Qosmio F50 - 12W - processor Quad HD not recognized by the operating system

Hello

I can't find my Quad Core processor in my device manager. It is not in the sound, video processors... devices were it suppose to be. (or as an unknown device). As it is disconnected or something. Is it a hardware error or there is a special way have recognized this system hardware. Even that I installed the driver says--> not found material, connect the material at any time in the future.
My Spec:
F50 - 12W - Vista32 Home Premium

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Are - this you laptop preinstalled with Toshiba recovery image?
You can view Toshiba HD console in the windows sidebar?

As far as I know for the coprocessor must be preinstalled Driver TOSHIBA Quad Core HD.
Strange, it's that I can't find this driver for Vista on Toshiba download page. For Win7, the driver is available.

Because your old battery is always recognized, I think you bought the battery is not compatible.

That's why you should buy a compatible battery recommended by Toshiba.

  • Satellite P100-324 - GPU overheating due to fan does not work in the operating system

    Hello world.

While trying to solve the problem of RAM of 4 GB ([this thread | http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=28374&tstart=0]), I meet another weird thing - gpu overheating due to fan does not work in the operating system.

Now, I restored the XP MCE using the Toshiba Recovery and I was VERY surprised to see that the problem still exists! As soon as loading the system GPU fan stops, and there is only tranquility. The application load is heavy on GPU and reaching 104 results by reducing its GPU and MEMORY clock values and NOT in the activation of the fan.

The same thing happens in 64-bit gentoo. ACPI can be turned on or off, it is not serious, the GPU fan always dies as soon as the system load. In non-OS environments (bios, program of recovery, etc.) the fan works fine, GPU cooling from time to time.

This problem occurs in versions of BIOS: 2.40, 4.00, 4.20.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, since this laptop is my main working tool and I can't let go 14 days (service).

I saw in your other thread that you have updated the BIOS and you have installed several different OS.

Fact is that the BIOS v 4.2 package contains BIOS 32-bit and 64-bit OS.
Your laptop has been preloaded with Win XP MCE 32 bit. Please use the 32-bit BIOS if the original XP MCE running on the laptop.

  • T610 with Windows Embedded 7 - the system does not license for the operating system image

    Hello community,

I bought a refurbished computer ThinClient T610 that is running a Windows 7 Embedded English. The label on the package says, that the computer ThinClient is allowed with W7E. When I now run Easy Tools installed on the computer ThinClient hp to create a USB Image with the German language, everything works fine: the image is downloaded from the web and put on the stick.

But after you start the stick, the installation program tells me: "the system does not license for the operating system image. What I am doing wrong? The BIOS is already the latest.

Or y at - it another way to transform the operating system in German? There should be an option to download additional languages, but this particual window has no other options. And I have not found any manual way to download other languages.

    Concerning

    Michael

Sometimes it can be so easy... ;-)

    So here's my solution:

    1. go on the Web for hp Support site

    2. go in the software and driver download

    3. set the language of driver on the language of your choice (in fact: it was the main problem)

    4. download an operating system image

    5. run the configuration tool and copy the image of an operating system on a flash drive

    6. restart the workstation and install the os

    7. take advantage of your computer ThinClient in the language of your choice

I don't know, why the hp Easy Tools downloaded the image of evil, but with this solution, that I find myself at the same point, as if they did.

Probably, all in all probably is a 16-bit program, and as such does not work on Windows 8.0/8.1 64 bit. In addition, the game seems to have 20 years or more. You can try running in compatibility mode, but I think that the game is dead. Hope this helps and if you need help please post and we will be happy to help you.

  • Satellie Pro A120 - network adapter wireless not recognized by any operating system

    Hello

    I have a satellite Pro A120 (I bought two - it's a long story!)

A month ago, I replaced the battery as life batt had fallen to 30 minutes. As a result, there were major problems with windows and toshiba software compete on power management and the long and short it wasn't that XP needed to be reinstalled.

