Qosmio F50 - 10 M - update graphics card is not possible?

Hello world

After reading news on the new nvidia mobile graphics cards, I wonder if it is possible to change the installed in the Qosmio F50 - 10 M.
I know that not a lot of laptops offers this feature.

Does anyone have more info on this subject? Has anyone tried to take his laptop out so far to see what? A´s possible?

Greetings,

Hello

Regarding the hardware upgrades on your laptop, you should read this article in the section frequently asked questions:
[Can I upgrade the CPU, graphics card or motherboard in my Toshiba laptop? | http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/ann.jspa?annID=13]
As far as I know, the GPU is solered on the motherboard and cannot be exchanged.

Remember that if you change something, you will lose the warranty! :(

    Hello.

    Purchase BIOS version was 6.0.
Then I have updated at 6:30.

I guess when I had version 6.0 of the BIOS, I have disabled the video card Intel from the BIOS. And in version 6.30 without possibility to enable/disable Intel graphics.

Question: In the BIOS version 6.0, it is possible to disable the onboard Intel?
In advance thank you very much for your help.

Intel GPU is listed in Device Manager?

If so, the Intel graphics card is enabled and recognized by the BIOS.

  • Equium P300-16 t and update graphic card

    Hi all.

I was thinking about upgrading my graphics on the computer laptop satellite P300-16 t. I have not opened yet so my question is, has anyone here opened this machine? If so, is there a way to install a dedicated graphics card? i.e. the pcie? Could someone please advise if there are institutions in the machine to upgrade my graphics?

My gratitude in advance for any help.

In General, update graphics card is not supported and cannot be done.
Toshiba has written about it in http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9401AX0001R01.htm

A common problem with portable mobile is the heat and to built the effective cooling system. Each laptop has optimized cooling system. More powerful graphics card will produce more heat, and this balanced hardware platform will not properly work. Can result in permanent damage from overheating or material.

Maybe stupid comment now, but if you need more powerful your laptop sell on eBay and buy a new one.

  • Re: Satellite L350-145 - updated graphics card is possible?

Anyone know if it is poosible to upgrade the graphics card on this model?

I bought a copy of Grand Theft Auto 4 and once launched crashes with a fatal error. The world pc tech guy said immediately that the graphics card was not up to the requirements of games.

Have a look at online seems to indicate that any upgrade would be difficult on most laptops, if not impossible.

    Hello

    > Have a look online seems to indicate that any upgrade would be difficult on most laptops, if not impossible.
    It's true!
Upgrading the graphics card is not possible, the GPU is fixed (welded) on the motherboard and it s not possible to remove it in addition the motherboard and the BIOS would not support any other graphics chips.

    Welcome them

  • Qosmio X 770-exchange of graphics card

    Hello!

I have a question - is possible to change the graphics card in this laptop? I wonder about it, cause I use this laptop instead of 3D modeling, in games and in this situation programs like SolidWorks inform me that my capomuter (graphics card) capacity is very low.

    Any ideas?

Generally Exchange or upgrade graphic card is not possible on mobile units.

    Check it please http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9401AX0001R01.htm

  • A Satellite Pro 6100 graphics card does not work correctly

    Hello!

I have a Satellite Pro 6100 (PS610E - 02c 60-GR) 1.7 Ghz, 256 MB, 40 GB, 15XT and a Geforce4 420 Go (32 MB) graphic card. Until yesterday it was working properly. Now, there are colors on the screen and there was a blue screen a few times, which says something about my graphics card (it disappeared from fast read).
I uninstalled the old driver and reinstalled twice. Nothing has changed. Also I tried with an external monitor, but there wasn't any change, too.

    Now my questions:
    1. is it possible to change the graphics card (in particular, can I do it alone without a technician)?
    2. How can I do this, is there some tutorials, especially for my laptop?
    3. an another Geforce4, but for example a Geforce4 440 Go with 64 MB of RAM would fit in my notebook?

