by ss14 upgrade how to fix?

    Hello

Today, I tried to resurrect a video that I have almost completed a year or two ago. Only a few pieces were left to do, but waiting for a single element of a 3rd party (a logo) meant that he got unfinished at that time. Initially, I used 10 elements and parameters of the project were 1080 p/25 fps.

Since then, I've updated my graphics card. Pe10 will be no longer work with this card (PE10 is too old to understand the map I think) so finally got upgrade to ss14 having had a bit of respite from the edition since the evolution of this card and PE10 has stopped working.

Project say 1080i settings (which I have never used - I shoot a SLR!) and it appears so there is no way to change this without redo any changes in a new project...!

I tried to do, but create a new project with fps 1080p25 settings, I noticed a 2nd number. Try to place the 2nd clip on 6s20frames in the project turned into 7s0frames. That is to say the timecode had begun to count to 20 fps not 25 frames per second!

I really don't understand what is causing ss14 causes these hassle with images/changes that worked wonderfully in PE10. But for the moment it seems unusable

    Can someone help me

    (a) change the project settings back to 1080 p/25 fps on the original project? (really the most important thing - although I suspect that the answers don't)

    (b) offers clues why a project which runs at 25 fps stupid plays * with time code and how to change it so that it displays the correct value of 25 fps?

Thanks in advance for any help

Thanks for the reply and happy you have managed to create a scenario where the final result was acceptable.

Here is an assortment of information you put together impact the kind of thing you are trying to do.

    1. first installation items included 10 a dialogue so that the user could designate TV NTSC or PAL TV profile. After installation, configure your respectively have the default the Standard NTSC or PAL DV Standard DV project preset. Unless you have changed this setting in the new project dialog box, when you open a project, it would be your project setting if it was OK for your video. In some versions, the project could send a message to want to change it to you with an answer Yes or no to you.

    2. you can't change the preset project when it was established. If the project preset is incorrect for the imported video, you start a new project.

(but, in certain circumstances, there is a way to change the project first Elements 10 settings by editing the document in Notepad of the saved closed project - but that's another story).

    3. When you get to first items 11, 12/12.1, 13/13.1 and 14, other factors enter the picture. Programs are designed so that the the project preset is set automatically based on his analysis of the first file dragged to the timeline of this new project. If the project cannot analyze the video, the project does not give you the closest possible project settings. Instead it gives you, it by default which is HD1080i30 full of AVCHD NTSC or PAL AVCHD Full HD 1080i25. You don't see a new project dialog box, unless you decide to upgrade the predefined project manually via the file Menu/New/Project.

    4. and, to add to all of this, even if you're in a PAL area and despite your installation for the country and language settings, always have the default value of NTSC AVCHD Full HD 1080i30.

But, in your case, we are not talking about setting up a project, it is a project of opening a version earlier than the last.

Of immediate relevance for you now is transfer of project and its media to source from one computer to the other. When you import media into a project, all you get are copies of the originals who remain in their drive hard saving location. But copies of the project must go back to the original to the place where they were when they were first imported in the project. That's when the option to Menu file/archive/copy the project shines to give you a folder that contains the project file and all his possessions. This file can be transferred to a USB key for the folder on the computer 2. Another "Beware of '... If you store the source on an external drive support and move the hard disk from one computer to another, make sure that the drive letter of the external hard drive is the same on both computers.

    Please consider.

Best wishes with your Premiere Elements project.

  • project settings for HD

Hi, I just bought a Panasonic SD90 camcorder (and writer blu ray to my pc) - images of records from camcorder on a SD card in 1920 x 1080 p at 50 frames per second.  I can't seem to start a project with these settings, I seem to have use 1920 x 1080 p @ 25 fps. While the film is visible it is red in the timeline and I guess that will be handed down. We always tells me to match the project to my source material, how do I do this?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Ok.  Technically speaking, CS5 does not project settings that correspond to the sequence, it has sequence settings that match.  The latest version of the Pr where you had to define the corresponding project was CS3, this is why I asked.

    You have two options:

    1. Make sure that Pr properly interpreting your images (file |) Film, I think it was always for CS5 - in CS5.5 file | Change | Interpret images).  Drag the images to the icon of a new element at the bottom of the project Panel.  Or...
    2. Open the dialog new sequence and implemented a customized with 50 fps sequence.  Use the screening of 25 of 1920 x 1080 p as the base and then to change the frame rate under (CS5 general =?) custom tab.

I'm building a DVD in yet CS6, and some of the images you want to fragile/wobbly preview and after that I have burn to disc.  I think it's because the images were shot at 24 fps, progressive and native transcoding for standard def DVD settings are 30 frames per second, interlaced scanning speed.

