• PXI-8512/2 XNET CAN stops when bus errors occur on Spadina

  Hello, I use the PXI-8512/2 in a noisy electrical environment so I often get errors on the CAN bus. I noticed that often 8512 stops communicate. In my dual port 8512/2, 4, # LED that flashes normally will eventually turn off. However, I have other devices listening on the same bus; report errors, they continue to stay alive. Is there anyway that I can get the 8512 continue to work in the presence of errors? I use the custom device XNET for VeriStand 2009 and do not see the error handling options. In fact, I don't get any notification of errors at all. I just noticed that my incoming CAN stop signals and my leavers have no effect. Thank you.

  You shouldn't have to remove from your devices.  Just update the configuration and engine llbs and restart the Explorer system, save your configuration and redeployment.  Let me know if you see problems.

  (There are new files also copied into the directory of device custom if you want to use the bus monitor function... so you can replace the entire record of the NOR-XNET if it's easier).

  I need to buy a couple of cards CAN interfaces for my test application and I wonder what you choose

  I already used a PXI-8461 to obtain data of the customer model under test, and due to the fact that sometimes the client bus can be very busy, but most of the messages is not interesting for my system that I use currently series 2 comparator/mask/filter to filter only the interesting messages.

  Without this filter, the PXI-8461 often returns an error due to overloading of the bus. With the filter, everything works perfectly

  Now I need to implement several testbeds with this same feature, and I plan to move to the new PXI-8512 for new.

  My question is: is the most recent PXI-8512 a device series 2 institutions? Support the filter 2 series or any other mechanism to avoid problems on the busy bus?

  Hi Davide.

  the PXI-8512 isn't a series 2 device. The PXI-8512 is a device of the X-NET family. X-NET is the technology whose use OR in support of CAN, LIN and FlexRay with a driver API. Series 2 devices use the former NI-CAN driver that only supports the CAN. All of the new devices are devices X-NET.

  Transceiver filters were traditionally indicated for applications where only a few CAN IDs have been considered on a bus high load. In some cases, material NI-CAN support the bandwidth of the full bus, which leads to a buffer overflow. The hardware architecture OR XNET uses the engine NOR-XNET DMA-driven to eliminate the occurrence of buffer overflows. CAN of NOR-XNET interfaces are able to handle high load bus and transmitting at the maximum rate without coupling to buffer overrun. If your applications use the hardware filters extensively, NOR recommend setting up CAN opposes, or by reading the bus while using Network Interface objects. The best option for these applications is to modify your code to use the API OR-XNET native.

  Now the question is when I run only subpart, it works well. If run master and then to Subpart package and then the package is a failure...

  I read some examples and other posts on the topic "sync", but I need more information.

  I'm using a PXI-8512/2 with an older application, based on the API of frame. Several frames are transmitted and received periodically, and I need to enter a unique ID of arbitration which has a cycle of ~ 5 ms.

  At the same time, I need a task of data acquisition (analog input) with a sampling frequency of 1000 Hz.

  The challenge is, I need to have the same time base for the analog input and CAN.

  As far as I understand, the timestamps CAN are created in the PXI-8512. The timestamp of the start of the DAQ tasks is based on the time of OS (Windows).

  Transmission/reception CAN must be running still (to perpetuate the ECU), and the data acquisition task will be triggered manually.

What it means? The sampling frequency of my CAN is fundamentally different from DAQ. But I have to be able to associate each sample DAQ for a CAN of armature (same time base).

  I have developed and delivered a system in Germany several years ago.  He worked then.  But the cRIO was damaged and replaced by a newer model, and does not now.  I suspect (and Support technical OR agree) it's a problem of software version, which could be solved with the NOT-MAX Software Installer.  But I do not have access to the system myself, and correspondence is slow and tedious.

  The original system was a cRIO-9073, developed with LabView 2009.  He used the implicit Messaging.  The ID of Instance, sizes, IP addresses, etc everything has worked very well.

  The current system is a cRIO-9074, with LabView DURATION 14.0 (I guess that LV 2014), Scan Engine 4.3, NI - Industrial Communications for Ethernet/IP 14.0.0, etc.  Programs FPGA and processor are responsible and seem to work in the cRIO.  The "EthernetIP Set Assembly Instance Data.vi' will return no error.  But the PLC just pointing out "(Code 16 #0315)" connection request error: invalid segment type "."  We looked at intellectual property (the mistake was different), sizes and body #s.

  The PLC doesn't have to all be modified.

  Anyone know if there is no problem of compatibility with LV-2014 and Ethernet/IP 14.0.0?  Or if there are all the other required packages?

  To help you 2009 application to work with the new cRIO, you must deploy it to the device. You must in order to deploy the cRIO, make sure it has the same versions of software that you used with the old cRIO.

  You can format the cRIO NI MAX and deploy the application of LV, 2009. However, if you do not have access to the cRIO or your client does not have the necessary software, you can deploy the application in another cRIO with software (cRIO same model and same modules as your client) and create a picture of it and send it to your customer so that it can deploy the cRIO even without the software on his computer.   This morning, I had a good Communication running with my device via the PXI-8512 OR XNET.

  I worked with the XNET Read(Frame_CAN).vi

  My computer crashed, and after that, nothing works anymore. I'm afraid I've changed something in VI and registered, but I don't know what.

  Y at - it the posibiltity perhaps reinstall the XNET library or something like that?

  I changed the xnet.llb

  Uninstall the driver X-NET and then reinstall it. Everything works fine again.

  I have a PXI-8512 CAN module high speed in my system. My PXI controller a real-time OS. I'm having some problems and tried to identify the problem.

  Are there known problems with the PXI-8512 compaitbility using the NI-CAN 2.7.4 software installed on a system in real-time?

  It was a problem with my code. I announced my CAN messages to a queue and it sometimes took a long time for the message BOX to be actually defined. Never understood why the 2012 of LAbWindows/CVI has worked better than the 2013 but found a work around so my problem is solved.

  I want to thank each and everyone of you for your input to try to help solve the problems I've had with links.

  I am happy to report that I played my first round in nearly two weeks in this... Morning. The problem is a corrupted file, .l3. I have a little more 1 100 PoliAnis' and am not sure which one is, but I can play. I tried whenever I took one of the following folders on until I finally took the PolyAni folder:

  WAVs, mops, Custom photos of players, sky, Clubs, PIN code files and finally, all but one of PolyAni files. That after taking all but one of the frequented out of the folder PolyAni links has started without giving me the error of attribution not valid.

• GGetting advapi32.dll error invalid function on bootcamp

  Original title: at the start, I am reciving an error "invalid function advapi32.dll" almost all start-ups. How can I troubleshoot this to clear the error?

  Do not know what is the origin, online searches, just trying to sell me programs to erase it. some answers say hardware problems, software. all my gear works as far as I can see, no errors in the hardware Manager.

  I deleted a double "Junk E-mail" folder by using the mapi connection (could use OWA) and then was able to use the Imap Protocol.  I hope this helps.
