• Open PUB file attachment that I did not, says set association in the Panel do not know how. Someone can help me.

  The message has an attachment that comes from an old version of my computer and the flyer in the attachment was conducted in the PUB file.  The box arrived that I don't have the file to open it and go to the tool, the information bar and click on unlock and it does not work either.  He also says to define the association Panel and I don't know how do either.

  Always get a result zero

  If I have a file ".doc" or ".wps" then it works OK

• Windows 7 indexing does not index the Publisher files

  However hard I try, I can't do the function of the index to include my .pub files

  I have a good number of Publisher files and hold the position within to include in my search index.

  I put advanced indexing .pub files are included with the properties and the content and informed me he puts a filter of plain text in place.

  However, after that the re-indexing is complete, he finds only three hundreds of .pub files on the hard drive and any of the content.

  You can search the .pub file by using its file name. Unfortunately, it is not possible to find a file .pub via its content.

• Files created in Publisher does not keep a transparent image as transparent when recording in pdf

  I created a file in the editor 2016 and used an image as a background with the text on top. I adjusted the image to 70% of transparency, it is nice and light as a backdrop. After saving my as a .pub file, I did a "save under" to create a .pdf file to send by e-mail. I do it ALL THE TIME without ever having a problem.

  For the last week or so when I did, the pdf has the background image like 0% transparency leaving the text unreadable. I tried the following:

  • restarting my computer (Windows 10)
  • Use transparency 0% but by adjusting the brightness and contrast of the image
  • unchecking the button "ISO 19005-1 compliant (PDF/A)" which was a suggestion that I found a place online when I googled the problem
  • try to "print to PDF" instead of "Save as pdf" (when I print directly from Publisher on my printer, the printed image as I expected - as a clear background image)
  • update my Adobe pdf software
  • begging, screaming, cursing and offering up to my first-born of the gods of computing

• Cannot open Photoshop CC. PSB files that I saved him just last Friday.

  I'm on an iMac 5K running OS X Yosemite using Photoshop CC.

  Last Friday, I saved a couple of large document using the extension files. PSB.

  I even closed the file and re-opened to make sure that it worked well.

  Unfortunately today, Photoshop does not recognize filed. It gives me either ' an unexpected end of file has been met. "or"It is not a valid Photoshop document."

  Photoshop CC can stand no longer. PSB files? Why it could save them all two Friday and not recognize today?

  End of file unexpected is the real problem.  This format has a header that the size of the file is written in bytes, and when Photoshop reads the file he expects the amount of bytes written to the header to open.  If it doesn't happen, it's when the unexpected end of file error appears.

  What might happened to these files after they have been last record?  I saw this happen when you copy on removable media. (USB SD etc.) and that the media had some bad sectors.  If that's what you were doing after saving these files, which would explain the error.  Conversely, in this case is to copy the pub file to another folder on a bad drive.  So it's associated media, which means that the file has not been completely copied.  A few bytes are missing.
