Satellite C855 - strange noise when try to watch/listen to something
I bought this laptop around a month ago. When I tried to watch or listen to something, which sizzles a little noise came a few seconds and disappeared.
I didn't know it was important. But now, it happens every day and a lot of times when I listen or watch something. She buzzes, sizzle for a few seconds and it's really annoying.
What could be the problem?
Please help me...
Have you tested with headphones or external speakers? The same thing happens again and again?
Original title: plugin prob
When I try to watch/listen to video and other media on Google Chrome, a yellow bar with ' an additional plugin is required to view some items on this page "always comes to the top. I found it quite frustrating, and when I do not click on 'Install plugin' Google Chrome is unresponsive. I then refresh the page, click on the yellow bar once again. How can I change the additional Plugin to websites like YouTube etc. ?

I own a Satellite L20 laptop and when I take the power cord out of my L20 and power to the battery on a strange sound high tone appears when I put my ear on the heat sink and can be heard normally.
It is never used to do this.
I don't know if you can hear the sound, as I do, when to do as you described, but this noise is coming from the CPU, when your phone is inactive or sous-travaille.
Have it on my computer Toshiba no as well and everything I read that there is nothing to worry about and normally, you does not recognize.
Originala title; Microsoft Silverlight
When you try to watch previous episodes of Boardwalk Empire of sky Atlantic HD using Microsoft Silverlight, message arrives, cannot run the episode because of the error (t6030-c1501). Those who know this problem and solution Advisor.
1 did you do changes on the computer before the show?
2. not the problem only occurs with the Sky or other sites as well?
3. what browser do you use?
Sorry to hear that.
You can get error t6030-c1501 due to settings in Silverlight or corrupted installation.

I bought a few weeks ago L500 (Windows 7 64-bit). Everything is fine except for the sound. 1 h or more after running computer, the speakers begin to produce a "cracking", "metal" noise when the audio is reproducible, regardless of the source (CD, system sounds, movies, MP3s...). It's just like there are hundreds of "micro-pannes". The same thing with the headphones. This seems also affect all media files, for example the length of 10-minute videos take 12 minutes or so play due to these micro-interruptions. The sound gets worse over time and gets normal once the system is rebooted, but a few minutes later the noise comes back.
I have all the latest Toshiba driver implemented to date, BIOS, LAN, sound cards, etc..
What can I do? Any idea will be welcome.
Thanks in advance.
I don't know much L500 series but creaking sound is annoying problem for A500 series. I think that a graphics card driver is a troublemaker. If your laptop is equipped with an nvidia graphics card, go to his site and update a Vga driver. In my case, it solved my problem. (B-)
I hear "zzzzzzzzz" when the substantive change and when I go to open the page to another;
I tried to change the realtek audio driver, but it does not work and when I played, it be very strong and get high...
Please help me!
Whence the noise?
It comes from speakers or HARD drive maybe?
> I hear "zzzzzzzzz" when the substantive change and when I go to open the page to another;
Have you noticed that noise only with internet explore?
It is not using batteries or adapter only?
Please check this and please provide more information and details.
I hope someone can help me.
I had my C855 Satellite - part 2F3 no: PSCBWE-0H600NEN since April and have used my headpones in it several times and it worked fine.
I used this morning and he was working then suddenly stopped, whenever I try and play something say I can hear music sometimes, it seems not complete but always singing to music can never be heard or sounds like he's under the sea and all deformed.
This also happens if I watch something on Youtube if there is music on the vid I am I've heard that, but not the language in the video. can someone please help me resolve this issue.
My speakers when headphones are connected work well, I'm heading what I shouldn't...
Thanks in advance for help you
I m not very well why this happens only to the connected headphones but from my point of view, this looks like some sort of sound profile was selected. something similar to karaoke etc.
The sound chip seems to be Realtek. Therefore the DD Realtek Audio Manager should be preinstalled on your laptop.
You should find it in Control Panel-> Realtek HD audio manager.
I recommend you plug in headphones and check the sound profiles of the Realtek HD audio Manager.
Maybe something has been chosen which affects the audio output through headphones.
I bought a MacBook Pro Retina early 2015 model and is currently under OS X 10.11.4. From day one, it has been an inconsistent issue where my Mac everything would freeze whenever I try to play a video. This moved not always so I thought that this was a small issue that would have been fixed with an update. Soon enough, earlier today, it's the same thing, whole frozen Mac (trackpad is more clicks, keyboard is unresponsive and screen is frozen) when I tried to play a video on FaceBook. I have tried to disable flash, use Chrome or other browsers, did a new install of OS X El Capitan and OS X Yosemite, but it did nothing.
Any possible suggestions as to what is happening? I was going to take in inspection under the guarantee, but want to make sure before doing so because it is so inconsistent and happens randomly.
The problem may be caused by a bug in OS X, triggered by "Flash Player."
If Flash is installed and that you did not already, please update to the latest version by opening the Flash Player pane in system preferences and selecting the updates tab.
If Flash is already up to date, or if the update does not resolve the problem, open Safari preferences window and select the Security tab uncheck the box marked
See if there is an improvement.
You can watch videos on YouTube and other sites without using Flash by installing the extension "ClickToFlash" or "ClickToPlugin' Safari. This isn't an endorsement. You should always do your own research to determine the safety and effectiveness of any third-party software before using it.
I know it's a Satellite Pro because he says on this subject on the front, but I was wondering if a new body what was wrong with it when I type fast, it hit stop or it goes to what I have already written and write half of the senses, although he.
Anyone know the problem?
If it please try to disable the touch pad using the mouse properties or use the FN + F9 key combination. I hope that this will be resolved.
Many people here have reported on the same phenomena, and at the end there is finding that accidentally touch the touchpad can move the mouse to another position.
I've recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate. Since the upgrade, whenever I have watch a movie or other video on my laptop, there's a hum intermittent all minutes from this last for a second or two and seems also makes video stuttering at the same time.
I tried different programs to play movies, windows media, etc vlc player, and I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the latest audio drivers, without that there is no improvement in the problem. Happens if I play a movie from a dvd or a video that is stored on the hard drive and the problem also occurs when you play the music.
My laptop is a Satellite P300D, 3 GB of RAM, Windows 7 Ultimate edition
Any suggestions would be welcome.
Have you plugged external speakers to your laptop and you can notice this problem here? Maybe it's a problem of the internal speakers
And how upgrading to Windows 7? Have you used the kit upgrade Toshiba or Microsoft Windows 7 disc?
I never heard on an issue also, so I also recommend the update to the BIOS. You can check from Toshiba Web site for an update.
Before start you the update to ensure that all programs are closed and you are logged on as administrator.
Various regular intervals, my model emits strange noises, when I first heard them I thought that the unit was defective.
Of course, they are difficult to describe, but they are like a rattle, type click noise.
Sometimes, they are rather pronounced click bed, say three in quick succession.
They are strong or strong enough to be very obvious and make you learn.
There is also another type of noise like something off and the start of a mechanism, but should I hear it? The approximate location is center-left, it is not near the fan. What is the HARD drive?
These sounds are normal?
My previous laptop Toshiba did not these noises and this system is very well with the exception of a few headaches update post Win 8.1 that is now corrected. Your peeps.
Of course, nobody here can say with certainty what it can be but after reading your ad, I think it may be the HARD drive. A sort of clicking noise is typical for the HARD drive. Normal? What to say?
On my laptop I can t hear anything, but on the Satellite machine friends I could hear it. It's not loud, but I can hear it when HDD LED flashes (the disk is active).
What you can do is contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for their opinion.
Another option is to check with the other HARD or better with SSD drive to check the difference.
I have a toshiba satellite c855 12z and I heard a strange noise even if toshiba pc health monitor shows that the heater is off, it's like an air blowing inside the laptop, you need 2 coolers? or can it be the hard drive? When I bought the laptop was very quiet, now I always hear this noise...
It's always hard to talk about things that are not verified...
There are two things that could create a noise: cooling fans or HARD drive.
Cooling fans are not DISABLED the cooling module can run at a lower speed, but it is not completely off.
HARD drive runs too, but it should not create noise if the HARD drive is OK
I noticed two times a strange noise coming out of my Satellite L40
On one or two seconds, there was a sound that sounded like the noise that you hear when you use a dial analog modem and try to connect.
He came out of the blue and I use a DSL wireless connection.
The sound of my cell phone was off.
Is that what anyone has noticed the same thing or do you not know what it could be?

