[Q] loading a JPG file externally in different MCs & amp; Download

Hi, I was wondering if I put a few MCs to load the same external JPG file, users will need to download theme several times?

Or only need to download once?

I have a problem loading long 700 * 8000 jpg files due to the pixel size of 2300 (?).

I've been thking of making them in 2000 * 2000 square by photo images long cut short sigments and putting them side by side.

and using as to make them appear as single image long using 2 MCs, with the same image but posted on different charge square photo x.

Someone at - it better idea?

I am a little hesitant to make the jpg to swf files cuz, I have too many pictures

Please some free time for me...

Thank you for your time ~!

the limit is 2880. but you can work around the limitation by importing your jpg in a fla and publish the SWF. You can then load the swf "oversized".

but, in general, you can download the jpg even repeatedly (and if you expect that the first is completely downloaded before launching other downloads) and the first is downloaded. others will be retrieved from the cache of the user.

p.s. I do not know how to download the jpg even hope that you are dealing with the limitation of size of download of jpg.

  • Synchronize a .muse file in two different computers before downloading

    I used to keep the site updated, but now someone else will update another section of the Web site.

    So I have the .muse file on my computer and the other person have an identical copy of the .muse file.

    My question is: if I make the changes on the Web site, its .muse file will be synchronized until it can make changes?

    I know that when I edit the file online, I receive a message asking to synchronize the file before editing it, but I don't know if is the same thing with editing the file to two different computers.

    Thanks in advance for any help...

    Johnny

    Hi Johnny,.

    You may be better to store the .muse file in Dropbox for example or you two work from that. Of course, you cannot work on it at the same time however, but you will always have the most recent. Don't forget to keep your goods here as well.

  • Creating a table of jpg files external, please help.

    So what I want to do is to load external jpg in an array of MovieClips and then access the main onEnterFrame function. My code is below:

    var imageLoader:Loader = new Loader();

    var imageArray:Array = new Array();

    function loadImage (): void {}
    for (i = 0; i < 9; i ++) {}
    imageLoader.load (new URLRequest ("image" + String (i) + '.jpg'));
    Demonstration [i] = new MovieClip();
    imageArray [i] .addChild (imageLoader);

    }

    addEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, onEnterFrame);

    }

    I tried to add an Event.COMPLETE function, I found:

    imageLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, imageLoaded);

    function imageLoaded(e:Event):void {
         var image:Bitmap = (Bitmap)(e.target.content);
         imageArray[i] = new MovieClip();
         imageArray[i].addChild(image);
    }

    Unfortunately, I usually only ended up with 1 or 0 images, and errors. I can't seem to properly pass the i
    value, so that's a big problem because the order the images go is key to my program.

    Please help me get this working so my image gallery can work, thanks!

    So the problem is that you want in the table in the order I'm right on that?

    See the updated code:

    var imageArray:Array = new Array();

    var imageLoader:Array = new Array();

    function loadImage (): void {}
    for (i = 0; i< 9;="" i++)="">
    [i] var imageLoader = new Loader();

    Demonstration [i] = new MovieClip();

    imageLoader.load (new URLRequest ("image" + String (i) + '.jpg'));
    imageArray [i] .addChild (imageLoader [i]);

    imageLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, imageLoaded);

    }

    addEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, onEnterFrame);

    }

    / * function imageLoaded(e:Event):void {}
    Bitmap of the image: var = (Bitmap) (e.target.content);
    imageArray [index] .addChild (image);
    }*/

    In this case, you are unable to follow if an image is loaded or not. It's easiest to do this. If your images do not come from dynamic sources and are set in the number and the position, you can use this method too.

    Apparently, Windows has a problem to download files larger than 50 MB.  To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

    In a security update, Microsoft has limited the size of files that can be downloaded from the remote folders to 50 MB. To increase this, you must change a registry setting.

    1. Download FileSizeLimit.reg
    2. Double click on FileSizeLimit.reg
    3. If necessary, enable the registry editor to run
    4. Click the Yes button to allow the changes need to be made
    5. Click OK
    6. Restart your computer

  • files and folders: How can I load all my files and folders to my new account of my external hard drive?

    Who can help, I just put a new account on my computer and deleted the old account. I backed up the old files on my external hard drive. I want to know is how can I load all my files and folders to my new account of my external hard drive? I thank you for your time and knowledge have a very nice evening, Shawn

    Because it's a new account (even if with the same name), the restore procedure is unable to put files and folders in the same place, they came (because this place technically no longer - if yes, then the process is done and the transfer is complete). It can create a set of separate files (maybe even under a new user name, if it has been stored in this way).  If so, all you need to do is copy the data as you would copy any other files and folders (not the main files of the user profile themselves but the data in them) on the new files in your user account and who will take care of the transfer. Here is more information about the restore procedure which may help you in the process.

    Here is an article on the restore procedure:http://www.vista4beginners.com/How-to-restore-files to make sure you do this right.  It's a selective restore of a full or selective backup (not a full restore from a full backup) - but since you did a full backup, it matches your process more closely than would a full restore.

