• Video cache everything in projector mode!

  I have a M4V video file embedded in a Flash movie, and I need to play Flash animation in full screen using the Macintosh Projector format. When the Flash file is done in Actionscript 2, everything appears as it should, but if the Flash file is done in Actionscript 3 (who needs of the individual, because it uses frames), then the video fills the entire screen and hides all the rest. I figured out how to prevent the scaling to fit the screen (set the scaleMode to "noScale" property parameter) of the video, but it still shows the video in the center of a black screen. How can I do to stop playing with the file and just play the @# $! video where I put it?

  If you use a flvplayback component, assign the fullScreenTakeOver property to false.  If you use another method to play your video, use the help files to see if there are identical property to the class that you are using.

• BlackBerry Blackberry World film Z10 is not displayed in mode landscape on the projector

  I followed the steps to preview (with the intention of renting) a movie (SkyFall) via Blackberry World

  1. I have connected my Z10 for my projector (Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8350) via micro-HDMI port

  2. the movie preview appears correctly (in landscape mode) on the Z10 but it appears Potrait of the projector mode (title by an angle of 90 degrees higher than a normal landscape mode). I tried to use the Rotation lock, but that did not help.

  This seems to be a fault as when I look at my home made movie via a maker of projects it correctly the movie landscape on the projector and my Z10.

  It is affecting the publishing service (and will result in the loss of revenue for Blackberry) and issue of IMO that should put you out a patch for this problem as soon as possible. If you have a screen sharing session, I'll be more than happy to have a. If you want pictures of what it looks like on the projector, I'll be more than happy to provide those.

  Additional features that can help...

  -While the film is presented, there should be a possibility to tilt/reverse the image which is projected to the projector via the micro-HDMI port - this will help you control the projections of film on the projector.

• FLV to mode full screen projector buttons?

  Full disclosure: I am a user of very basic level!
  
  Trying to create a projector that contains FLV files and other items on the screen.
  I have a button "myFSButton" on the screen that passes the projector mode full-screen.
  However when we click on the button file FLV plays full screen rather than expand the
  scene all in full screen. I wish I had the zoom of any full interface when the button is
  Press.
  
  I tried a few different was to switch to full screen, but both have the same effect.
  
  All first using fscommands:

  I finished recently update my laptop after an OS re-install and updates over a period of 2 weeks.

  I want to be able to play a video with windows media player by a projector.  The last time I did (before this whole saga has arrived), I was able to play the video on the projector mode full-screen, and still controls the media player on the computer screen.

  The problem is - I forgot how do.

  I managed to connect and drive the projector OK, so there is no problem.  I can't remember how to organize the media player to run in full screen on the projector with the controls on the laptop.

  I discovered how do - just move the Windows player (mainly) on the projection screen, and then press ALT + ENTER to switch to full screen mode.  On the screen of the laptop, and then drag the Windows Media Player.  In this way, you have the controls at your fingertips and the presentation in full screen on the projector.

  I create a CD user interface model and I'm adding features. I'll have to scale proportionally as a projector and MAIW. I need support the view full screen too. Each MAIW must evolve independently. I have AS2 SWF Player 7. I have the SWF and FLV files. The player bets may be as low as worm. 5 to version 10. Is less important that I'm looking to always show 100% of the sovereign funds and always 100% vertical Sun.

  Q1. The advantage of Flash (SWF) boasts a #autoSize framework - how to ensure that the #autoSize has the default value so I can test the scale. I put it when I browse and add or update my SWF.

  Q2. Should I an event handler search if a user updates the scale of the projector? -the stadium? And if it's a MAIW? Where I would put the one event handlers, two or three?

  Q3. Since it's code I don't rewritable (and reuse over and over again), would one of you like to answer with your versions of code for these two actions of scaling on the fly for projectors and MAIWs? I find that I spend all my efforts of debugging on the use of orders orders of Manager for the commands/actions that I in never again, exceptions and quirks undocumented. I really don't want to recreate the wheel. It will not provide additional Professional or programming knowledge when these scripts will for me.

  You can define and check the scale property of a Flash member by selecting a Flash member in the cast, and then by clicking on the Flash tab in the properties panel.

  You can test and set this property with the jargon using the scaleMode property (look in the Scripting Dictionary for usage instructions)

  When the main stage or a MIAW is resized a resizeWindow event is broadcast. You can take this event in a movie script or behavior, for example:

  The method you choose to manage resizing depends on the nature of your project and your work style preferred. So it's not really possible for me to answer that question for you... and TBH I'd feel like I was giving away a lot or a time to R & D if I was just to tell you stuff that I use! But I'll give you a few pointers (and TBH you learn more to work out the details for yourself)

  (1) If you want to allow the window to be resized to any size you need build a framework that can apply the resizing for objects in your movie. Think in percentages, for example a text box that is placed at the point (100, 100) on a scene that is 1000 x 1000 could be considered to be positioned at the point x = 10% y = 10%. When the user resizes the screen, you can translate this position of percentage for an absolute position in pixels which is calculated from the size of the resized window. The same principle applies to the width and height of your sprites. Bare in mind, however, that if you try to zoom the screen (rather than increase the surface area of the screen) then native things like the Director text boxes does not increase their font size unless apply you this principle of percentage in the font sizes. Also bare in mind that the calculations you use may well involve float values, whereas the position of your sprite resulting / dimensions must be integer values.

