PRS-950 Google browser broken link

Since last week, I was unable to access the Google link on the home screen of my Player browser. The other links provided by Sony and added Favorites work very well. If I have access to the page of Google using Internet Explorer 8 on my desk, the page appears correctly. This link looks like it's Google Mobile: http://m.google.com/m/.

Instead, my player will return this:
This page contains the following errors:
error on line 1 in column 39: unsupported Shift_JIS encoding
Here is a rendering of the page up to the first error.
The rest of the page is blank.

Anyone else seeing this? I have not found a solution on the Sony site and wait to hear eSupport. Maybe a problem with the browser from Sony or a change in Google that does not support the Sony browser?

A number of other people with mobile devices have had the same problem with Google on the time of your post. It should be fine now that he seems to have been a temporary technical problem, however if you are still experiencing the issue support Sony produces a call to report:

  • How can I remove a broken link?

You don't really know if there is a better way to put it. Basically my browser is to register a bookmark, but nothing more than his name; no location, nothing (see the url of the image: http://tinypic.com/r/2n1z4x/5).
It cannot be deleted or moved or whatever it is. It isn't really much of a problem more that all bookmarks below don't appear in the menu of the toolbar, but I don't want it if possible.

Because the bookmarks file is actually readable in Notepad ++, I think it's the broken link (given the entry until it is the bookmark located directly above the toolbar):

    {'index': 2, 'title': 'Tags', 'id': 4, 'parent': 1, 'dateAdded': 1357947259755000, 'lastModified': 1357947259755000, 'type': ' text/x-moz-place-container', 'root': "tagsFolder", "children": []}

Assuming that is the question, I would be fine in just this deletion or would do a different course of action?
Would be back up and then restore the question clearly?

  • cannot repair broken links

    Hello

I've got broken 267 links on a single page, all the images.

There seems to be no difference between the survivors of the links and broken links,

I tried to fix the links in the link Inspector and the properties panel, which failed.

I think that it can take a long time to fix, so I don't want to go down the wrong paths, especially with me being a relative newbee a whole.

The page in question is here:

    http://denchworthponds.co.UK/pond%20Construction.html

It's a site heavy image in which each image has

a miniature, a miniature bearing and a great lightbox image that is activated when you click on the thumbnail

122 links are OK, 267 links are broken.

I didn't notice before I downloaded the site as happening in "Preview in browser".

Maybe the problem is in my code - I hope so.

Would it be one of the following values?

1 / the pictures are in the image files in the folder of images on my local site, it's a bad habit to have folders in the folders on my local site? (i've got charges)

2 / since registration (for the Web and devices) the images on my local site, I have many of them reopened in photoshop for alteration of the image, I was checking for an increase in file size so I did change the images, but do not see. Then, of course, I saved their return in the same folder with the same name etc. Was the problem that I simply recorded images and is not saved for the Web and devices? -they were already optimized. (some images have been changed manually, others using the Actions palette)

    3 / some of the file names are probably not friendly DW, for example;

the pond6thumb4 file is located in my 12pondbuild6 4/11 folder,

DW reads this folder as 12pondbuild6 4% 3 a 11 - that is the problem?

(and, as I say, this folder is inside the Images folder on my local site)

The mystery to me is that 122 links are not broken, and I see no difference between the survivor and the broken links. It all seems a bit arbitory.

I'm running CS5.5 on a 2007 iMac core duo desktop computer.

    Any thoughts anyone?

Thank you for your time and greycells in advance

    -Shaun

Yes OK, it was indeed the names of folders:

    change 12pondbuild6 4/11

    What DW reads like 12pondbuild6 4% 3 to 11

    at 12pondbuild6

-and then you can fix the link in the link checker

    -I think he'll be a night loong.

  • Broken links to the network shared folders by users

    Hello

Several people here at my office working on files work InDesign InDesign files with links to the image on a network share file store.

