Pulling my hair out on questions of IE8 with the spry menu bar

Its a story classic, but for the life of me, I can't understand this.  I saw him in a hundred different forums (all slightly different versions of the same problem).  I've implemented a menu spry horizontal bar (version 1.6.1).  It works fine in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc..., but goes nuts in IE.

layout and positioning submenus stunts go horizontally, far right, etc..

Is a sample of the menu at http://www.alaskanrafting.com/mockup/NewIndex.html

I'm sure it's just a line or two in my CSS, but of course I can't find.

the CSS would be to http://www.alaskanrafting.com/mockup/SpryAssets/SpryMenuBarHorizontal.CSS

If anyone has information, I would be very happy.

Thank you

Try to add/edit the following

UL. MenuBarHorizontal ul li {}
display: block;
float: none! important;
Width: auto;
white-space: nowrap;
border-bottom: 1px solid #EEE;
}

Must make a ! important to float so that it overrides the JS.

  • I have a question? Why the Spry menu bar is possessed?

    I took two attempts now to use spry menus for my navigation bar in Dreamweaver CS5.

    Meticulously taking them twice a lot of time to put in place - and guess what - each time that everything in normal size in local mode - buttons are tiny / barely perceptible in a browser.

    In addition to this - the results are ugly. OMG-someone ' one there the tips on how to get nice navigation for a site Dreamweaver created buttons?

    All comments and suggestions will be cherished; D had

    Spry is very old and dated technology and NO longer supported by Adobe.

    You should look on Google for the navigation of the website jQuery or pure css navigation... also check out youtube for tutorials.

  • Photosmart Pro B9180... Pulling hair out after Win 7 64 of the Vista 64 update!

    Since the upgrade to Vista 64 for Win 7 Ultimate 64 I was able to print in any way useful to my HP Photosmart Pro B9180 via a USB connection or a network of residential group.

    Now, after vainly trawling online and for a solution to my problem for several weeks now, I fear that the £600.00 so-called 'linchpin' my fledgling photographic printing company I've conquered, is in fact a total and absolute "lemon", this much praised (at least I thought that this was the case, having found very little negative comments!) professional photo printer must be honest , "is not fit for purpose". At least when we're trying to operate in an environment of Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit, that is.

    Unless, of course, anyone here can help me.

    After download, install as administrator, do Photo - not if - smart printer by default, uninstalling, cleaning of the drivers and reinstall the Windows 7 driver package: PS_BSIZE_CDA_B9100_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe several times, Windows still reports that while the printer was installed, it was necessary to troubleshooting. But when I try to the sentence, it is unable to identify what the problem is, before simply dead shooting me and then... Well... Groundhog Day, this is what comes to my mind.

    If I try to add B9180 in devices and printers I get this error message: "Windows can't open add printer." Access is denied. "I tried a new install via a network of residential group, but Windows has reported that it did not have the rights to add the printer to the network!

    As it is, I can't print from any photo editing software, I use mainly Photoshop for JPEG-types and Phase One of the Camera RAW data or Microsoft Office or Open Office document. They all report that no printer is installed on the system when it is clearly. Oddly, it will print if I right click a thumbnail, but it's of little use to me really, as if we were working "blind".

    I tried every step possible troubleshooting available via the support site of the product here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=uk&lang=en&softwareitem=mp-74847-1&os=406...

    In vain I tried some novel I've done for myself and also didn't find any help on Microsoft or in Win 7 user forums. I have an out with HP support ticket, but I'm not holding my breath!

    By the way I can print using the HP Photosmart Essentials program that installs with the driver package, but the software is simply too simplistic for my purposes.

    The situation sucks big time in my opinion and I'm pretty much at the end of my home, with no ideas on how to get to where I want to be on the left.

    Of course, any help is welcome.

    I'm curious, if you can add any printer?

    Try disabling the Windows user account control.

  • Out of sync a station with the model of batch process?

    Hello

    My project has 5 test stations are run in parallel. I decide to use the batch process model because I want that they start and stop together. Next to startup and shutdown, I have some part in the need for synchronization of the entire test sequence. But in 5 stations, I want a workstation without flash sync to these steps. I tried to use the commands synchronize with the precondition, but it looks like that other stations are waiting for that one I jump the sync. My other option uses rendervous with number of parallel thread total is - 1. I test it and it works. But I still want to know if I can use batch synchronize step or not because it offers synchronization of start and exit synchronization.

    Thank you!

    NTT says:

    Doug,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I want to have something happening parallel with other threads, but without effect by steps of synchronization batch. I have several workstations parallel to the Assembly line. They are sync due to the pick and place. But I want to have a process is functioning as the station manager who keep track of USE between the train station and other site conditions such as pressure, temperature.