However, due to the relocation, the wireless card is not recognized. It is not the card, I swapped it out of the computer and it works fine in my other A120. If anyone has any ideas as to why it would not be recognized and that I could do to remedy the situation?

  • Applications are not loaded in the operating system 7 simulators

    Dear BlackBerry developers,

I can't get my apps loaded into the OS 7 simulators. I use BlackBerry Java plug-in for Eclipse 1.3.0 and downloaded BlackBerry JRE 7.0.0.  I tried "Run as-> BlackBerry Simulator", but the application has not been loaded into the Simulator. In addition, although I had installed several OS 7 simulators, they are not listed in the peripheral dropdownbox of the Configurations run-> tab Simulator.

I tried to load the app manually in the Simulator, but I couldn't it no more. Results expected - > Standard - > 7.0 folder contains a .cod file and many .debug files. I tried the .cod file, but it does not appear in the Simulator.

Then I downloaded the BlackBerry Java plug-in for Eclipse 1.5.0 but still no application in simulators...

I'd be happy if I have a suggestion here...

    Best regards

Well, it turned out that I had too many image files in the res folder. Remove a few solved the problem.

Also, re - install simulators in the directory where the older simulators made visible in Eclipse plug-in.

  • laptop does not start at the operating system hp mini 1154nr

    Hi all

Can I please help determine if my hard drive is bad or is there something I can do to fix this? The problem im having is that my computer hp laptop mini 1154nr at startup hp scren with f9 and f10 display on screen. I press f10 and then exit the bios setup and receive a black screen with no bootable partition in table. How this can be fixed.

    Hi Breezy357,

To determine the disk is bad, run the hard drive test in BIOS:

Test a hard drive from BIOS

If the hard drive is bad, you need get the replacement of the hard disk, and then get a recovery media for your model and OS of HP to install.

View the results of your test drive and we can go from there on what are the next steps.

  • DVD player not recognized after the upgrade to windows 8

I write this to document some odd behavior, that I lived after the upgrade to Windows 8 in the hope that it might save some grief for others.  Of course, if someone could explain why this problem occurs, I'd be very interested/grateful for an answer.

I recently updated my computer from Vista Ultimate to Windows 8.  I did a clean install of Windows 8, because there is nothing special about the machine I wanted to preserve.  In all cases, the upgrade went without a hitch and I was soon back up with Windows 8 as my OS (I really like, btw).

The only oddity I noticed after the upgrade is that my DVD drive was not recognized by the operating system.  Remember, this is the same DVD player that was used to install the OS, so I found it rather peculiar.  After a bit of lost time, try software solutions theoretical I started to play with the equipment.

My motherboard is an ASUS M3A78-EM.  My hard drive is attached to the SATA1 port and my DVD player is plugged into the SATA2 port.  I removed the DVD drive from SATA2, plugged into SATA3, restart Windows 8 (from HDD on SATA1) and Windows 8 now recognizes the drive!

I thought it was really weird, so I stop, put the DVD on SATA2 drive, rebooted, and the drive was no longer available in Windows 8.

OK, so I thought that maybe the SATA2 channel was bad (even if he had worked at the Windows 8 DVD installation, just an hour or two before), so I put my HDD on SATA2 and the DVD drive on SATA1.  After doing this, Windows 8 start very well (so there is nothing wrong with SATA2), and it recognizes the DVD on the SATA1 drive.

OK, so I did that for a while, and virtually all combinations I tried worked as long as the DVD player is not plugged in SATA2.

I cannot live with that, but thought it was really strange.  Also, I note that the old operating system (Vista) was acknowledging the same DVD player while it was plugged on SATA2.  This leads me to believe that the problem has something to do with Windows 8, but I can't imagine what could be the cause.

Thanks dude.  After you create this registry key/value and restart Windows 8 was able to finally see my DVD drive on SATA2.  =)

  • A key, but not cd/dvd for the operating system

I received my new computer, but did not come with the operating system installed. It has the key for windows vista, but not CD... How to install the operating system

    Read the info below:

How to get Vista recovery Media or the Vista recovery Partition on your computer back to factory settings.

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
