  This indicates that the site is by default an obsolete encryption encryption algorithm that is vulnerable to the attack of 'Blocking' which was in the news earlier this year.

      I have updated Thunderbird to the latest Version and now Lightning does not seem to want to re-populate. It will not allow me to switch between  different displays (Day, Week, Month). Also the TASK entries are no longer available.
     How do I re-synch to the appropriate file, and where are they please?

  Have you checked the updates for your add ons after update to Thunderbird. Each new version of Thunderbird is a matching version of lightning. Looks like you have not upgraded the lightning.

• Epic fail after updating 10.6.4

  VMware Fusion 3.1 with Windows 7 64-bit on MacBook Pro. After updating 10.6.4 VM crashed hard when VMware warned me that the OpenGL driver was no longer good. He conditioned over and over again the same error message. By clicking on 'OK' would simply put the error message up. I could not leave VMware and had to force quit. I could only access the VMware virtual machine after force - quit VMware and restart the computer.

  VMware gives this large error message:

  "A serious error has occurred within your computer's OpenGL graphics drivers.

  Accelerated 3D graphics support will be disabled until the next time that our virtual machine is running. If you're runningâ 3D mode application full screen, you may need to switch out of it using Alt + Tab or Ctrl Alt Delete. You can also get to suspend and then resume this virtual machine.

  Make sure that you have or use the latest drivers from the website of the manufacturer of your graphics card. If this problem persists, s contact VMware support. Details of this error was recorded to the log file of the virtual machine. »

  (1) there is no work around.  VMWare cannot correct the buggy drivers from Apple.  There is nothing wrong with merger.

  (2) your only choice (like mine) is to rebuild your machine with 10.6.3 or wait for Apple to fix 10.6.4.

  It is a widespread problem, and Fusion is one of the many much affected products.

  I'm debating on going back on 10.6.3 (which is on a days work), or hoping that Apple will fix it.  The best thing to do is to newspapers an official ticket and call apple (if you have applecare).  More they get, the sooner we will have a fix.  I just hope that we don't have to wait 10.6.5.

  Long story short : iPhone 6, I downloaded iOS 9,3/9.3.1 of fingerprint scanner stopped working the same day.  Apple refuses to acknowledge the update of iOS could have abandoned my scanner.

  I downloaded the update from iOS9.3 about a week ago.  That day and all the days after, my phone turns off randomly several times (forcing me to restart it).  In addition, the same day of the 9.3 iOS update, the fingerprint reader has stopped working.  I'm very well on my phone so I thought it must be a problem of update.  I went into settings/privacy, trying to set up the scanning of fingerprints and it wouldn't let me put a new stamp in and jumping right to a screen "Fingerprint has failed."  A few days later, I downloaded the iOS 9.3.1 update (hoping it might solve my problem), and he did not.  In fact, the 9.3.1 was unable to completely download update and forced me to resort to reinstall a backup.

  Later, I went into the Apple Store, and they said that an update could never do that to my phone, and my phone screen needs to be replaced.  Then, after insisting to ask a co-worker for a second opinion, she came back and said she talked to 3 different employees at the Genius Bar, and that the update would not have abandoned my fingerprint reader.  Then she said I have to buy a new phone, and they couldn't fix it.  If I had not been a loyal customer of Apple, then I would have thought for sure they were trying to get just upgrade me to the next model.  Has anyone else encountered this problem?

  Thank you for taking the time to answer.  In Device Manager, there's 3 USB without name of devices that contained errors.  Even uninstall and restart did not resolve errors.  As the fingerprint reader and camera are built into the laptop, there is no option "Reinstall" and Sony eSupport was just shocking!

  So after some reading on various forums where a lot of people report the same problems with Windows 7 auto was last updated, I stumbled upon a solution:

  SOLUTION:

  1 uninstall USB devices without a name with errors.

  2. shut down Windows.

  3 unplug the laptop and remove the battery of the laptop for a few minutes

  4. replace the battery and restart Windows

  5 USB devices reinstall themselves and fix of a problem!

  Can someone at Microsoft tell me why it works?

  Other than this little glitch, I'm very happy with Windows 7.  Thank you very much!

  I use a Treo 650 (Sprint) and execution of Windows XP Pro with Outlook 2002.  Everything worked fine until I got a message from Windows stating that I needed to update Windows for a critical update.  After the update I can't have my Treo 650 (Sprint) to connect for hotsync.  When I plug in the windows of rope gives recognition boop that new hardware was found. However, when I press the button hotsysc hotsync fails stating that he could not find the connection.

  I just upgraded to win 10 and can no longer read the DVD.

  "This PC" shows the drive as "DVD RW Drive(E' under name, but it just says CD drive under type.) This means considers that it is now only a CD player?

  After the upgrade from Photoshop Elements version 9 to version 13, the iTunes 'Sync Photos from Photoshop Elements' feature no longer works.

• Acrobat XI Standard failed after update

  One of our users updated the Acrobat Standard XI, after that it was impossible to open.  We have uninstalled, reinstalled, completely removed everything from the workstation associated with Acrobat and still has problems.

  I found by comparing the other workstations to the Acrobat.exe file is missing on install.  I tried to copy it over on the other computer, it says "Windows cannot access this file, you do not have permissions.  I took possession of all of the directory, so we know that isn't true.

  I am currently at a point where I can't find anything anywhere on this subject and it must be resolved.

  Updated, I ran a repair and checked before opening anything and the acrobat.exe is here.  When running as administrator the acrobat.exe file actually removes itself and the following message < see screengrab >.  As already said this has full permissions file so there is no reason for that to happen.

  I already did all of these steps, clearly that they were not communicated clearly in my post.

  I ended up having to reach out to the chat support which, after an hour of fumbling around, copied the Acrobat.exe to their machine, and apparently it worked.