    Thang

    As a general rule, the intent of the TestSockets in the process templates is that they will have a 1 to 1 with DUT match, taking your 5th corresponds to an object to measure? In other y 5 DUT tested at the same time? DUT often need things like logging database or report generation. Your 5th decision-making requires the generation of reports? If not maybe this 5th Jack is really more than one thread of utility and creating a new thread or performance during execution makes sense for her. If your 5th instead making it really fits under test DUT in parallel enitrely separately from others the DUT then maybe you should start up a new run for the socket using the sequential model and just run as your other shots are running with the model of batch processing.

    So, it really depends on what you use this 5th station/thread to find out which method would probably work better.

    Hope this helps,

  • Question about problem with the file using a clipping mask

    I use Photoshop CS6.  I bought a digital frame with a mask of clipping on Etsy.   When I go to insert the image in the image using the clipping mask image continues to show through the edges of the image (as pictured).  I tried blocking layer, but it does not work.  Any suggestions?20140925_184509.jpg

    Try this, 2 layer moving below 3 attach them.

    Hang out with the selection tool ellipse a circle that encompasses the area which should show the image

    Create a mask for the form (make sure the shape layer is selected {now layer 2 to 3} click the icon at the bottom of the layers panel that looks like a circle inside a square)

    You should now see your image.

    If you get stuck, you can capture your screen to show your progress.

    Tips for the selection tool:

    You can hold the SHIFT key to constrain to a circle

    You can hold the ALT key to draw a selection of its center circle,

    You can hold both modifier key for a perfect circle drawn in the Center.

    Finally you can hold down the SPACEBAR to move the selection before you release the mouse button.

  • Questions about synchronize with the database.

    Hi experts,

    With the help of Jdev11.1.1.5.0 - adfbc-oracledb10g

    I got quite stupid question.

    but I need to ask this question here.

    while I give make a right-click to eo synchronize with the database. EO get the newly created field.

    I had a vo is dependent on the OS. the vo not update how can get the field. ?

    Someone can help me.

    ADF7,

    You don't the you in your VO up to you to add attributes manually. VO is supposed to be some specific use cases and so in general do not need all of the underlying fields of the EO. You can add them by going to the VO and the shuttle of new fields in the attributes list.

  • Question about report with the format "Date."

    Hello friends! I want to make a line chart with a measure on the columns and type 'date' Format (MM/dd) data on lines and my report is invited with the type 'date '. In my dashboard page, I have a prompt with the Date and the operator is "BETWEEN".

    For example if I choose in my line of the first date: 01/01/2009 and the second date: 01/10/2009 in my chart, I see the results between these dates. But my question is... I see the same date last year? I mean if I choose the 01/01/2009 - 10/01/2009 I see this line and another line with 01/01/2008-01/10/2008. Is this possible?

    Because in my guest I can't type a variable presentation because date type is not taken care of...

    Thank you very much!!

    Let's say you have fresh measure
    then in your SPR you create logical column with the AGO formula (costs, TimeDim.YearLevel, 1)-Let's call him ' py 'measure.
    This will be your column YAGO...

    now in your report - you drop date, measure and measure columns py... it should work as long as you have the right size of set up time

  • I'm pulling my hair out and I'm about to give up the development of the playbook...

    I just took the playbook to best buy to finally test my application. Well, I can't understand how to do this correctly. Flash builder doesn't have a section of CHIPS in the preferences > tablet os > singing.

    I am an iOS developer and all this * beep * is taken in charge for me, I like this cause it gives more time to development instead of tryng to know how to operate the * beep * app...

    Sorry for bashing but I'm about to return the playbook and give up the development of this platform.

    could someone help to install my application to a whole new playbook device

    For the orientation and rotation lock simply launch - app.xml and change the autoroate to false and landscape orientation

  • pulling my hair out

    When I select to liquefy a photo when this screen my picture isn't there only one color pale back ground. How to make the image show up to liquefy?

    Maybe fluidity shows a 'background' in front of the active layer. See at the bottom of its advanced options in the attached screenshot.

  • I'm pulling my hair out trying to identify the parameter that prevents the background scroll

    CSS code below

    {body

    text-align: center;

    make-style: normal;

    Police: 100% Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, without serif.

    do-size: 12px;

    Color: #000;

    background-image: url('/images/bg.gif');

    background-attachment: scroll;

    background-position: top center;

    left margin: 0px;

    margin-right: 0px;

    margin-top: 0px;

    margin-bottom: 0px;

    Top: 0px;

    float: left;

    Width: 100%;

    }

    I need the image that will be implemented horizontally but vertically scroll. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You have changed it in your CSS, but you have that yourthat is overwhelming. Delete this whole section of your page and it works.

