• Problems with the published html file

  Hi, I am a beginner using Adobe animate. I managed to do design an interactive infographic to incorporate into a Web site. But I have a problem with the published html file. The html file is generated, but when I click it, only a blank page opens on my internet browser. As far as I understand it, computer graphics itself should open in the browser. Can someone please advise what I could do wrong?

  Seems strange. Normally, the zip is just created where the project has been stored.

  You can take a look at your preferences for the output folder. This is perhaps what is the substitution of things. Click on Edit > Preferences... and investigate what appears in the path and the field displayed below:

• Videos YouTube in Captivate-published files are now grown on the right side. Resolution?

  I already have the Captivate files eLearning modules and published using SCORM in my LMS. The files were fine. When I saw yesterday all the YouTube embedded files are truncated on the right and have 'dead space' on the left. It's as if they all are moved to the right. I have seen discussions on changes to the YouTube videos with the YouTube result does not. My question is a little different because the videos are present, but cropped. Also, the lower bar is part and I need it for viewers turn on the closed captioning (a large part of my audience is deaf).

  Is there any solutions for this? (Note that I have not access to a video server).

  HI, Mary.  Jump again, site of Captivate said that HTML5 output is no longer supported in Internet Explorer 9 or later, Safari 5.1 or later, and Google Chrome 17 or later.  Although not listed do not, the new Microsoft Edge works very well, too.  I find that older versions of browser are disappearing, but some of the less tech savvy people I work with are still using IE 8, so I suspect that it is perhaps a question based on your description of your target audience. In addition, the HTML5 version works fully in Firefox, the latest version, which is the main reason I publish in swf and html. I have fortunately only publish in html and encourage users to update their browsers, if it wasn't for Firefox problem.

  Of course, knowing this does not solve the problem.

  You change the name in the first field in the first page of the wizard and the file to generate. It must be a folder on your hard drive.

  You change the publication record in the last page of the wizard. Wherever you want to.

  You can not. It's just how Muse works and makes the distinction between global and local by the elements of the page.

Unfortunately, whenever I export my site in HTML, it converts all web fonts, I used (I got of Typekit), in Helvetica when he gets a preview. The fonts must be Europa and Josefin light.   However, when I want to go 'live' and "Publish to HTML" Typeset fonts do not export with html files, and the site comes back to Arial.

  Typekit fonts are bound by the domain or URL entered by you at the time of the FTP upload, publish on BC or export to HTML.

  In the case of export to HTML if you open the files locally, then the field will be different (this will be the path of the local file on the machine you) If this happens. But if you download the same files on the FTP server that has the same domain that you entered when you "Export as HTML" then it should work fine.

I created a new Web site in Adobe Muse CC. After that, I transfer our domain name to GoDaddy. For now our old site still in progress, but I want to publish my Web site brand new for our old domain.

  Every time when I tried to download on the FTP host, I received a warning 'folder 'httpdocs' does not appear to point to the www.xxxxxxxxxx site.

  My Plesk hosting settings my root folder is httpdocs.

  Even when I clicked on ignore and continue to publish, I got another warning: "failed to connect to the PHP file. Failed to check if the web server supports PHP required by forms of the Muse. Check the domain name entered in the dialog FTP download is correct "."

  Certainly, I know that all the information re correct identification.

  Please can you help me with advice how to sort my problem?

  Then check with your hosting company for PHP, as form of muse only work if PHP is supported on the hosting platform.

• Small problem with Captivate 6 quiz...

  I wonder if someone could help me with this little problem with Captivate 6 quizes?

  I've set up a quiz and disable the playback bar to save screen space

  I turn off the button 'next' on the issues because it allows to the learner in order to bypass the unanswered questions (and does not trigger the incomplete caption)

  And so I rename the button submit to 'next' - and that's fine, but when the quiz is reviewed there is no 'next' button to navigate between issues

  I thought that I might be able to hide the real button following behind the submit button (labeled 'next'), but finds that it is not possible to change the stacking order of buttons issue

  So, how can I stop the learner without going through questions without answer AND allow navigation during the review of the quiz?