  (2) If you want to switch to full screen mode and that the content of the window to scale accordingly, it is often easier to resize the screen resolution of the user that he should create a whole resize frame. You must consider that the monitor of the user might have any of a number of aspect ratios (4:3, 5:4, 16:9, 16:10 are the most common), but you can work around this passage your projector mode full screen (so that the background color of the movie will fill the screen) and then determine the resolution of the monitor that corresponds best to the native size of your movie. Bare in mind that your film would still be the same size, it's just technology will be presented at a lower pixel resolution. Also, don't forget to restore the screen resolution of the user when the film closes or they will accuse your program to dirty their computer.

  Hi, someone of you know about this? :
  When I connect the ethernet cable to Dynadock, internet connection a few seconds, then it isn't for another few.
  And when I connect to external monitor (benq g2420hd) laptop monitor is still on its black but still shines... I'm in the projector mode only of course.
  I tried a new drivers, new software link to display...
  My laptop is Dell Inspiron 5010 740QM but I guess that it doesn´t matter much... Thank you

• S440 and Onelink problem

  I just bought S440 and among Dock Pro. I have two external monitor attached to anchor. When I turn on computer using the power button on the dock I can not login if laptop lid is closed. It uses monitors and S440 monitor is the primary monitor alltough it is closed. So I have to open the lid, open a session and close the cover. How can I connect without having to open the lid? I use Windows 7 Pro and updated all the drivers and bios.

  Problem solved! I have to use "Only projector" - mode instead of 'Extended '.

• Change in 2100 display problem HP Dvt6...

  Hi people,

  I use HP dv6t-2100. As usual, I locked my screen. While connect again, I was typing a password and I accidentally hit the Windows Logo + P key that activates the projector mode and I do not remember what option I chose.

  But now the question is when I start my laptop, it starts fine, and then starts windows Logo shows next to the logo screen, the screen goes black. I don't see.

  I thought and connected the external monitor cable into the port on the left and I can see on my laptop. The i support again on can I logo key + P unplug the projector, then come back and disconnect the cable from the external monitor, screen disappears again. I also tried a simple screen, multi etc, but on my laptop, I see only displays when an external cable of the monitor is connected, I unplug the LCD cable, the laptop LCD screen goes black.

  It is also notable that my external monitor is turned off but its cable is just plugged my laptop which makes to display.

  I want to get rid of it, so I can get my laptop on his own back LCD screen as it was before.

  I want to mention, there is no HD or change soft, etc..

• Inspiron 15 3537 no HDMI output

  Hello, I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 3537, there AMD Radeon HD M 8670 and integrated Intel HD graphics (Core i5-4200U) and it comes with Ubuntu preinstalled 12.04, and I also installed Windows 7 on a different partition.

  Video output only the computer laptop is an HDMI port, however, it does not work. It cannot detect the connected external displays and recognizes only the own laptop screen (Intel WiDi on Windows).

  I think I have tried everything that I could do:

  • Tried it with 3 different working HDMI cables, did not work
  • Tried with a Samsung TV and a LCD monitor, did not work
  • The Diagnostic tool system that you can run before starting the operating system indicates no error.
  • The Intel or AMD Catalyst driver detects the display connected
  • I tried Win + P (projector mode), didn't work
  • Update the drivers (for Linux and Windows) did not help
  • The system update did not help
  • Beta tried and drivers AMD open source, still did not work
  • Tried to turn on the release of Linux command-line xrandr (amdconfig) did not work

  So what else can I do with it?

  I brought it to the shop, and they sent to Dell service. The repair took exactly one month (probably depending on where you live), and it was free. They replaced the whole motherboard, and now it's working properly.

• Timeline hide files?

  I have a project that will be deployed on CD and online via a projector. I need to hide the entire project, so that the user does not see the magic that happens off stage when running in projector mode. I got my layers of chronology carefully packaged in folders, but I can't hide this way. Can I split each layer and stack them under the mask, but that leaves me feeling a bit "exposed" ;-). Is it possible to maintain the layer organization and always a mask for the scene when running in projector mode?

  convert your mask into a movieclip and hide the main timeline with the help of actionsript.

• No video on the second monitor (DLP projector) in PowerPoint 2003 presentation mode.

  When you use PowerPoint 2003 in presenter view, videos will not play on the second monitor which is a DLP projector. Video plays and produces the sound, but no picture. Videos play fine in clone mode. Using Dell Latitude D820 and windows XP pro

• possible bug in colorTransform-related mode full screen (projector and standalone flash player 10)

  Hi all

  It seems to have hit a bug in the current drive (tested on 10.1.52.14):

  If I programmatically change the color of a sprite consisting in a text and a circle the output is different if the application is in mode full-screen (the text is not colored in fs)

  In my class mousedown event handler I call the following (slightly simplified the code to make things easier to understand here):

  var cTrans:ColorTransform = new ColorTransform();

  _hColor =0xD78500
  Recolor the clicked sprite
  cTrans.color = _hColor;

  this.transform.colorTransform = cTrans;

  This is what I get in windowed mode (expected behavior):

  I can switch between windowed mode and full screen and the text gets colorful or not, as stated above.

  Anyone got clues about what's going on? I mean that's not supposed to probably not be that way...

  Well I tried to make a projector and do not see with it, but then again my install puts 10.0.22.87 in the projector.

  I could try changing the Sprite to a MovieClip and see if that helps.