    {body

    background-color: transparent;

    background-repeat: no-repeat;

    background-attachment: scroll;

    }

    You should also remove position: absolute of your body in the CSS file. It is not necessary.

  • pulling my hair out for a signature valid pdf

    Using Acrobat 9 Pro with a new server certificate to a different certification authority that I tried to put a signature invalid in a pdf file. For some reason any acrobat gives me the "Signature is invalid" message with a red cross. I am particularly interested if someone knows what that this line "added string flags badly 0x200 generator" means?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hi lullolullo,

    You came to the right place. Signature validation begins with trust. If you do not trust the signer, or one of the certificates in the chain of signature, then nothing happens. A signature string looks like this:

    Big Time CA root Cert

    Intermediate CA

    End entity (the signatory, or in this case, you)

    You must assign trust at least one of the certificates in the signature string. You can either add trust via the dialog manage identities approved or by a preference where you can inherit trust from the Windows certificate store (Windows only, not Mac). To see the string in the signature you want to do the following:

    • Right mouseclick on the signature
    • Select Show Signature properties in the pop-up menu
    • Click view certificate in the Signature Properties dialog box
    • The string is displayed in the tree view on the left side of the dialog box

    If you select the trust tab, and then different certificates in the output string, you will be able to see what is the anchor of trust.

    Enough confidence, to Restrictions of strategy. When a certification authority (CA) issues certificates, they will often add the certificate policy extension. You can find this by selecting the Details tab, and then scroll the list box for the certificate policies. Politics is a long number in dotted line that acts as a marker for a specific set of rules. The rules themselves tend to be published online in a "Certificate Practice Statement" document, but becomes a bit beyond the scope of your problem. The rule can mean something as all certificates under this political constraint problems are communicated to the employees of the company XYZ and must be a hardware token. This is an example of something you might see but I do not say it the exact scenario that appeal to you.

    The root CA generally do not have an extension of certificate policy, but all the certificates under it make sense that this string obeys a set of specific rules.

    On the application of the rules. Let's say you have this Big Time, which issues certificates for IBM, Microsoft, Apple and Adobe. Each of these strings contain a different certification policy. Now, let's say that I trust it Big Time, which means that each signature that created this channel until Big Time would be reliable and valid. Now let's say I want to only trust the signatures coming from my fellow Adobe employees. What I would do, is add a policy of Restriction to the trust setting, which makes the more granular trust.

    Towards the top, where is Restriction policy. The strategies on the display of the certificate tab. When you view the certificate itself that is designated as the anchor of trust do you see something in the area of Group Policy Restrictions? I mean something data in the certificate policies field edition which seems to be gray. If Yes, then the signatory certificate and other certificates in the chain must have the numbered in certificate policy Extension.

    If the restriction is there, you can remove it by going in the dialog Manage approved identities , you can get from the menu Advanced . From there, you will need to select certificates from the drop-down list display. Find the certificate that corresponds to the anchor of the trust, selected in the drop-down list, and then click Edit Trust . Finally, select the policy Restrictions on the dialog box change the Certificate Trust. However, I'm not, and advise you to break any policy of the company if they want the restriction in place.

  • I can't in internet options because my toolbar disappeared and IE8 disabled somehow my menu bar, download, I need a way to get and activate everything.

    I can't remove IE8 because I get an error message, and I saw earlier when I tried some things there that a lot of things has been disabled. I need to get somehow and all reactivate. In Control Panel internet options have even disappeared. He wouldn't let me do a screenshot to show anything or the other.

    my iPod also suddenly got lovked for security reasons and they ask me to answer security question but I had them a long time ago and I don't know the answers more and I can't do much on my iPod more

    You can not. If there was a method to get around them without going through Apple verify your identity in a different way, they are not safety issues.

    Hello

    I read a few posts on the subject, but can't seem to make it work.  I tried port forwarding, UPnP and DMZ on their own or at the time and the best I could do is get a "open NAT" in modern warfare, allowing me to play online.  However, I do hear not others when you play online.  I can tell they speaking by looking at the icon of speaker beside their name between games, but cannot hear them...  I can hear people in my private chat or part without problem.

    Can you guys help me?  It's hard to read dominance without being able to communicate with his teammates.

    Oh gawd...  I feel like a noob...  It turns out it wasn't my router settings at all.  Somehow, I got my 'privacy settings' in XBOX Live set to "Discuss with friends only" or something similar.  I now opened it at all and it works fine.
