Protect pdf file within an organization by e-mail domain

Want to know if we can protect a pdf file to be accessible within an organization through their email ID. Example:

If there is an xyz Agency then the pdf file emailed to them should be protected in a way that is accessible only if the entered email is the domain of organizations that is @xyz.com

"Their email ID or entered email" I meant that the pdf file must be protected so that it is accessible only by the employees of the respective organization through internal identification of the organization only and restricted email access to any layperson.

    Hi stupiddonkey,

You will need to remove the password from the file (using Acrobat, not reader) before you can convert it to Word. To do this, choose file > properties, and then click the Security tab choose no security in the context menu of the security method and enter the password when you are prompted.

    Hello

Please provide us with more specific information on the issue. Your post is a bit confusing.

If you need to open the PDF files, you will need to install a PDF reader.

If you try to print in PDF format, you must install Adobe Reader.

  • Commenting in a protected pdf file does not work on iPad but on PC

    Hello

I am just placing comments in a pdf document, document which is protected.

Only extraction and modification of the composition are disabled.

If I use my PC with Adobe Reader, everything works as expected.

Only with Acrobat DC on my iPad, Annotations do not work.

How can I change this behavior?

    Thanks in advance

    Chris

    P.S. the iOS 8.3

    Adobe Acrobat DC 15.0.3

Security tab ob that is attached to my pdf file (sorry, only in German)protection.JPG

    Hi Chris,

When various restrictions of document are applied to a PDF document, the PDF document will be encrypted/protected.

Mobile products Acrobat DC (for iOS and Android) have the known limit where the changes cannot be saved in encrypted PDF documents.  As a result, users are not able to make changes (addition of comments/annotations or forms) for encrypted PDF documents.

As you already know, there is no such limitation in the desktop version of Adobe Reader or Acrobat.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Change to the protected pdf file

    Hello

I asked this before, but I can't update on it because of a technical problem... told me to zero security and give the password if you are prompted.

I get a pdf file where I'm not able to change, if the change function is there in the version (9.0 c) and able to modify the normal PDF. The one where I'm not able to modify is protected probably to change. So, how would I be able to make changes to this. I'm not the owner of the file. And the password is not known or lost. What is now the solution.

    Kind regards

In this case, you can't do it with Adobe applications.

Is it possible to make a password protected PDF using modules form or we have need of others as the security of the documents.

We use a platform of Adobe LC v7.

You must remove the password before the PDF Forms.

    Hello

Is the PDF "protectedPDF" by Vitrium?

Currently, mobile products Acrobat DC (for iOS and Android) do not support PDFs with DRM (Digital Rights Management) by third parties.

I'm not aware of any other free mobile applications that support documents "protectedPDF".

I advise to use the desktop Reader on a Windows or Mac computer version to view PDF documents. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Passsword protected pdf file

    Hello everyone,

I bought a pdf document protected password, the seller gave me a password, but I don't know where to put I use Adobe reader 7.

PS it does not ask for password when I open the document, but it can not print or copy text.

The password you have can be used to remove security restrictions, but you will need Acrobat to change security.

  • PDF file association not found in Live mail

If a message received in Live Mail on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit computer contains a PDF attachment, this attachment cannot be opened for Live Mail. The Word attachments and others can be opened.

When you attempt to open the part attached PDF, informed message that "this file doesn't have a program associated with it for performing this action...". "If the file is saved on the local computer, it can be opened normally, as the file association is correct. This is confirmed by typing assoc .pdf in a command window and reception of the answer ".» PDF = AcroExch.Document ".

How to open PDF documents from Live Mail is possible without saving them first.

    Thank you

    Ron Carruthers

I had this same problem, the idea of Bruce Hagen I tried and it didn't work. So I tried to know how to reset a file association using Google and someone, in response to a question, pointed at the Windows registry altogether different, more precisely the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT section.

So I took the .pdf subkey in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, make a backup (export) and simply deleted. I then associate a random file of PDF of Adobe Reader again and guess what:
Now it works again in Windows Live Mail! Yoohoo!
Looking at the key later, I also saw that the content had changed, for example he says now a Content Type and in the "standard", there is "AcroExch.Document", like some came with 'assoc .pdf' in the command window.
This makes me guess that Windows 7 is perhaps a bit 'sloppy' when reassociating one type of file, because this happened to me after that I removed an older version of Adobe Reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader 6) and installed the latest version.
I really hope that this will solve the problems, others here! It really saves me a lot of frustration here! ;)

  • Password protection. File PDF, Passwor protecting all of the contents of a folder

  • Print PDF files protected by Word configured to not allow users to print?

My password protected PDF files together is not to allow users to print. However, they are still able to print. I checked the settings of security over and over again and I don't want users to print the pdf file still prints. It seems that Web browsers allow the PDF to open it and passes the printing of security settings. Is there a solution? I'm using Adobe Professional 11.

Security password PDF, with the exception of the Open Document, are on the honor system. Non-Adobe applications may or may not honor the settings. Even with Adobe applications, security is easy to remove. Several online services will do this for free. This can be frustrating as a provider of PDF, but occasionally made me happy as a PDF user cause dagnabit if I want to print I'll print!
