• Toshiba Journ.e Touch is compatible with the Adobe Digital Editions software?

  I have problems to allow my Toshiba Journ.e Touch. Adobe Digital Editions recognizes the device, but there is no way to allow it, there is no option for this.

  So I can't transfer my ebooks from my computer for the Toshiba. When the Adobe Forum, it seems that other users had the same problem. I can't transfer my ebooks from my computer to the Toshiba device.

  Anyone know what the problem is or how to fix this?

  Unfortunately, it is not possible to use the "Adobe Digital Editions" on the JournE Touch.

  The requirements of the JournE Touch is not for this program.

  The following workaround solution allows you to install Adobe Digital Editions 2.0 on Windows Vista.

  • Download the installer from http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-editions/download.html.

  • Choose to save the installation files in a directory on your hard drive.

  • Go to the save location, right click on ADE_2.0_Installer.exe and select Properties.

  • On the general tab, click Unblock next to the security.

    
    

  • Click OK to apply the changes and close the Properties window.

  • Double-click on the ADE_2.0_Installer.exe to start the installation process.

  As an alternative, you can follow the cannot install Adobe Digital Editions 1.7.2 software to download and install the Adobe Digital Editions 1.7.2 software.

  I have not had any problems with the Adobe Digital Editions software and download the books from the library until the beginning of March.  Now will not download books and the only change that I remember is a Windows Update?

  Have you tried the basics like clean temporary Internet files, Cookies, and browsing history in Internet Explorer?

  Have you tried to clean your Temp folder, you can do this by typing folder in the Start Menu RUN box.  This will open your Temp folder, there, you can remove all Windows will allow you to do.

  It may be necessary to show both hidden and system files and also uncheck 'Hide known file types' in Control Panel / folder Options / view to navigate to the mentioned location of Temp access (and remove) all the files hidden in there.

  I have installed digital editions on my Tablet android (JAY-tech) and it has worked before. Now it is just open new e-books, which I downloaded. It opens on my computer of windos, but weather I download from the library page oder transfer the download from my computer to the Tablet, it will not appear in the digital edtitions. I can click on download and digital edition opens, but it does not show the book, evenso sound in the same library as those that I have opend before.   Did you open the eBooks without allowing? If so eBooks are related to this authoirze emty.

  To solve the problem:
  Start Digital Edition on your computer.

  CTRL + SHIFT + D.

  Accept that you want to delete allow it.
  Then reauthorize.

  But you don't want can open new ebooks that has open with empty authoirze.

  I was using Adobe Digital Edition to read library books, then decided to allow if I could access my library of books about elsewhere. I downloaded a few books, and then I started having authentication errors. I couldn't erase the authorization through Adobe Digital Editions to try to do it again, I kept getting errors. I followed the instructions to change the registry, which withdrew the authorisation of old, and I can now, select "authorize computer". But when I enter my Adobe ID and password, I get the error message:

  "Digital Editions cannot connect to the activation server. Please make sure that you are connected to the Internet. »

  My computer is connected to the Internet - that's how I am connected to this discussion. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software, Adobe Digital Editions, and the same thing happens.  Any suggestions? I prefer Adobe Digital Editions alternatives, but if this activation problem can not be solved I won't have the choice.

  I read through other similar positions and found one that says what they uninstalled 4.5 and installed 3.0 instead. I did this and was able to authorize ADE (no internet connection problem) and again to download eBooks from our library.