    This is a GREAT article on the backup and restore processes in Vista http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2007.09.backup.aspx , but he won't go into detail about the restoration process - considering almost as easy, of course.  But it teaches you a lot about what is possible and how to do it.  It also focuses primarily on the full backup process, but he did mention the full backup and restore process as well.

    Here is an article on the advanced use of restoration (during normal restore does not work):http://www.mayankraichura.com/post/2009/08/06/Avdvanced-Restore-via-Windows-Vista-Backup-and-Restore-Center.aspx.

    1. after the start of "backup and Restore Center."

    2. I chose "Advanced Restore"

    3. I was did not an administrator password... maybe because my account is an administrator account.

    4 choose "files from a backup made on a different computer.

    5. in the dialog box indicating "Select the location of the backup to restore", select "hard drive, CD or DVD...". »

    6. under the drop-down list box, select your drive/partition and continue

    7. If all the backups on your drive, it will show a list of them.

    8. in my case, he showed a backup, but in the backup location, it will show "backup location is not available."

    9. I was frustrated, but then I somehow just select this backup (Yes... even if he said that thebackup location is not available " ")

    10. and you press "next".

    11 guess what... no error!

    12. a window appeared asking me if I wanted to do a full restore, or I want to select specific folders or files.

    13. I selected the folders I wanted to restore and bingo... it their restored smoothly.

    14. so that the next time see a mistake, try to continue with him... ;)

    I don't know if this will help, but it does not provide much information about the process (when it works).

    I hope this helps.

  • 5 Lightroom sometimes fails to load EXIF GPS data from .jpg files

    Until I Lightroom, I used geoSetter to add GPS data to my .jpg files. Most of them have loaded up in LR without problem, but for some of them, Lightroom could not import the GPS data. GPS Position 20 deg 54' 41.68 '' N, 107 deg 0' 5.47 "E

    The problem with P3207532.jpg is that it contains two sets of GPS, a values in the section of EXIF metadata in the XMP metadata section:

    $ exiftool -a -G P3207532.jpg | grep -i gps
    [EXIF] GPS Version ID : 2.2.0.0

    [EXIF] GPS Map Datum : WGS-84
    [EXIF] GPS Date Stamp : 2015:03:20
    [XMP]          GPS Date/Time                  : 2015:03:20 02:18:36Z
    [XMP] GPS Version ID : 2.2.0.0

    But the XMP section contains an incomplete set GPS fields. Note that XMP:GPSDateTime specifies a time other than EXIF:GPSTimeStamp.

    I don't know which of your programs may have created these XMP values false, incomplete, but they confused LR.  According to the specifications of the Working Group of the metadata, which accepted LR, LR, choose the EXIF GPS values and false XMP values should not confuse it. But LR is preferring the XMP values and then conclude it is not all the GPS coordinates.

    You can work around this bug in LR by doing:

    ExifTool - xmp: gpsdatetime = - xmp: gpsversionid = file

    It was reported many problems with older versions of PSE and WIN10.

    Can you open PSE from office or from the list of programs on the start menu?

  • 6 Lightroom doesn't recognize external metadata updates to JPG files

    I have a lot of JPG and RAW files in Lightroom 6. I recently started using 10 Photos On1 with Lightroom. The On1 browse application allows you to add/edit metadata such as ratings. And it's supposed to be faster for this task than Lightroom. So, I went back to rate photos in folders that had previously no side. Back in Lightroom, I synced the metadata from other applications. It worked for my photos in RAW. They all sides I have setin On1 Browse. But Lightroom did not recognize external updates to JPG files. Is this a bug in Lightroom? I find that this also discussed anywhere. Help, please.

    A couple of things to check.

    By default, I think that OnOne wrote NO metadata for an original, but a copy. The settings are in the prefs. So if you rate it's going, I think, write immediately to a sidecar XMP for a RAW, Lr see and import if requested.

    But JPEG files is not sidecars, and it will not write in the original JPEG, so there is no new metadata for Lr to read. You can force the metadata that you entered in OnOne in JPEG, IIRC, with an 'Embed metadata' command. Try this.

  • How to script instead of JPG files SWF files in the XML loader?

    I have a SWF (platform greensock.com) charger and a thumbnail image scroll under it made small image buttons. Each button image has a link that loads a SWF file into the SWF loader above. Here is the code for each button that loads the largest SWF in the charger above:

    Button3.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, Button3_PlayPopUp);

    function Button3_PlayPopUp(event:MouseEvent): void {
        //setting the sourceVar
        sourceVar="3.swf";
        //making the SWFLoader load
        //as setting the soureVar after the SWFLoader is created won't do anything unlesss
        //I also re-create the SWFLoader with the new sourceVar when the button is clicked
        loader_howToLoader2.url = sourceVar;
        loader_howToLoader2.load(true);

    }

    Then I decided to load all the button via the XML loader. I followed the tutorial on XML Chargers which deals with loading jpg images, and by assigning the URL links to them as follows in the XML file:

    <image src="appThmb_imgs/appThmb_imgs117x175/A-illuminatorUpLit_117x175.jpg" title="UpDownGlowingVase" url="http://www.888acolyte.com"/>

    and then in AS3 like this:

    var xmlLoader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();

    thisOne.link = imageList[item].attribute("url");

    function clickScrollerItem(e:MouseEvent):void {
     //trace("clicked item " + e.currentTarget.itemNum + " - visit url: " + e.currentTarget.link);
     var urlRequest:URLRequest = new URLRequest(e.currentTarget.link);
     try {
     navigateToURL(urlRequest);
     }
     catch (e:Error) {
     // handle error here
     trace(e);
     }
    }

    My question is: How can I ask for the code to every each small button thumbnail to load a larger image in the SWF loader above? I have to add something to the XML file or this way, it will never work with jpg images? URL in the adjustable XML source var (//setting the sourceVar), because they are all individual and somehow then apply taken SWL loader to load the game (//making load SWFLoader) as a standard somewhere in the AS3 code?