I thank very you much in advance!
    Lukas

    Hi Lukas

The led flashes as it provides a microcode error!
This is especially if the malfunction of hardware has been detected.
I presume that the replacement of the graphics card is the reason!

As in previous discussions suggested the replacement of the graphics card is NOT possible. You don't believe!
Looks like that the BIOS cannot handle this new graphics chip.

  • Update graphics card on Satellite A200

Is it possible to change the graphics card on the Satellite A200 and if its possible how he and witch card to use?

I agree with the statement made by the above user.
The point is that the laptops card mother layout is completely different and the slots are not the same as on the PC desktop motherboards.
The GPU chip is mainly fixed and soldered on the motherboard and cannot be removed on simply average.

There are also a few other reasons for which the graphics card can not be updated but I n t want to write a full A4 page now.
You know. The point is; It s is not possible.

I already upgraded my PSU from a 300w to a 750w power to manage the new graphics card. During the installation of this new graphics card the computer will start show him Press esc for boot menu screen and after a while, it will go to a black screen with a cursor. I put in the disk of driver installation accompanying the GTX 780 from the start. Now, I looked online and saw a lot of people who update their bios but I couldn't find really any help for a motherboard very FRIEND 7.09 Pegatron 2ad5. Thanks in advance to one that meets. =)

    Hello

Most of the 7xx manufactured NVIDIA video cards are active UEFI and your PC does not have the right level of BIOS.  Your PC needs to have a BIOS version 8 level.  If the BIOS of your PCs supported the UEFI mode and secure boot you have a different problem.

Looking for a different graphics card that requires no UEFI BIOS. You may be able to locate a Sapphire AMD graphics card that will work and be near the same level of performance. Glance at the series Sapphire R9which are not marked UEFI.

The 780 NVIDIA or any graphics card close in performance will eventually be GPU bound.  This means that the graphics card will not reach its full potential of your PC with the design of the processor and motherboard.

Is it possible to update this model - A500-1gh PSAR9E, with the best graphics card and that (if possible)?
    Thank you!

    Hello

Update on laptops is not possible due to the graphics card of specific design.

  • Power supply with updated graphics card update

I am considering buying the HPE-150 t with an improved graphics card standard:

1 GB ATI Radeon HD 5770 [2 DVI, HDMI, DP, VGA adapter]

I went on http://support.asus.com/PowerSupplyCalculator/PSCalculator.aspx?SLanguage=en-us to the appropriate power needed for this gauge system, and it recommends a minimum 450 Watt power supply.

If I ended up buying the HPE-150 t with updated graphics card, I get a power supply improved to compensate for the increase of energy consumption?

Here are the specs of your motherboard.  It indicates a 350 Watt PSU.  However, if you scroll down to hardware options, you will see a 460 watt power supply associated with the 5770 video card.

My 740 gforce graphics card does not work in my HP Pavilion HPE h8-1205, please help

    Supaman4040, welcome to the forum.

I think that your problem is related to the BIOS.  The 700 series video cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI in its motherboards up to mid-October 2012.  Your computer was released January 25, 2012.  You must contact the card manufacturer to see if they have a VBIOS update which will allow the card to work with your computer.

    =========================================
It may be interesting to try to go to support
site Web of MFG. your video card and
search for course Windows XP Compatible
    drivers.

(FWIW... If your computer is a laptop... check
the manufacturer of the comput4er one
    updated video driver)

If you do not know the make and model of
    your video card... check documentation
    supplied with the computer.

Also, you can try the following steps...
    Reach... Start / run... type...
    Msinfo32... Press on enter.

    On screen Information System... Choose...
    Components / display...

You should find the make and model of your
adapter display as well as the version of the driver.

If the driver on the Web site is no longer
    current than you run...
Download and install it. Also, you should find
and follow the installation instructions on the
support site. John Inzer - MS - MVP - Digital Media Experience - Notice_This is not tech support_I'm volunteer - Solutions that work for me may not work for you - * proceed at your own risk *.