I could not change the default conversion settings, and research online, I did, it seems that those who are set in stone. I was able to modify the project settings to export a lot of my images, but it did not help the problem. Nor do transcoding the video clip.

The project was originally shot on two cameras - a Canon 5 d Mark iii and a Panasonic GH2. Images of Canon has no problem. Only the GH2 images seems wobbly preview and make. I edited the video file in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, and then exported to MPEG to DVD at 24 p, set NTSC high quality large screen. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  • The difference between the project settings and the settings of the sequence?

As the title says, I don't understand why we have to select project settings when you create a new project. If a project can contain different sequences severel with different parameters, is it really important what are the parameters of the project?

When you create a new project, you are presented with a menu of

the sequence (not the project settings), to choose settings.

You can skip this step by pressing "Cancel", then import your media

and create the type of sequence that best adapts to your images.

A single project can contain any number of different sequence types.

  • Project settings of the AVCHD for a better quality of DVD

I used Pinnacle Studio Ultimate for the past five years with a lot of effects, transitions and rich text content.  I bought a Sony HXR-MC50U and recorded media are set at its highest potetial: AVCHD video format.

Pinnacle has done OK with my same old technical until 45 min length has been reached. I then had a lot of breakdowns of the system.  I know that I can transcode to the good old AVI, but I want to preserve the quality of the video at its highest level.

It is my first DVD of first Pro/Encore project.  Although I am new to the software, plugins Pinnacle are very similar and some are the exact same as hollywood fx plug-ins.  I realized the party edition as a piece of cake.  I'm stuck at the part of the project in again, so I'm here asking for HELP!

    == > My AVCHD info: (24 Mbps) 1920 x 1080/60i 29.9 fps

3 - Importeded video of the internal hard drive and adding clips to a timeline...

    4. - applied Adorage plugin Transitions, double cropped video screen next to a few points, etc...

5 - created new sequence this time for securities and other display information

6 - imported clips AVI 720 x 480 resized to the size of the image and created securities within the PR

7 - new sequence to combine a total of 6 sequences with little video effects and about 1 hr 40 min length then added an audio track that overlap two or three short clips

8 - all projects registered and selected Dynamic Link: sent to the settings still Blu - Ray 1920 x 1080/60i

4 - menu linked to all its sections corresponding, Next, Previous, hand Menu etc... In addition, background Audio croped on a length of the default value for the menu background video.

5 - check project... Checked them all very well... Previewed and works nice

6 - build the DVD Image, gave the image a name, selected directory and 'click '...

After several tries, I managed the menus to render correctly and no mistakes over this point.  If until then "transcoding failed.

I can make and PR, but the quality is considerably lowered.  The main reason I go to Pr is output as many on the final DVD-quality video possible.  I always create image to DVD using Pinnacle, first to save the blank media.  Then test the image and if it's OK I then burn with confidence.

I've updated to the latest versions available all my programs. Pr I ran as administrator to ignore my stuff from the operating system security.

It's been a long week and I hope that someone expert in Premiere Pro helps me understand this error.  I cannot transcode now, or build the project.  I get the same error: failure of transcode

I noticed a red line on the timeline on parts of my project in Premier Pro when adding double video (50 50 screens), transitions, or other video effects.

One last note, I save all my projects and final DVD Image to a server FTP of D-Link with drives mapped to my computer.  It is linked to a 10/100/1000Mps connection on my local network.  Pinnacle does not even notice that it is internal or network.  My read/write speed is the same or faster than hard drives internal: 40-60Mps... Change the folders on hard drive made no difference.

    First with a built-in mpeg2 dvd export.

    Import into Encore.

    Menu and export the image.

    See if this will help.

  • Settings of the project have been to 1080 for my 4 k images, thrown extra pixels?

    Hi people...

I understand that EP 13 is supposed to automatically set the project settings identical to an imported video file.  In my case, it didn't happen... I imported video 4 k/15 fps... and after that I'm done cutting and editing and now want to pan and zoom in the 4 k images, I see that the parameters of the project were actually in 1080.

    Issues related to the:

    (1) why EP did not indicate the project settings for 4 k?  And out of curiosity, wHat makes this EP when a person imports video of various sizes and rates?

    (2) since it didn't, did all the extra pixels above 1920 x 1080 to jump?  I ask because I want to pan and zoom in my 4 k and close up images at least 1080 p for output.  Is it still possible in my current project?  If not, is it possible to take my 4 edited clips of k and paste them into a new project so all the 4 k pizels are intact?  Or do I have to start all over again?