  Hide the next button (Skip) under the clear button.  When you add a quiz for the Clear key is usually on a higher default stacking order.  But if it isn't, just remove and replace the button 'Clear' and it will be over the next button.  Usually, removal and replacement of the buttons on the quiz questions are the only way to manipulate the stacking order.  It's a pain, but this is easily achievable.

• Cannot publish the html file

  When I publish my html file, I get an error message:

  "The movie. SWF file creation error". Make sure that the destination file is not locked or on a locked drive. Also, check that the file name is too long.

  I did everything above and still get the error. I can export the SWF file, but I need a transparent background so I need the html code. Any suggestions?

  In the windows version of Flash, the full path for the html and swf files are written in the window post. If you work on this file on a different computer than the one that originated the file, then the path may not be recognized by Flash. From the windows that contain the path in the scrolling window to publish at the end of the file name, you will not see the rest of the path name. Select the text in these spaces and publish delete and write the name of the file that you want, or close the window and save the fla to another location. And then publish.

• Problem with Captivate 8 and SumTotal learning LMS Maestro-

  I get white screen when lance course published under the title of SCORM 2004 using Captivate 8.  All the publication settings are identical to those used with Captivate 7 and all classes of properties and parameters are the same in the LMS as course published using Captivate 7. At the launch of course, instead of the opening of the route screen, a white frame appears showing the playback bar course and LMS navigation bar. Logon screen does not appear until the user clicks on the button play on the PlayBar. No idea why this is happening?  Here is a screenshot of the white frame.

  Because it worked, obviously, the Chrome issue 36 comes break HTML5 output.  I hope that the patch solves everything.

• What are the causes of the file Captivate published produce multiple instances of the puree slide images?

  I have a new license on e-Learning and that you have created a file Captivate 6.1 long about 80 slides and includes several mini-enregistrements. It seems fine in preview mode, but in the mode of publication that I find myself its screens that display images of bleeding by other screens. I've never had this problem before and I don't know what is the cause. the only solution I've found replaces slides that are not very productive.

  Please, uncheck the option "Advanced project compression" in the project preferences, republish the project and see whether it solves problems.

  Uncheck "advanced project compression.

  1. Open Preferences dialog box.

  2. go to project > SWF size and quality

  3. uncheck the option "Advanced project Compression".

  4. from dialog publish, check the option "Force re - publish all slides.

  5. publish the project

  Can anyone help. I'm trying to publish a file that I converted from a captivate file 4. It if a basic file with click boxes, captions, and failure boxes. I have also 2 slides introduction with a blade of BG and animated text. (I need to go back and read this post about it). Anyone can help with this problem? I can't even preview via c5 from inside browser.

  Try to update your Flash Player to the latest version.

  This black screen problem was discovered several months after the first Flash Player 10 release.  It was caused by a conflict between the new Flash Player and Animations of text in Captivate.  Adobe has released a patch for Captivate 5 requiring the republication of content to resolve the conflict.

  New versions of Flash Player do not result in the same conflict, but you should always patch® Captivate® 5 and republish to be safer.

• Firefox problem with Captivate 2?

  Hi all
  I went through these forums and on the Web for a solution to my problem, but none will be presented. I use Adobe captivate 2 to create a simulation. I publish the simulation as a SWF with HTML. I test on my local machine in Firefox 1.5.0.9 and with Internet Explorer 6.0.29. Everything works fine on the spot. If I put it on the Web, everythign works as expected in Internet Explorer, however with Firefox, the shortcut key 'Enter', that I have assigned to a text entry box does not work. Nothing happens. Does not proceed to the next screen, does not display the legend of failure. For the sake of curiosity, I tested this problem with an old sim card I created with Captivate 1. The problem is not with captivate evidient 1. The problem seems to be attached to Firefox, Captivate 2 and access to the simulation on the Web. (Unfortunately, I can't provide a link to the problem, as it is a secure site, and which would involve giving you a password in order to release the material to the company. They would not like this so ;))
  
  Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated, because this problem has left me speechless.

  Hi all

  Thank you for your response. I found the solution. I assumed the standard.js file published by captivate was to suppress the warning flash IE. However, no calling not this file in my custom HTML page, load the SWF file has caused the key of the entry in Firefox problem.
