  I think you need to be in Expert mode in the editor of 13 EPS, and then they are listed under the file menu.

  

• Installing PSE 8 for Mac trial version

  I just downloaded the free trial version of PSE 8 for Mac - or I thought I had.  I'm done with the Akamai Customer installation icon, the image of PSE_8_WWEFDJ drive and Adobe PSE 8 (a blue disk) icon on the desktop.  When I opened, or either of the latter two, all I have is the read document Me.  I was hoping I could actually use PSE 8 and compare it with Aperature before deciding what to buy.  I did something wrong or is all that I can with the free download?

  After that I opened the PSE 8 for Mac, I click again and try to open a picture in my library.  Instead, I get the error message "Could not complete your request because of a program error."  How can I fix the program error?

  What library? You try to use the file > open to delve into the iphoto library? Don't, don't. If you use iphoto you must set the PES as external editor or export the photo on the desk before using the file > open to post-secondary studies.

• RAW images do not appear in Bridge CS4 for PSE 8 for Mac

  I just download PSE 8 for Mac and my raw files no longer appear as thumbnails.  I can open them in the elements, but the image is empty in the bridge.  These same images were fine in CS3 (PSE 6 for Mac).  I downloaded and installed the new Camera Raw 5.6 plugin, but that did not work.  Any suggestions?  Thank you!

  You should update bridge separately from the PSE, and the bridge comes with a fairly old version of ACR. Just go to help > updates in the bridge and it will be updated for you.

  I recently bought PSE 8 for Mac (running 10.6.2) after having used the trial version for a few hours. I'm PS 7 known (Win version), but discovered that I can do about 95% of the things I've done with 7 PS. Note: this does not mean that I used all the features of the PS 7 lol. In any case, work with it for a few days now and I must say I'm quite impressed, but... where is the registration of the Web dialogue box? Or is it Windows function only? (If so hurray for documentation.) I know that I can choose all kinds of file types when you use "save under...". ', but for me it is not optimized for the Web. On the other hand... If it's...   You will find that much, a lot in PSE will not work or does not just when executing a standard account, unless you go through the whole of the change permissions on all folders for the EP, including making save for Web separately. It was simply not designed to run from nothing, but an account admin, for some reason strange adobe. This thread tells how for PSE 6, but you should be able to understand the equivalent files for PSE 8:

• How scan to work permanently in PSE 12 for MAC?

  Hi all

  When I installed 12 PSE on my Mac I found that the scanner does not work. After much searching I found a lady who discovered that you will need to drag the two files to a different location. Everything worked well. So Adobe has announced an update and it did not work. After a search even more, I discovered that changes very, I did to get scanning to work also disabled the auto update. So unfortunately, I've rearranged files the way they were and the update worked well.

  Then of course, I couldn't analyze more. I have a workaround: use PSE 6 whenever I want to scan, save the file, then open in PSE 12.

  Now if it was software open source I just laugh and click on my tongue and move. However, I paid $ voucher for PSE 12 and I expect that it works "out of the box.

  I obviously can't move the two files again to where they were and whenever there is an update I could reorganize, update, reorder, but seriously, there not a way to solve this problem permanently?

  It's interesting. I certainly feel like the upgrade to version 13! (in addition to being an unlucky number, I can't believe they let this issue in PES 12 without fix it) However, I do recommend Barbara and the option drag this time. This will create two copies of the file scanner and I hope that it will work. As you say 99jon it will probably not updates to worry now that they have abandoned all users of Version 12.

  4630 for Mac HP printer will print but will not scan. New & installed software that recognizes the print configuration and computer. When ask to scan get message see this "scan to PC". Can't find where to put "scan to computer".

  To activate the scan of the computer, see the procedure below:

  Restart devices and check the settings of scanning driver

  Restart the computer and the printer can restore the connection scan options analysis, and then check the settings for scanning on the Mac.

  1. Turn the printer off.

  2. Make sure that the printer power cord connects directly to an electrical outlet and not by a limiter the power strip or surge protector.

  3. Close all programs currently running on your computer, and then shut down the computer.

  4. Turn on the printer.

  5. Turn on the computer.

  6. On the desktop, double-click Macintosh HD, click Applications, click the Hewlett-Packard or HP folder, and then double-click the HP utility.

     NOTE: If the HP utility is not in the folder, go to the step install the software for your printer HP.

  7. Under scan settings, click Scan of the computer, and then make sure the enable scanning to computer checkbox is selected.

  8. Try to scan.

  If the error persists, proceed to the next step.

  I just bought c. 8 for Mac, and there is no check box in the Prefs to get rid of the "bottom filling workspace", its me can also use v. 8, because I do not see my office.

  First of all, you can resize the PSE 8 window, making really small if you want, as follows:

  

  However, if you really like this effect cling-to-the-edge-of-the-screen donut of the PSE 6, you can have. Just go to the window menu and turn off the Application Framework.

• PSE 8 for mac and iphoto 09

  I read on the elements 8 for mac page it works easily with iphoto. My question is how?

  I don't see anything in the documentation of the elements on the use of iphoto and when I try to access the iphoto library via file > open and select iphoto library and click Open, I get a message telling me that my request could not be performed because of a program error. I use iphoto 09. I am new to both the elements and the mac. Can anyone help? How the components work with iphoto?

  With iphoto, you have two choices:

  1. set the PSE as external editor for iphoto, then send your images in iphoto to PSE when you want to work on them. Save, not to save as, and iphoto will remember a version set + original, although you may need to change the preference on first save in EPS to allow you to do.

  2. export your photos on the desktop, open them in PSE via drag and drop or file > open, save files published under a new name, and then reimport the files edited in the form of new images.

• Why can't I just copy it from the Finder Clipboard to editor of photo in PSE 15 for Mac

  I copied a photo (.jpg) image to the Clipboard. I check the contents of the Clipboard in the Finder, and the image is there. However when I go in the PSE 15 photo editor and try File/New/Image to the Clipboard, 'image of the paper' is gray as if he is not an image in the Clipboard. This is a bug or I'm missing something. Help.

  -To copy the image to the Clipboard, first Open the image in preview.

  - Then using cmd + c to copy the content.

  -Now start PES.

  -Go to file-> new-> Image to the Clipboard.

  Image will get open to post-secondary studies.

  This is due to too much of * adobe.com cookies in the browser.  Remove these and download the file.  It is a known issue, however, I do not have an estimate as to when it will be fixed.

  I'm under PSE 8.0 with ACR plugin installed 5.5.0.97

  Following some of the links seems to suggest that I should be able to install ACR 6.1 but all links lead to a version of Windows that I can't install it. What is the version which is supposed also to install on a MAC?

• 14 of PSE for Mac validation serial number problem

  I bought Adobe PSE 14 for Mac OSX El Capitan.  I downloaded it, but when I try to install it and I insert my serial number I get the message: unable to validate the serial number for Adobe Photoshop elements 14 this.  Not sure why it didn't work.  Suggestions anyone?
