  Hi all
  I want to filter my report with two date, you get dashboard quick presentation variable and others, I'm subtracting 7 days from the date of entry.
  
  Here I use the filter in advance as sql

• Issue of documentation on the particulate IMAQ 3 filter

  Sorry if this is immediately obvious, but:

  IMAQ particle filter 3 documentation, it is said: "Type of precise measurement that the measure be in pixels not calibrated or calibrated to actual values." It's a Boolean input value, but it is not clear to me who is associated with "true", and which is associated with "false".

  In this case, "true" means calibrated values real, and 'false' means pixels not calibrated. I have tabled a CAR to make it more clear in a future version.  Thank you!

• JDEV 12.2.1 table filter compensation issue

  I know that the filter clear custom on its own table when leave us the page. So I m manually clear the filters before navigation.

  But when I go back to the original page 1 and click on search in the search panel, no data is loading. I mean there is no future search results.

  When I clear the filters manually, I m however see this message in the newspapers. Guidance on how to solve this problem is really appreciated.

  I have a transient in the original Version, called attribute as 'SelectedRow' that I m using in the column of the table as a Boolean checkbox to select several lines and do surgery on them.

  But I had already seen the momo blog and have this code instead. But what is happening is when the filtercriteria.clear is run, the transient selectedRow in my VO attribute that is set to the value "false" is also trying to get cleared by default and that's when I was getting error createTemporaryBindVar mentioned in my original post.

  So I modified the code to be as below and it started working.

• Issue using the presentation as filter condition variable in reports

  I have a problem using the variable presentation as a condition of filter in my reports, the details are the following:

  We want to implement the Max and Min variable through variable presentation only.we are unwilling to apply it in this case through session variables.
  We have two variables MIN and MAX to be used as Variables of presentation, to a column of the report (which is a quantity), so that the user wants to see the data in this column in a particular range.i.e the Min and the Max.This part was well put in place. The question is when the user wants to see comprehensive data. In this case we will spend not all values of these two variables of presentation or in other words we do not limit the data in the report so we do not any value to the variables, it's when the report is throwing the error. We want to leave this empty variables in this case.but is in error.

  Hi Forreging,

  You can use variables of the presentation, but not if you directly set the SQL via the Advanced Options tab.

  Instead, build up the first report like the first part of the statement of the UNION. Then use the "combined with a similar request" to build the logic for the second part of the query.

  When approached in this way, you can set filters on each "subquery" via the criteria in other tab, OBIEE allows you to add an external to the level of the query filter when you go on the road to the SQL code in the Advanced tab.

• E4x delicate issue of filter?

  I Googled it for a day. I have not found answer. I have an xml with inlets tag man node. I want to tag entries based on a filter condition. Here is a sample of my xml data.
  
  
  I want to search all the nodes of the tag with the given string somewhere in the value. For example, I want to find all nodes with 'book' in them. All of the examples of e4x on the net talking about filtering based on the attribute of the current node or child. But not the value of the node it self. I am newbee actionscript. I wonder if there is a way to do it. I know that I can use for the loop and iterate on each node. I'm looking for the e4x expression that made it easily.

  I thought about a way to do this. Thanks for your example that has a call to text(). That's what I did.

• Problem with report filter (security issue)

  I'm having a problem with a filter on one of my reports. We report a listing all units of the organization. Unity in this report can be clicked to go to B report that shows the details of this unit.
  
  When a user accesses A report, they should be able to see all the units, but if they click on a unit that they are not Member, B report should show no results.
  
  If they click on a unit that they BELONG to one, then the B report should display correctly for them.
  
  I have a session variable that gets their unit number and confirmed that it works.
  
  My filter on report B is:
  The year is invited
  AND
  (Unit is equivalent to / is in NQ_SESSION.) Unit AND is invited)
  
  I'm assuming that this filter only results would show if the user clicks on a unit (in the report) that they belong to. However, what is happening is that if a user clicks on a unit that they belong not to them, it still shows the results in the report B for this unit.
  
  Does anyone have ideas on this one?
  
  My only other option is to use a CASE statement on report with URL GO so it only allows users to click on the units they belong to- but I would rather avoid that because go the URL isn't really open the report in a page that maintains the appearance of the rest of the dashboard.

  When you click the button filter options, you will see the option for the filter to protect. This limits the filter unchanged after the wick down. I guess your session variable to work properly.

• My filter (for ads) works for some shippers, but not for others

  Apparently, I clicked on something bad. Quick filter does not have a way to 'Cancel' or 'back' or 'show all' or 'cancel all filters' or just go make my emails visible again.

  Under filters for Tb shows < myid > @illinois.edu > and local folders. I place all my filters on the imap server. My strategy is to filter special categories in local folders and then to match all the (remaining) messages and send them to my local Inbox. For example, if a message contains the text 'Julie-list' in the subject line, it is moved from the server to the JULIE folder in local folders. The last operation moves all remaining messages in the Inbox.

  This system worked properly for a long time, but recently, things have gone wrong, and I don't know exactly what is happening. For example, frequently (maybe always), at least a message for JULIE file also gets copied into my box of reception and sometimes several. If duplicate messages were unique instead, I suspect a timing issue; for example, messages to see Julie-arriving after JULIE filter ended. However, the messages in the Inbox are exact copies of those already placed in the JULIE folder.

  I'm not sure just how the filters work. Here is an overview of the relevant elements of the filters:

  I think that the filter "Matches all messages" was the culprit. I see now that it was superfluous, and things seem to be back to normal. Problem solved.

• transparent filter problem

  I regularly visit a Web site were members of the community can submit/attach photos with each submission blogfeed on their own profile page. When more then 2 photos are submitted/joint there are only 2 thumbnails shown and one line "and x" (x = quantity of photos).
  When I clicked on this line in the past, I could always see these photos in a new window, but now, I got the message "Clear filter" (very often) What should I do? The website (home page) is excluded from pop up block.

  Where can I find documentation on how to create message filters for * all * things that can be tested? The only use of examples of body, or object. I need to be able to test the Content-Transfer-Encoding.

  I tried selecting "Content-Transfer-Encoding" with the value "base64" but it does not work.

  I think that would test the first copy of this header, rather than those in the various sections MIME.

  However, I use Thunderbird to capture junk spam control settings, so are not really the issue that you want to filter. Have you set up and trained your filter auto junk removal of these emails to junk.
