Certifcation document used to protect my application a PDF file. Have encountered a problem where in the document of certification becomes invalid. AM also able to reproduce the error when working with PDF files outside of my request. Here are the steps
1. create a PDF with the text 1 field. Set a default value in the field for example Testing
2. certify the document using file-> save as Certified Document
3. close and reopen the document. There is a message bar of the document on the top with the text 'this document's certified... »
4. press Ctrl + F, and then find the value in the text field (say, Test). Search text is highlighted and selected.
5. go in the advanced-> sign & certify-> validate all Signatures.
6. the signature of the certification becomes blocked and the message bar becomes "Certification is invalid.
Has anyone encountered this problem or any idea why this happens?

It looks like the find function creates a tree outline Ghost (aka bookmarks) to facilitate navigation in the file. When you re - validate the signature of the function of validation detects the hierarchy tree in memory, said to herself "that doesn't belong here" and transforms the invalid signature.

I know what your next question is, when this will be fixed and why I don't have an answer. It's an interesting edge case, but actually the file is not damaged by the fact that it happens right after the signing. Given that you can close and reopen the file and the signature goes back to be valid is not a high priority bug. I wouldn't seeing a fix for this in the near future.

Context of the sequence becomes invalid when the runtime is longer

I have a sequence that loop for about 70 k iterations (which is pretty huge). The sequence called a subsequence where the inhabitants of the sequence called are modified. Question is, around 65 th iteration k, I get an error message indicating that the reference of the local past is invalid. The number of iterations when the error occurs varies from one computer to another, but always in the 65 k range. When I try to run another sequence (a single) consecutively, I get an "out of memory" error I guess the reason why the local reference is not valid because TS execution stops when the memory TS gets the complete decision-making context of sequence and therefore the reference local section not valid.

I would like to know how to reduce the consumption of memory of TS because I disabled the result of record for all the result of sequences (Configure-> Options of Station-> run), disabled registration for each iteration of the loop, optimize no reentrant calls thi sequence is also enabled. I even tested with just this sequence of sequence and I wonder if there is a maximum number of threads of execution when a loop.

TS runs successfully - no problems.

Try to jump steps (one at a time) in the sequence of sub to know at what stage leads to this question.

Also try to reproduce using a simple sequence (that you can post online).

Recently (1 week) ago reconstruction and cleaning of the PC, responsible recently purchased W7Pro32bit with activation on the coverslip DVD key. Key agreed at the time with no error message. I mentioned this to the dealer yesterday and received a reply confirming today that it was an OEM disc and a key. They were also perplexed as to why there was a hardware error code during activation. I tried the phone activation service that worked seamlessly. I am now fully active and legal; Topala also shows the original key installed despite previous warnings.

In short, I am now a happy Bunny so thank you to all who responded, but I'm no further forward in the understanding of why the activation failed initially. I do, however, consider this thread closed.

Hello. I'm using LabVIEW 2013 for myRIO on Windows 7. Im trying to perform a simulation to the readings of sensors from 0 to 5, then disconnect the data. Ive used the random number generator to get readings. So my code works very well (or almost), as ive used reporting to stop several loops with a stop button. I put not too many timers. I'm using TDMS files to save data. Ive opened a common PDM file in which I want to connect 4 different reading groups. Im getting the error '-2501', 'invalid file reference '... In your attachment VI, you wired 1 'TDMS open' with 4 'TDMS shut. " If none of the "TDMS Close" has been run, the other reference has become invalid 3. This is why you are having error-2501 and this is the expected behavior.

In fact, 1 'TDMS open' should only be connected to 1 'close TDMS"and make sure that"Close TDMS"is called after all the PDM operation. You can put it in a 'flat sequence Structure"to solve the problem. I modified your VI in the attachment.

Paging becomes not a "refnum" when passed to sub vi

In my main façade VI I generate a semaphore at the beginning of the program. This semaphore then goes into a reentrant under vi clone (and subsequent clones). When the semaphore reference is passed in the first sub vi it becomes invalid and probes as "not a refnum" to the right of the entry of the Sub order VI.

I hope that the solution to this is something simple as this program worked fine from the semaphore along. I tried to reconnect things just to make sure that tehre are no error connection caused by erroneous clicks but no change in the result.