    (3) what does EP with sequences of 15 images/s exported to 30 frames per second?  Does it simply double every image?  It is not interpolate between the ribs, t - it?

    Thank you...

Thanks for the follow-up. I'm glad to hear that everything is going well.

On the application of the effect of panning and zoom in the video with the first elements Pan and Zoom tool, please visit my how on that.

    http://atr935.blogspot.com/2014/08/pe12121-pan-and-zoom-tool-and-video-file.html

You can make only one clip at a time in the workspace to pan and Zoom. Even if you video clips selected together (Clip Menu/Group) in the editing area, Menu/Pan and Zoom tools still sees you trying to use more than one video of group both in his work space and refuses to work.

    You wrote

I have a 'scene' which consists of 3 clips.  I want to pan/zoom the whole scene... so a pan/zoom can continue smoothly one clip to another.

The only way I see that done is to export the 3 clips in a file saved on disk as XAVC-S 3840 x 2160 @ 15 frames per second and then progressive for the import and export again in the program you are working on. Then Menu/Pan and Zoom tools. If you need to export these clips selectively in the working draft, then two criteria

    a. gray tabs on the workspace toolbar must span the area to export

    and

    b. export settings, it must be a check mark next to the option "Share work area Bar only.

Depending on how your Pan and Zoom Tool work progresses, we could also consider making the pan and zoom effects, instead of using keyframing of scale (for zoom) and the Position (panoramic view).

  • Pe11 - do not change the project settings based on the video source

I keep the light in various places PE11 should read my video source and change the project settings for the game when I place it in the timeline in Expert mode, but I don't see any indication that this is happening. No matter what kind of video, I add, the editing mode (and other settings) in the settings of the project remains the same.

I'm working with older clips (smaller than 720 x 480, 25 fps), and none of the presets project apply.

What if the project setting does not match what I'm getting? Or it is made irrelevant by the publication settings I use (assuming I choose good here)?

    Thank you

    Dave

As you have seen, WMVs will not change your project settings. In fact, I'd like to discourage you by their use as source files.

WMVs are a good video source you change in Windows MovieMaker - but they make for a source file bad enough for virtually any other video editing software.

Hi, project settings affect the application even after that the binary is downloaded to iTunes? Can I make an App of law without downloading a new version?

    Thank you!

    Jeff

Thanks for the additional details about your question & scenario.

While in the classic DPS product subscription ID and Direct right Integrator were cooked in the binary app - this is no longer the case in the new 2015 DPS. We moved these elements to be server-side that you saw in the sectors of products & subscriptions and a DPS parameters of the project portal.

You can build & submit your application with in-app purchases. Later, when you want to activate the Direct payment, you can turn on the feature and enter the necessary data (Integrator ID, Bundle ID, create account forgotten password URL and URL) on the portal of DPS, project settings > right Direct (tab).

You have no need to rebuild your application or submit again to allow the Direct payment.

  • Encoding and still resolution for BR vs project settings

I'm a Canon HV20 HDV film editing.  When I configure my Pr Pro project I used the recommended

by default HDV project settings.  I hope that these are correct.  I will burn a Blu - Ray disc for the project.

I guess that like other products I've used, the best answer here is the native resolution of your source that is I hope that what I mean.

Now, when I make via media encode, it asks me the "frame size" / resolution for Blu - Ray disc output.

Also when you open a new project in Encore, he requested similar information.  I'm in NTSC land.

I am familiar with the standard HD and the resolutions and the final outcome of this project is a Blu - Ray disc played on the HDTV.

However, what is the best media settings encode resolutoin and still "image size" for a Blu - Ray with an HDV source disc?

I've seen several articles and videos from Adobe on these parameters, and they explain what they are, but not what are the recommended selections.

Once you work on a project in PP can as an observation, you change the settings/resolution of the project?

    Thank you

PS... Didn't know which forum to post this in as it spans all 3 products!

Your source is 1440 x 1080 MPEG2. Your final destination is H.264 - BR with 1920 x 1080 (i.e. with square pixels), because the h.264 compression is more efficient than the MPEG2, so you can either get better at the same rates or the same quality with maturities with H.264. Audio is of course a 5.1 AC3 file.

I would skip the intermediate step suggesting Ann and export directly to your final destination with the MRQ. If you do this PR, guests of MPE accelerated for scale and effects/transitions, that you can use and you will have the smallest possible loss of quality.

Please keep in mind that still is still a 32-bit application, so that can make the extra difference between PR and FR for transcoding. By encoding in PR jump you a transcoding step IN.

In my case with elements PAL, I would use these export settings:
