• PSE8 Organizer and editor of PSE9?

  I gave up organizing PSE9 but I would use the PSE9 Editor.

  Is is possible, without having to manually load each file edited in PSE8 Organizer?

  As far as I can see it just is not possible to obtain PSE8 Organizer to recognize the PSE9 Editor as an alternative Editor, changing the names of .exe files to attempt to deceive the it or full.

  Yes, it can be done. That's how I did it.

  Copy the editor of PSE application to another folder such as My Documents.

  Rename the file - I called mine PhotoEditing

  Then replace the file in the folder of Photoshop Elements 9

  It will be an exact duplicate of the original installation (indicated by the red arrow)

  

  Open the PSE8 Organizer and click:

  Edit > preferences > editing >

  Check the box - use one additional editing Application

  Click Browse, and then navigate to your renamed file.

  Unfortunately, this view is no longer available in PSE9. You can display only one folder at a time.

• PSE8 Organizer not automatically playback media card

  Hello

  I have a client who use PSE8 Organizer and all of a sudden he stopped to read the map support automatically. My client believes that this happened after an update of Adobe Updater.

  They say he used a simple process to place the card in the card reader and then a pop up window would be where they would select the icon / program to PSE8, but the icon was gone, and when you click on this link, my client has been presented with a message saying the link was broken. I have advised my client to uninstall the program and then to reinstall, which corrected this problem i.e. the icon and the back, and when you click on the link there is no message.

  However, it is that it will, the link produces no result and the media card is not read.

  If my client accesses the card as a file via PSE8 Organizer then images are displayed, but even once, are not automatically loaded into the application.

  My customer really want restored auto.

  If someone has had this problem and knows how to solve it please?

  The computer is running Windows XP 32-bit SP3.

  The only quirk I see is that the application is installed on the external hard drive instead of the hard drive internal normal. Would this cause problems with the application?

  Make sure that you select Organizer PSE and not PES Editor.

  It may be necessary to click Browse in order to select the right application.

• How to refresh the tags in PSE8 Organizer

  The command Edit > update thumbnail will be re-read a time photo, caption, rating, number of stars and GPS/map location.  But unfortunately, it is not re-read labels - for the tags, you must re - import the photo.

• PSE8 Organizer - search results for Odd keyword tag

  Question for example of marking in the Organizer 8 elements.

  I have 2 friends Bill and Sandra (keyword tags), they belong to the same sub-group "Friends."

  Now, when I'm looking for PSE8 Organizer Sandra e.g. by check the checkbox for 'Sandra '. Photos much more only Sandra appear the result set. For me this make no sense at all.  BUT on the other hand, if I create a subcategory of "Sandra" and tag the pictuters even with that, then I have no problem. Only pictures of Sandra (as a subcategory) tagged will be present in the result set.

  Since your labeled image "Sandra" is part of a battery, when you search for 'Sandra', PSE 8 shows the full stack. For these photos, where 'Sandra' is not labeled, PSE 8 shows red icon at the top left of the image to indicate no match.  This is also true for games version as well.

  Had your images is not part of the stack, PSE 8 would have shown you only photos marked "Sandra."

  I have a laptop which has Photoshop Elements 8. I just had the trial version of Photoshop Elements 9 and it loaded electronically on a desktop computer. I want to join my catalog since the office laptop.

  Use the backup and restore for in PSE. An external hard drive is better, but the CD can be used.

  1 make sure you back up on the laptop

  2. use the TLY file created in step 1 to restore on the desktop

  Even the folder with the name you mentioned doesn't work for me. You can try one thing it of say in the GET media from the files and folder dialog box, select the file type as "All Files" in the menu drop down to the bottom of the list and see if you are able to see all of the folders.

• Elements Organizer and Image Editor differences?

  I noticed that the images displayed by Photoshop elements Organizer are noticeable different from the display of a picture of the item editor file.  Why does this happen and is there a way to fix one or the other shows.  Generally, the image of the Organizer seems to have more color saturation when the image is displayed in the editor.  As a side note, the same image in the Photoshop CS5 Editor seems to look the same as it does in the element Editor.

  Other information: I have a 64-bit Windows 7 system with two calibrated monitors.  It does not matter the image that appears on what monitor - the image of the PSE organizer always has a greater color saturation.

  The Organizer displays a miniature version of the image while the editor is made the actual image.

  They should be very close, but in the values of saturation.

  You can try to right click on an image in the organizer and selecting thumbnail update to see if the newly generated tile is better.

• Problem with the editor attribute PULLDOWN

  When we use the Editor menu attribute drop-DOWN we know the following behavior.

  We have a definition of the content with a non-binding string attribute which is an attribute of pulldown editor configured with queryassetname.

  When its use in the contributor interface following the chronology of the events:

  (1) content > new asset

  (2) assign a value in the launch menu displayed by the editor attribute of pulldown

  (3) save

  (4) modify the same assets and try to put a value empty in the attribute that is assigned pulldown attribute Editor, but it is not possible because there is no possible empty selection to leave blank the value of the attribute as it was by default.

  Hi Pedro,

  There is a default created for the problem you describe: Bug 17562306 - menu DEROULANT ATTRIBUTE EDITOR not IS NOT HAVE WHITE VALUE for the OPTIONAL ATTRIBUTES.
  However this applies only when you use name QUERYASSETNAME instead of element tags to populate the attribute PullDown.

  I just did a quick test to create a new attribute to dropdown using element tags and it worked fine when I set a single value, saved and then set empty. See screenshots

  

  

  I was able to find a workaround for the active query name, it is to add value, then you can use it as a vacuum. See below:

  Add a null value line in the query of the assets of the query result.  In this way, there will be a null value to select in the drop-down menu to remove the value.

  for example SELECT name as the value of the status of Content_C WHERE<>"VO" UNION (SELECT NULL FROM DUAL) ORDER BY VALUE asc NULLS FIRST

  Of workaround seems to work for the attributes of optional or required string using this attribute of menu editor drop-DOWN with a resource request.

• I bought Photoshop elements 12 loads of the Organizer, but the editor just churns

  I bought Photoshop elements 12 at Costco, the organizer of the charges, but when I click to edit a photo, that the app says to load the editor, gets my ID and password, and then just churns and barattes for over an hour (and I tried it several times).  It stops when I use the Task Manager to stop it.  I cannot edit my photos and am about to take that back.  Elements 7 works perfectly.

• PSE8 Organizer clean?

  My Organizer catalog for PSE 8 file is about double the size you need - there are tons of disconnected vignettes and missing files because of a computer breakdown I had and had to move files from one drive to another.  I tried to import into a new catalog for clean - but miss me all my albums and all tags fall under the heading 'Other' to the place where I had them and the subcategories have completely disappeared.  Is there a way to clean these files easily?  Organizing PSE10 is not better for this?  Also, is PSE10 faster?  Recommendations or advice would be appreciated.

  In your new catalog, are all OK?

  Are they all connected?

  All have the correct tags associated with them?

  If so, open your old catalog and use the Panel tags keyword for "exporting keyword Tags to lead."  Who's going to export tags and maintain their hierarchy of categories.  Then, in your new catalog, import this file keyword tags and you will have your old categories.
