  I just started using LR5 on a Macbook. Before that, I used an Imac and various, computer desktops and laptops.

  I was never interested to the configuration of the zoom levels because I never needed too. Good post, and when the image has been enabled, it zoomed.

  On my Macbook, the zoom level is medium-low when I click. I don't know if it's just a feeling because of the smaller screen, but I feel like it's zoomed in much less that I'm used to. I searched a lot on the internet everything I do and responses (through the browser or the view menu) it never registers the parameter. It seems that what I want is an image made according to standart and a 2:1 zoom when I click on the image.

  How can I make LR keep this configuration? It is very annoying to have to change that, whenever I start LR5.

  I re-read your original post. You want that stick through a fence of Lightroom and reopen? Lol there is not a way to do it. The zoom settings are dependent on session.  You can bop around LR everything that you want, and they will stick through the session but when you exit the program adjustment and 1:1 are restored.

  I converted a PowerPoint document in PDF format. The PowerPoint includes images (GIF, JPEG). When I move my cursor over the image in the PDF I created, I see the path to the file C:\User\User Name\Photo\File Name.JPG.

  Is there a setting in the PDF file that I can "unselect" so I do not see the path of the file when I hover over the images?

• Safari now closes when you click on the address bar

  Hey all, recently I went to a Web site with a pop - up I accidentally clicked while trying to scroll down around him. After clicking on the pop-up a new tab tried opening that I immediately closed, as well as the 1st original tab open. I have then double click the home button on the iPhone and crept up to close the application currently open safari. But then when I restarted safari, whenever I click on the URL address bar to type something, it immediately closes on my safari. Now, I'm not completely clueless when it comes to try to empty the pop ups, I have delt with the "FBI warning all ' on my and several other phones... so I tried the history of obvious and this compensation that not, but still my safari stops if I touch the address at the top of the page bar.

  So far I have tried:

  1. Double-click on the House, by sweeping up app close
  2. "Restart iPhone' holding the home button and top 10 seconds
  3. ' 'Parameters '; Safari. " 'Clear the history data and the Web site '.
  4. DIssbling JavaScript in 'advanced configuration' for safari
  5. Entered into airplane mode / click on the address bar - still farm safari down
  6. Loading of several empty tabs and clicking on their URL

  And just to be more specific, if I copy and paste a link I am able to visit a Web site... but again if I go to a website and immediately click on the address bar it will close and restart safari.

  OR if I load up Safari in 'Private' I'm finally able to click on the address bar and type websites like Google.com and it works perfectly fine, but if I get out of private and try to type in Google.com, it closes...

  Any ideas?

  Go to settings - Safari - clear the history and data from the Web site.

  If that doesn't work, reset your device. This will not erase your data stored on the phone.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button

  Here's my problem: when I click on the URL bar (where the url for websites (or name) is written for ex right now: Apple Inc. is written in green.)  Safari closes and gives an error message and asks me if I want to send an error message I did to Apple. I can open Safari again, and if I click on the url bar, it closes, and continues to go. He had yesterday, started having the problem this morning, that I did the last update, so my software are all updated, but the problem persists.

  Sorry if I look like I ask the same thing again and again I REALLY don't want to hear it, but just beyond bizarre. There is no reason crap for photos to just upward and vanish.

  OK how bout this. Assuming the photo library you meant the images library, like the one on the little box in the file Explorer, users, go to start, computer, drive C, and right-click on my pictures, and then select Properties. If this was not the 'official' picture library, go to the folder view these photos and go to properties it there instead.

  Now on the shortcut menu, click previous versions, wait list to fill out, when it does, click one of the folders that was before the photos have disappeared and select restore.

  Essentially, this will make the pictures folder how was the date that you have chosen your photos, then all must return.

  Hi there I do retusch on digitized images and when I move the tool between the dust spots cloning it changes the image slightly. Just noticed and got a wedge after working for several days.

  -Does anyone know how to put the cloning tool to avoid this chang during the movement of the tool on the image?

  It is possible that your Source region is quite different from the target area that the Clone tool is not the most effective use.

  Another reason is that you have put a sample of Clone of hard edge.

  I suggest you use the Spot Healing Brush tool to remove dust spots and see if that solves the problem.

• When I use Paste the Image to the Clipboard as stamp tool, I can't resize the image.

  Add a picture as a stamp of release in our .pdfs. Normally I can resize the image to fit what I need.  Sometimes, it works fine and I can resize the image.  Other times I can't.  I used "Ctrl-V" to paste.  I used paste the image to the Clipboard as stamp - and sometimes it works and sometimes it isn't.  I have not been able to find a consistency in when it neither does not let me resize.  Thank you!

  Resolution: Do not cross the Clipboard. This path does not support maintain them quality image files.

  You have a beautiful image that you like. Insert it into a Word file empty.
  Size and configure as desired by using the tools that Word provides. Record.
  Create a PDF file. With the help of Acrobat create a stamp that uses this PDF file. Record.

• How can I find the images that have a resolution below 1920 * 1200 using search in Windows 8?

  I'm trying to find images in a folder to have a resolution of 1920 * 1080, but can only find how to search specific sizes - what is useful, but not what I need.

  Search for width and height.

  Example - if I had a folder (with subfolders even) I wanted to find all moroccoin who had a lower width to (but not equal to) 1920 (which is what you say, to halfway anyway) then I'm looking for:

  If I wanted all the images to a width smaller than 1920 and height less than 1080, so I'm looking for:

  Width:<1920><>

  (... which is what said you you wanted.)

  Of course, who does not account turned images where width is now 1080 and the height is now of 1920.  ;-)

  If I wanted that all the images that are less than or equal to a measure...

  Etc and so on...

  All of this assumes that images have been properly encoded with metadata, indexed, etc..

  Note that I added the width and height to the columns for easy sorting - heck, that could solve your problem here.  Go to the root directory (all subdirectories has included in this one you can photos on) and research of *. * and with the width and height columns add, once the search results show all the ions of files files - click one of the column headers to sort (say by width) and you will find a list of images in all of the folders located under him you started with a width of all together, etc.

• Where are the images that have already been imported?

  With the help of LR CC, suppose I have import the images in a folder using the copy and that I rename the files as part of the import process. Later I try to import the images in the same folder again, but all the images are dimmed in the dialog box import indicating that they have already been imported into LR.

  (1) how can I find the images in LR? I can't filter on the name of the file as the files have been renamed to import. There must be a way because LR knows that the files have already been imported even if they have been renamed so how do I find in LR?

  (2) how LR knows that the files have already been imported when I try to import the second time? He can't use the name of file to compare the images that are in the catalog with the images that I am trying to import because the files have been renamed when imported originally.

  My last suggestion re 'Date' should work if you have the original images in the computer.

  I am referring to the "Capture Date" of the images in the metadata, this would remain unchanged even if renamed and copied.