    Yes, you did.  I missed that.

    If you have used the link instead of urlString:

    function clickScrolleritem(e:MouseEvent):void {}

      loader_howToLoader2.url = MovieClip(e.currentTarget).link;
        loader_howToLoader2.load(true);

    }

  • Best to load the preloader of external file or place it directly in the existing sequence?

    It is best to load the preloader of external file or place it directly in an already existing sequence?

    No, there is no significant performance problems.  the loop which is used in the preloader must be completed (or be fired) when the loading is complete.

  • How to 'Allow smoothing' for the loaded XML .jpg?

    I have a thumb wheel image that loads a bunch of jpg. They are be enlarged rollover in 1,05.

    I've seen pixelated at scale 1 x 1 as well as expanded.

    I'm happy prettey how Flash renders the images with "Allow smoothing" on.

    How would I do it for the loaded xml jpg? Would it be as a script in the main folder or in the xml file?

    Here's how to load images in AS3:

    function completeHandler_AppPopUps(e:Event):void{
              //trace("thumbnail complete "+e.target.loader.parent.parent.name)//tells us when the loading is complete

              //size image into scroller (need only if I will have images at different sizes)
              resizeMe(e.target.loader.parent, 60, 90, true, true, false);

              TweenMax.to(e.target.loader.parent.parent, .5, {alpha:.7});//makes all thumb images at alpha=.7 after they are fully loaded
              //Tweener.addTween(e.target.loader.parent.parent, { alpha:1, time: .5 } );//caurina version

              TweenMax.to(e.target.loader.parent.parent, .5, {colorMatrixFilter:{contrast:1.1, brightness: .7, saturation: .5}});//makes all thumb images at brightness:0.5 after they are fully loaded

    }

    I don't want to complicate things more than necessary, but just in case it's needed here is the complete code for the edification of the wheel section:

    /////Parse XML
    //build scroller from xml
    function buildScroller(imageList:XMLList):void{
              trace("build Scroller");

              for (var item:uint = 0; item<imageList.length();item++) {
                        var thisOne:MovieClip = new MovieClip();

                        //outline
                         var blackBox:Sprite = new Sprite();
                        blackBox.graphics.beginFill(0xFFFFFF);
                        blackBox.graphics.drawRect(-1, -1, 62, 92);//-1,-1 places rectangle 1px left and up.62, 92 draws rectangle 1px wider on all sides of placed image dimenstions of 60x90
                        blackBox.alpha = thumbFadeOut;//setting Border Tweens
                        thisOne.addChild(blackBox);
                        thisOne.blackBox = blackBox;//setting Border Tweens

                          thisOne.x = thisOne.myx = (60 + padding) *item;//replaces the line above for scale tweenw roll over calculation. "myx" is a made up term which defines the position. 61 is the width of the thumb
                        thisOne.itemNum = item;
                        thisOne.title = imageList[item].attribute("title");
                        thisOne.link = imageList[item].attribute("url");
                        thisOne.src = imageList[item].attribute("src");
                        thisOne.alpha = 0;//makes all thumb images at alpha=0 before they are fully loaded

                        //Loading and Adding the Images
                        //image container

  • Problem loading an xml file if not placed locally.

    Hey!

    I started a discussion on my capture setting problem and I now reduced it now. It turns out it wasn't settings do not have caught. The swf file takes the fine settings, so this apparently isn't the issue. My problem is that it seems that the file won't loaded .xml. When I have my .xml and .swf file locally on my computer and it works, it works very well. When I place it on my web server the same way, it works fine. However, when someone puts my .swf in embedded on their Web site that the XML will not be loaded by the SWF for a reason any. Here's the AS3 code, load the xml file. He was works well all the way until I started playing with the call of the swf from different sources (web server of my friend in the integrating etc.).

    -loading of the external xml file.

    var urlRequest:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("http://www.website.com/folder/myfile.xml");

    var urlLoader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();

    var myXML:XML = new XML();

    var xmlList:XMLList;

    myXML.ignoreWhitespace = true;

    urlLoader.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, fileLoaded);

    urlLoader.load (urlRequest);

    function fileLoaded(event:Event):void {}

    the code to play with the xml file once loaded

    }

    It seems that fileLoaded() is never executed unless the swf runs locally or on my computer or my server or called directly in the browser (like by typing in the web address field). I really can't understand what is wrong. Any suggestion is appreciated!
