Can you help me with this question means?

I am experienced in creating applications for the BlackBerry platform and am currently deploy a sample application with PhoneGap (Córdoba) with BlackBerry WebWorks for the BlackBerry 10 Beta (QNX) , without great success. I'm following the instructions in the guide of PhoneGap Getting Started Guide for BlackBerry , linked to their developers blog.

Note that the org.apache.cordova function is not found, as well as all the features of blackberry.* .

Ignoring the warnings and deployment on the BB10 Simulator results in this error: http://i.imgur.com/aUcPM.png

It is worth noting that none of the warnings above or the runtime error occurs when you deploy to the PlayBook instead of 10 of BlackBerry.

It would be appreciated if no guidance can be given to help solve this problem.

    Thank you very much.

It is fully supported, it uses just a different implementation internally (that's why he needs different compared to the PB and BB7 and below feature identifiers).
I did remove the org.apache.cordova line because it doesn't cause any damage to my application.
I think the WebWorks Packer tries to find an org.apache.cordova in the folder SDK WebWorks to copy into the folder bar, while in reality org.apache.cordova already exists in your folder www is also copied in the file bar. (Yet I still think that this line is always necessary to access the API of Cordoba on the device)

  • Display of newspapers without QNX Momentics IDE

    Hello world!

I switched to QT Creator for faster compilation & deployment.

Everything works including fines of debugging, but it displays no newspapers (qDebug etc.).

I know that newspapers should be directed to stdout/stderr if they should be displayed in the console of QNX Momentics.

This is done using qInstallMsgHandler and it works. But it does not work in QT Creator.

    So the question is:

How QNX Momentics intercepts not newspapers once they are redirected to stderr/stdout?

I was able to view the logs via SSH using the following method. He works for slogger2, but I don't know how to access the output stdout/stderr:

    (1) start blackberry connect

    / Applications/bbndk/host_10_0_9_52/darwin / x 86/usr/bin/blackberry-connect 192.168.157.128 - password devicePass - sshPublicKey «/Users/User/.config/QtProject/qtcreator/qnx/BlackBerry Simulator/id_rsa.pub»

    (2) ssh [email protected] "/Users/User/.config/QtProject/qtcreator/qnx/BlackBerry Simulator/id_rsa.

    (3) slog2info w | grep qt - msg

    All suggestions are welcome!

    He can't not stunts.

    I followed this guide:

    http://Qt-project.org/wiki/Qt-creator-with-BlackBerry-10

Automatic completion did not work initially. I don't know why, maybe the roads were too long?

As a solution, I created a symbolic link in the my project folder:

    include->/Applications/bbndk/target_10_0_9_386/qnx6/usr/include

Then I added the following lines to the .pro file:

    INCLUDEPATH += include include/qt4/QtCore
    LIBS += -lbbcascades

In addition, newspapers started working after restart.

    Everything works now.

    p.s. I use Mac OS X Lion.

  • QNX will replace the Blackberry OS?

I have read a few forums, they said, QNX will replace Blackberry OS is this true?, then what the developer Java Blackberry supports, if new QNS will support legacy java blackberry applications

    Welcome to the support forums

you will not be able to get an official statement from a RIM employee, I guess, they all NDAs.

in regard to news on independent Web sites and rims clean news tell us it's going to be like this (my opinion):

    QNX will replace Blackberry OS

BlackBerry Apps (j2me + bb-extensions) will continue to operate under the QNX in a clean VM

Basically, this means that get us, as developers, the same thing that we now have a phone where our applications run and much more: Android support, native support, html5 etc pp.

If the BB API will feature all, offer the best integration etc? We'll see, but my guess is that it is the most advanced in terms of integration (and the main objective of rims for things that cannot be solved with HTML5/Air)

  • Using QNX Neutrino utility in 10 Blackberry app

    Hello

Forgive me if this is a dumb question (as almost certain) but I can't for the life of understand me how actually on the implementation of QNX Neutrino utility in a Blackberry 10 app.

I am referring specifically to these utilities that are listed in the API reference alphabetically as simply "utilities".

Documentation for them seems to take, Word for Word, to the documentation of QNX Neutrino.  It seems that they run some kind of command line, and I can't find an example or documentation of how it is integrated with a Blackberry application.

Is the only way to access these public services by creating a BB app entirely from command line?  Are still available for use in applications of BB (as I said, the utilities of documentation on the site Web of BB does not seem have been written by and for the BB...)

The only thing I could find is http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Native-Development/wpa-cli/td-p/1717577 who don't has not given me much hope, but that was before the recent/updated SDK updated release and is pretaining to playbook, not BB 10 SDK, so I don't know if it's 100% there...

Thanks in advance for your help, and I apologize for a vague question.

I guess you're just exploring and do not necessarily have a specific in mind use case?

In fact I don't think that these utilities are primarily for use in an application, but rather for use by developers to develop, troubleshooting, testing, or other such things.

In any case, if you need to use one of them in an application and were willing to bound your app for them even though there is probably no guarantee that they will be always present on the device, there are several approaches.  The most direct is to use the system() C library call.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Compatability between blackberry and Microsoft Mail

I bought a computer with windows Vista 64 bit. The seller has convinced me that I don't have outlook, as it had Microsoft mail. I tried to sync contacts and calendar, but have problems. Contacts seem to be picking up information from the fields, so I lose a lot on the blackberry or the spread between home info and info office. I have not been able to tt sync until the calendar to the alll. I am using Desktop manager V5.0, the version of the platform is 3.4and application versiin is 4.5.0.131. Is this an inherent compatibility or it should work?

The phone is the Blackberry Curve 8330.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

This is the KB that deals with PIM DTM software compatibility:

KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize

I can't see Microsoft Mail there anywhere.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones helmet standard compatibility with BB 8330?

I was not able to get standard headphones to work with my BB 8330.

I pulled out my old original headphones supplied with the BB, and they work fine.

Is there a compatibility issue with standard headphones?

If Yes, where can I get headphones that work with the 8330?

Is there a work around for this?

    Thank you.

This forum thread, it seems that some cards seem to work for blackberry, maybe your provider sells one that will work: http://forums.crackberry.com/f61/using-headphones-blackberry-8830-a-2828/

  • BlackBerry BlackBerry classic classic compatibility

Hi, can you please confirm that the classic BlackBerry is compatible with Office 365

-Let's get contacts, calendar and emails from one account to Office 365. In addition, it can work with more than one Office 365 account (for contacts, calendar and emails) on the same phone.

    Thank you

    Yep, of course.

It is compatible with all models of BB 10 I think, certainly the Z10 BB I had before my new classic BB.  Go to settings/accounts and configure your Office 365 account, just as you would any other e-mail account.

I have been using Office 365 on my BB devices since February 2013, no problem.

BB world, there's a OneDrive app that works perfectly.

I have no experience with the use of more than one Office 365 account (or any other account), but I imagine that you can have more than one because you can set up multiple e-mail accounts on all devices of BB 10.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry API Web services 12 - compatibility with version 10

    Hello

Plan ahead here... I'll build a set of web pages that perform functionality admin for BES 5/6 and 10 BES using BlackBerry web services. I would like to understand what changes, if any if to do when BES 12 happens. The API will remain the same? What changes, if any there? There may be additional features that could be useful?

    Thank you

    John

    Hey John,

Although I expect that there are features of addtitional, BES12 documentation has not been published, so the list of features is still not yet public. Regarding Webservice of Blackberry, I don't foresee much change to the existing list of APIs with the new version, the transition should be as transparent it would go BWS with BES 5 BWS on 10 BES.