Not easy to say what his might. On my notebooks HARD drive makes strange noises also. But it runs and runs and everything seems to be ok.

I have a brand new A200 - 1 M 5 has bought 10 days ago and 4 days ago one began to hear a strange noise from the fan or the cpu or perhaps hhd I don't know!
When windows stars I continued fan power. I mean like vooom, solid with air coming out.
Or not this sound, but each all in a 1 sec fan noise door and disappear 1 to 2 min of its different!
I also wanted to turn on the pc, it lights!
There are AC lamp light but not on the battery!
Then, I removed the battery and then put it in its place again and the pc started normally!
c.p. my ram is 2 MB
You should clarify directly with your local dealer or the Toshiba service. I have too many Satellite A200 and my laptop is quiet enough and described it is not normal for me.
Sorry, but to say with certainty if there is something strange or not I should have the laptop in front of me. Second issue with the battery is as strange and it is certainly the second reason to contact ASP.
When talking to people on Skype and MSN people say my mic makes strange noises. They can hear me vaguely on the noise. People say it's a bit like a gurgling noise.
At first I thought that it would be a driver problem so by using Device Manager in windows I have searched online for a update for my Realtek High Definition Audio and he told me that the version is up-to-date.
I went from Vista to Windows 7 about 5-6 months there may be that this is a problem when I reinstalled my drivers? Any advice would be appreciated!
Characteristics of the computer:
-Windows 7 Ultimate SP1
-Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P7450 2.13 GHz
4.00 GB of RAM (2.99 usable)
Thanks in advance
Driver update might be useful in this case, but the audio driver is not related to the internal mic. The internal MIC is part of the webcam then in this case I recommend to reinstall the driver for the webcam of the official website of Toshiba:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers
And don t forget to check the Windows sound settings. I would try to disable the microphone amplifier and reduce the volume of the microphone.