If a person links, the next person to work on the page, on another workstation, but access to the same network, there are all broken links and will have to repeat all - sometimes quite painful if the images are not all in one folder; You must navigate each involved folder and find the file in question.

Rarely, this happened in CS2, but is happening now quite frequently in CS4. What has changed? And why is it so difficult to re - tying things now? It seemed that when we could not link something new in CS2, it gave you a little help. For example if you were re-login to a given file, if you navigated to the appropriate folder, you will find the file already highlighted. No more, it seems.

If something has changed in the way that InDesign maintains links?

How can I avoid that links broken all the time? Is there a quicker way of restoring links?

    Thank you

Assuming you're on Mac: what you see in the Finder may differ from the actual path of the Unix.

A possible cause is that if you get the same volume of different user accounts, reboot just to fix it.

Another cause is an empty folder in the Volumes folder, delete to fix.

To check, drag the image into the web browser. The URL can show variations in the volume name, as one '-' appearing in annex 1.

You can also take a look at the links, low link info panel. The 'path' value must be enabled.

  • All local folder, HELP for broken links!

Hi, please someone tell me what to do! I called Adobe support for a minor problem with too large design showing display in the window. (the selected page displayed.) She had me remove preferences and then check... same problem. She had me then move the configurtion file on the desktop and try it. All broken links. Put us back and all the links still broken! 1000 of them! They suggested to get the site from the server, but I'm afraid of and don't know if that will fix the problem. (I don't want to touch the site on the server for fear that I'll mess up the good only copy). I called back and spoke to another representative who said to uninstall and reinstall Dreamweaver... then reset all the settings of the host server and passwords and add the Dreamweaver site folder. What is the right thing to do? I'm afraid to do anthing at this point. Please someone help!

I found the answer, just in case someone else gets stuck. What happened was by removing the preferences file, we changed unintentionally a crucial main framework for sites based on the root of the site and no 'document '. The box under "Preview in browser" should be set to "preview using temporary file". We almost created a whole new site and got the site from the server, thinking that we had all broken links. It's just that by removing this folder somehow when it has been recreated, some places were different. Hope this helps someone else.

  • previous image is visible after the page turn on the screen PRS-950

I can clearly see the shadow of the previous image if I turn the page on my drive, and next page has no duplication of text or photo.
Say, previous text clearly visible if you view an empty page or an image.

What is a factory default or current behavior at PRS-950 daily edition (and other newer models)?

It is normal if the page was present for an extended period. to resolve this problem if the page is hard to read, tilt back a few times and it will be clear.

  • Re: Satellite L300-214 PSLB8E - update Bios broken link

    I had the laptop Toshiba Satellite L300 - 214 PSLB8E.

Since a few days, I checked the Web from Toshiba site against Bios upgrade and found a new bios, finally, the link is broken. He points to http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/bios-20090430112041.zip; I checked http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/ and couldn't find any close file of that date (30/04/09).

    Can someone indicate something?

    Hi mate

I found some similar discussions on the broken links to the BIOS update and I think that there is a server problem I think you should try to download the BIOS in the next few days

  • Identify broken links referenced through the smart album

    Hi guys,.

I work with LR and export my photos in a floder I download later in Photos, due to its integration in OS X for viewing, sharing, etc...

I use the option referenced in Photos app to do not copy the photos twice on the hard drive.

As I sometimes delete image files in the finder folder, I have a few photos that have a broken photo link.

I want to identify these photos so I could remove them in Photos.

I would use a script for this preference, but that I don't know, I was wondering if I could have all these images link broken in a smart album to delete manually.

Photos already has a smart album to identify all referenced images, but not that particular option with broken links.

Do you have an idea for this?

    Concerning

I would use a script for this preference, but that I don't know, I was wondering if I could have all these images link broken in a smart album to delete manually.

I doubt that a script to access information on the State of the references.

The only properties of a media element that are accessibe in Photos are:

What you could try would be write a script, which tries to export all the photos in your referenced photo album.  and if export encounters an error, catch the error and add a keyword to the photo.
