Q10 BlackBerry Media player?

It appears in the monitor of devices under settings?

In this case when you click on it which says it as the author?

It could just be a background application.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Media Player disappeared

Many people, I looked long and hard for this subject, so if it exists already, please just point me in the right direction. My Blackberry Media Player seems to have disappeared. When I select the media folder, all that appears is videos, photos, ringtones, voice Notes, video camera and records Notes... Miss me most of all what is music?

In order for me to play the music, I have to go through my files and find the songs... I can not play through any player. So I guess I deleted it on the accident. Any idea where I can download this media player?

    Thank you

You can or cannot play a music file when you do the above?

If you can, then you deleted not your music player.

In some versions of the OS, the "music" icon will appear, separate from and not IN the Media Player.

Look around your home screen, Applications folder, etc and see if you find the icon of the music.

  • Messed up Smartphones blackBerry Media Player

Since Wednesday night, I was not able to use the media player in my BB 8320 curve. That night, I was listening to a show via MLB Gameday Mobile audio player. Some sort of glitch that occurred during the game and gave rise to an error in Media Player. Since then, no audio web site will play in the media player; the BB is trying to open web sites in Media Player, but it still results in an error message. Any advice is welcome. Thank you.

First, do a reset of the device: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    Now, try again.

  • Prevent the audio being indexed by the BlackBerry Media Player

    Hi all

I have an application that stores and plays MP3s it downloads from a remote server. I use OS 4.5 and higher.

The problem I have is these MP3s are indexed and played by the phones built in Media Player. Are there ways to prevent this from happening without stopping playback of my application?

    Thanks in advance

    Ray

Hi, CMY, thanks for the info and your way works, but I eventually solve this another way.

If you hide the MP3s files are are more indexed by media player.

    for example

    try {}

    Directory = (FileConnection) Connector.Open (rental, Connector.READ_WRITE);

    directory.setHidden (true);

    Thank you

  • Smartphones blackBerry Media Player

Hello again! I tried to find this in the forums.  I used my note recorder and when I went to read he says: "media being played is of an unsupported format.»

I can go to youtube and watch videos so I know media player works.  Need help, remember, I'm still a beginner. I'm only 7 or 8 weeks!

    Hello

You can play the files normal .gp3.

Look at the file you have created in media center, explore and see what the extension is.

You're too, you are ending the voicenote correctly? Otherwise it will not have an end of file on it

and you will not be able to play.

  • Volume of Smartphones blackBerry Media Player is always bent :(

    Hello

Use this Blackberry curve for a few months now and it has recently started to behave strangely.

Whenever a song starts (as at the beginning of the song, or after a break and re-enable) the volume is cranked. Because I listen to a lot of podcasts that are short, I can't put the headphones in my ears at all, or I could damage my eardrums.

Even if I lower the volume for next to nothing, if I pause and reactivate it, the volume is cranked.

Current settings: in the Media Options, I have the following parameters:

    Media:

    Audio Boost: Off

    Equalizer headphone: Off

I don't know what else to do. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have a reliable resolution to this problem?

    Thank you very much

    Glen.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Best!

  • BlackBerry Q10 half of my music files are not appearing in the media player

I have a Q10 and have some music on it recently. The problem is that only 3-6 random pieces appear in each album. If I use the file manager, I can see them there and the phone can read files in this way however they do not show in media player, even in a search. I have...

tried to re-marking of media files.

    delete tags in multimedia files.

    I did a battery pull,

    I did a reset,

    I took the sd card,

    deleted from the sd card

and I tried a different version of the media such as mp3, wma, wav...

and the same thing guard again. I used a program of re-marking of the media and made each album still under same tags, the album art and all so I find it strange that some songs on the album appear and others not. Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

I'm adding files on my SD card via mass storage copy and paste.

    Hello

    It could be the cache.

32 GB memory cards or less, Yes, it is FAT32
If your memory card format is a 64 or 128 GB, exFAT.

If you want to, try to copy all your files, (do not copy the BlackBerry system such as files .crypt files) format the card and copy again.

    Hi Timothy,.

You can use the software provided by the camera to transfer music from your device to the computer. You can consult the documentation provided with the device.

Windows Media Player is used to copy music, videos and pictures of the Player library to a portable device, such as a compatible MP3 player. See the link below

  • Software BlackBerry BlackBerry Link cannot display Windows Media Player library

    Hello

BlackBerry link shows me an empty m usic library even if I have thousands of tracks in my Windows Media Player library. There was a time, it worked, but since a month Blackberry link displays a message: "there is no track in your Windows Media Player library. I reinstalled the software a bunch of times and have always chosen the Windows Media Player - not have iTunes installed. All other functions operate.

Anyone an idea what to do?

    Thank you very much!

    Kilian

    Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (64-bit)

    BlackBerry link 1.2.3.48 (32 bit)

    BlackBerry OS 10.2.1

Windows Media Player 12.0 (32 bit)

    Solved it myself:

I deleted the Windows Media Player library database (= all files in the C:\Users\NAMEOFTHEUSER\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media drive) - therefor I had to close all programs (all programs BB, the wmplayer and wmplayer network service). After the removal of the database, Windows Media Player has revamped its database and link BB finds the database.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones wired headphones only work with Media Player - only in calls

I have a generic wired headset connected to my Blackberry 8310, which works very well to listen to music and watch films through the media player, but when I try to make a call the sound is not patched with the headset (the speaker on the device is active instead).

I bought a different helmet, thinking it was a hardware problem, but I get the same result. It's like I have to activate the headset so that it works when making calls. I tried to find some kind of configuration for it - no luck. What Miss me?

I finally found the problem - the operating system. I had installed 4.2 on my 8310 and when I upgraded to 4.5 helmet began to work. Now, I just need to find a way to have the ring road sound automatically to the headset when connected (receiving or making calls).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Media Player is always auto-start

I have a Curve 3 G (9330), software package version 6 2426, Media player version 6, storage space is free application 268,1 MB, storage card free media 3.5 GB space on 18.

Whenever an event occurs on the device, plug in to charge, clear an alert, etc, Media Player starts to read MP3s that I have on the device.  Which setting I'm missing to disable auto-start?  I'd appreciate any help with this annoying and sometimes embarrassing incident.

I think that I fell on the cause and the solution to my problem.  The software module of the multimedia player wireless sync has been active continuously.  Whenever an event has occurred on the device, it could trigger the function of wireless synchronization and automatically start playing the MP3 files available.  By removing the wireless synchronization module, media player does not start blasting music at the wrong time and in the wrong places.  Because I want to only synchronize with the music on my PC, it's no big deal to move manually the music files (USB) for the storage card from the BlackBerry.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones last one for the day - Media Player?

Sorry about that but I have another question - I synced a few of my itunes playlists on the map and I can see and play the songs on playlists, but I can't understand for the life of me how to to move to the next song to unlock my phone, go back to the media player and then manually choose move to the next song. Isn't there a shortcut key or cant I double click on my headphones as I do with my iphone? Or am I the only one blackberry user suffering of TDA who likes to jump through their playlists sometimes?

Here you go (from the online manual):

    Media shortcuts

According to language hits input you are using, some shortcuts may not be available.
